habe ich so meine Probleme mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich habe für 4 Nächte in einer gebuchten „2-Schlafzimmer-Villa“ in der Spitze über 700,-$ pro Nacht bezahlt. Bekommen haben wir eine „1-Schlafzimmer-Villa“ mit einer Verbindungstür zu einem „Guest-Room“. In Summe kommen wir wohl aufs Gleiche – jedoch war die „1-Schlafzimmer-Villa“ nicht ausreichend mit Besteck o.ä. für 4 Personen ausgelegt. Auch wurde unser Zimmer nur einmal vom Housekeeping gemacht – 2-mal wurden wir nicht bedient. Die zahlreichen Mitarbeiter auf der Anlage ignorieren die Gäste komplett – erst wenn der Gast als erstes grüßt, hat man die Chance auch einen Gruß zu erhalten. Die Anlage ist gepflegt – aber neben ein paar Pools, Sonnenliegen, einem Gym, Grillplätze und einem Basketball-Korb hat es nicht viel mehr zu bieten außer der tollen Lage direkt am Meer. Wie also findet der hohe Preis seine Berechtigung im Verhältnis zur Leistung? Security-Personal ist vorhanden aber offensichtlich überfordert! Am späten Abend von Freitag auf Samstag feierten junge Leute – offensichtlich alkoholisiert – auf dem Parkplatz, waren dabei sehr laut, warfen mit Flaschen und fanden ihren Spaß permanent zu Hupen und damit die Nachtruhe der Gäste zu stören. Es dauerte sehr lange bis Mitarbeiter des Hotels dem Einhalt geboten. Dies war unser 5ter Aufenthalt in einem MVC – und mit Abstand der, der uns am wenigsten gefallen hat.

Beware the Ocean View claim. What Expedia lists as Ocean View, Marriott says is Partial Ocean View or No Ocean View. The only view my room had was to a sea of asphalt (parking lot). Not only disappointing, but some would argue misleading advertising. The Hotel manager at the Marriott (Michelle) has no people skills. Of course, when your employer misleads the market, your job is difficult. At the same time, a perk might have soothed the anger. Expedia also needs to fix its posting to align with the property description.

The property advertises beach access, which is literally true however no chaires are provided. A "third party" owns the chairs and charges $15 an hour to rent them. Considering the high per night cost, Marriott should provide beach chairs. I found it insulting.

Fraud. Booked an ocean front room and paid over $500 a night. They put me in a room on the side on an inlet looking at buildings and insist that a view of an inlet is oceanfront. First front desk agent brought out the manager for me and she was rude and clearly lying about not having other rooms available. I went to another front desk agent and he let me know that they had actual oceanfront rooms available but he just needed approval from a manager. When he came back from talking to the manager suddenly the available rooms were no longer available. This place is a joke and a fraud.

no housekeeping the whole week, shower diverter needs to be replaced. No resort beach chairs. $65.00 a day for beach chairs. Signs of wear and tear and poor workmanship

We really enjoy the Hotel, all the areas, the access to the beach, very nice. We disliked the few options of food, no decent breakfast, the marketplace is not an option, only for coffee or ice cream. It was a surprise that Marriott do not have a Sunday Brunch or at least, an American Breakfast. We took Dinner at the "On the Rocks Pool Bar", but the menu is not as a Restaurant, the best option we ordered was a Mahi Mahi Sandwich. We believe this must be reviewable. Thanks!

The room was unbelievable. Totally refurbished. The grounds were perfect. The food on site is only a convenience as you cook in your condo or go out. The is one security hard named Barry. Stay away from him unless you want a bad experience. Otherwise great spot

Not going back there.
I likely won't stay there or a similar place. I checked us in around 2:00 but they informed me the room wasn't available and in fairness check-in was at 4. At the same time I asked for a later check out 11:30. I then had to take people to airport and my GF was left to finish checking in. She did have to wait which was fine and in general it was 4pm. But after retrieving luggage she was informed there wasn't anyone to help with bags and the UNIT was OVER 1200' away and disconnected from the property. She was eventually given a cart to push in the rain to get the bags into the unit. Departure day At 9:50am we were informed by cleaning staff that we needed to check out by 10am. In fairness a text message came to my phone during dinner and I did not see it. But I was troubled by the lack of understanding and the constant knocking on the door and phone calls. I told them we are not leaving until we both showered. We were out within an hour and my GF had to finish her make-up and hair in common non-airconditioned bathroom. The night before departing. As I said they did send a text about check out but because of another incident I don't think I seen the text. While we were getting ready they called to ask if they could enter the room because the adjacent room's lock would not work and they hoped the connecting door may be able to be open via our room. It really wasn't a big deal but it also says something about maintenance.

Even though we couldn’t really use the beach because it was so windy, it was beautiful to walk and very clean. The pool areas were very nice loved all the foilage surrounding the property. My husband was impressed and wants to return.

Extremely disappointed at what you call Ocean View. It was essentially a view of the inlet, not really ocean. Plus there was construction, so scaffolding and tarping spoiled even that. At $1000 for two nights I feel thoroughly cheated.

It was 4:00 and time for check in and there was only one employee. Several people were in line waiting before another person showed up to help. Other than that the place was awesome. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful property, great location near the beach, lots of amenities, very clean. Room wasn’t ready at 4 o’clock check in… waited in car until 4:45, called back, finally ready, moved car due to parking location, back to check in again because they forgot to program our wrist bands.
