short taxi ride from the airport and easy to walk to Sea Cathedral and the old town walking tour. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I had to ask for a mattress topper as the bed, though comfortable, was a little too firm for me, this was done promptly. Room was on first floor overlooking the courtyard, some music heard till 11pm or so but it didn't bother us as not from our hotel. Large bathroom with rainfall shower. We ate in various restaurants which were all close by as the hotel is centrally situated a few steps from the Passeig de Born shopping area. We also ate in the hotel dining room on our last night (sadly it rained so couldn't eat in the gorgeous outdoor courtyard) and the waiters were excellent and food very tasty, better than one of the highly recommended restaurants we tried. The Tiramisu was made at the table and was huge, enough for 4, nice wines and reasonably prices. Breakfast was buffet style and had enough choices to suit most tastes. Very good hotel in an excellent location.

…Alles Super..!!..Ausser kein Warmes Wasser zum …!
Super zentral…!!..unser zimmer war sehr geräumig (105) …Das Frühstück war OK…Hatte schon bessere, aber die vom Service waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend…!! …etwas kleines gab es doch zu bemängeln…als wir ankamen am ersten Tag und uns auf eine warme Dusche freuten, wurde uns mitgeteilt das es kein warmes Wasser gäbe da der Beuler defekt war…das war sehr schade…! ..Leider gab es auch keine Reduktion oder etwas zur gutmachung von der Bar aufs Haus..das währe das mindeste gewesen…!!!

If you’re looking to stay in Palma and want a beautiful hotel in a prime location to reach all the sights, then I would fully recommend Hotel Born! We could not have asked for a better hotel to be honest. It was clean, had friendly staff and was so close to the main shopping district where there were loads of places to choose to eat from. And when we wanted something a bit less touristy, we were able to walk less than 15 mins to other parts of the town.

Perfekt läge, mitt i stan. En mysig innegård för såväl frukost som bar och middag. Stort rum med gott om plats. Ingen hiss, men personalen bar väskorna både upp och ner, strongt.

The courtyard is very noisy due to the restaurant and bar there. If your room is on the courtyard side of the building it will be loud.

I’ve been staying here for many years - long before it became so posh. It is no longer the low-cost option it was due to becoming a 4* hotel, but the staff and location (obviously!) are as good as ever. I’m not so keen on the ‘mood music’ they now have in the upstairs lounge - it doesn’t really match the 16th-century interior. The new bar in the central courtyard was closed when we were there, so I was unable to try that. The dark green walls are very stylish and the improved aircon is most welcome.

Beautiful historic palace converted into this fantastic hotel. All staff (including the cleaning staff) couldn't be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location in Palma Old Town. Amazing breakfast and fine dining in the evening if required. Our second time at this hotel and won't be out last. A great treasure in Palma.

Beautiful hotel situated in the heart of Palma Staff in the hotel and restaurant were wonderful. Recommend you eat in the courtyard restaurant. Great food and atmosphere. The only downside for me was the small double bed.

From the moment we arrived the service was wonderful. Unfortunately, I didnt get the name of the man who checked us in, but upon hearing it was my husband's birthday, he arrived at our room 5 minutes later with a bottle of cava and 2 glasses, a lovely touch and much appreciated. Beautifil room in a beautiful setting. Great location for shopping and restaurants, everything walkable. The courtyard where the bar is situated is a beautiful setting for pre dinner drinks. We had a truly wonderful stay and will definitely be returning.

Pleasantly Better Than I Expected
Really Amazing Service as soon as the receptionist saw us by the door. I was so surprised that he greeted us and even carried two heaving suitcases from the entrance then up the stairs to our room. That was such a great way to start our day since we had traveled from Cala Millor to Palma. Reception was super friendly and really informative and we got a map of the city. Room was great with a view of the courtyard where the restaurant is. I requested the balcony view and the hotel delivered which was a bonus. Bathroom was clean and fresh, the handwash smelled amazing and so did the shampoo, bodywash and conditioner. Towels were fresh and clean rolled right next to the shower. Bed was soo nice to sleep on, and the AC was a big plus. Loved the breakfast in the courtyard, served from 08:00-11:00 AM We had to leave the next day and we checked out at 12 but wanted to leave our suitcases and the receptionist took the bag right next to the reception desk because I was paranoid of the bags getting taken. We came back around 19 and the bags were right where they were. All in All such a lovely stay.

The property is an old Moroccan house with the beautiful inner courtyard and nice old furniture in nooks and crannies. It is a quiet place to stay right in the Old District next to great restaurants. There is no elevator although the staff can help bring up your luggage. We stayed on the third floor. Tricky place to get to. We saw taxis bringing people from the airport. We had our car and came off the 10 pm ferry. We also knew there was no parking so found a spot and then scrambled on foot to find the hotel. Gps not so good since there are so many little laneways. Get a city map instead. From there we did day trips to Rafa Nadal’s Museum (saw him practicing) and beaches at the tip of the island with a couple of castles along the way. Well worth having a car. The countryside is muy hermoso.
