This is the second time i stayed here. Very Clean ,Quite ,Great Location. Next Door to Pier Park and Hooked restaurants.

The dryer make a lot of noise but they let me use another ones it is good . I think the toilet has leaking because the noise at night time

For the price we paid I thought I’ll get a nice room . Just so you know we stayed at Tower 2 room 1805 , very dirty , furniture very old , the walls need to be painted . The room definitely needs updated, and appliances changed. Also happened to see the housekeeper walking with just a bleach bottle, no cleaning towels or paper towels. We are assuming she just used our used towels to wipe surfaces. Very gross!! No wonder the room is dirty . I had to scrub the fridge handle with the sponge and all came out!! That means it wasn’t cleaned for a while. I understand that not all the rooms are like that , my review is specifically on this room .I feel sorry we chose this hotel , Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, I’ll take my business somewhere else!

Outside property was clean. Pool too close to condos so kids would try to throw things from their floors into the pool. Any type of liquids. Not all elevators worked so very busy with long wait times. Great views from the condo!

Trouble checking in for parking pass, would not accept Canadian postal code, woman on the desk did a work around but did not explain parking in detail, at time of booking no one explained it was bike week, noise was extreme in our bedroom had to use earplugs to sleep

Calypso Resort is fine, Just wished we would have had more communication when checking in. When booking, I let the property know that we would be arriving between one and two. When I got the parking pass, I noticed it was good from 2 o’clock on, so I assumed that we could check in at two. Not the case! We got there at two and the door code would not work, so I called Panama getaways and they said it was because check in time was not until 4 PM. Panama getaways should inform their customers what their check in time is, even if it is not the same time the garage pass is good for!

NEVER AGAIN!
The room was nasty! There was a bag of dirty towels and linens left in the room, I didn’t know they were dirty until I stuck my hands in it trying to find sheets for the pull out couch. Took it down to the front desk and the lady said oops the maid must have left it then was unable to give me clean linens for the bed until the next day. I went to use the blender and it was sticky with some kind of red juice all over it, clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The beds were awful. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room, again had to wait until the next day to get one. There was a light in one of the bathrooms that was going out and it buzzed and flickered every time you turn it on. That never got fixed. The staff is incredibly rude. The entire stay was terrible and everything was such an inconvenience! They act like this place is the freaking four seasons when in reality it’s more like the best western, and to top it off the resort patrol tried to give me a parking ticket because it took us too long to pack up our car at checkout! While he clearly watched us the entire time trying to pack our luggage rack in 100° temperatures. We never once walked away from our vehicle, we definitely wasn’t trying to park in the 15 minute spots all day, and we had to pack it there because the luggage rack wouldn’t fit in the parking garage. He seriously said well I should have had you towed! The only good thing about this place is the location. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

I enjoyed the look and feel of the property. Right on the beach and close to Pier Park entertainment. The downside was that the air-conditioning was down for 1.5 days while I was there. Luckily the weather was nice, thus getting a nice breeze.

Bed was a Queen, not a king. Pillows and bed were terrible, HOWEVER, the communication and quick responses were great. They brought us new pillows and the other things that we needed that the room was lacking. View and location can’t be beat. Elevators were awful and took forever and the parking garage is very low and seemed to give everyone problems when entering and leaving. I wish the bed was more comfortable, but overall, we had a great time and I’d stay at the Calypso again. The service really made up for what was lacking. Rachel, one of the house keepers, was so kind and apologetic, and did everything she could to ensure we had what we needed once we made are complaints known.

We have stayed here before and no issues. But this last time the was terrible. The bathrooms were so dirty, the master bed as bugs or something because we wake up with rashes all around our bodys, the fans were so durty also. Looks like who is cleaning here , never do her job. Since we can clearly see the bathroom nasty, . Also the balcony tiny tablet was durty with human blood, also the windmill kitchen wasn't working, I'll definitely not going to recomend this place again. So disappointed

The condo was not cleaned well. The bedding in the master was sandy. The bunk beds had stains on the sheets and comforter, then my son found food under his fitted sheet on the top bunk. The floors felt greasy and sandy, so it was gross to walk on barefoot. The furniture was pretty beat up and the couch was sandy when we got there. Out of the 4 tv remotes, only one had batteries and all four remotes had no back on them. The air pump in the closet (to blow up rafts) did not have batteries, so it was useless. The AC went out our last night there. The master shower was filthy. The shower curtain was covered in black mold and there was leftover shower gel/shampoo all over the walls from the previous guests. Throw rugs in the bathroom and kitchen were disgusting and needed to be thrown out. It was hardly decorated so it did not feel very homey at all. Beach chairs are not included in this condo either. We paid 55$ a day for two of their chairs on the beach. The main light in the kitchen was burnt out so we had hardly any light in the kitchen. It was not worth the amount of money we paid to stay here for the week.
