We recently stayed at Home Suites and liked clean rooms, amenities and location. However, the check-in process was unfortunately quite frustrating.
The staff member at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and short with all the guests. While we understand being short-staffed can be challenging, her passive-aggressive tone and lack of assistance were disappointing.
In our case, she refused to check in my husband even though the reservation was under my name. This caused unnecessary stress, especially since we had a 1 year old child with us. It would have been much more helpful if she had offered solutions, like explaining alternative check-in options.
Despite this experience, we did enjoy our stay. However, some improvements in customer service training, especially regarding handling busy periods and communication, would be beneficial.
