The condo we stayed in needed attention. Toilet was dirty, floor was coming up, very dated. Not worth what we paid at all.

The rental company never emailed me the information to check-in. they were impossible to get in touch with and then when I finally reached them, I had to drive there offices off-site to get the parking permit, etc. Made check-in take forever and was very frustrating. they said the email must have gone to span. Nope. They just never sent it. Nightmare. Do not book through Panama Gateways

The owners need to replace the dryer and stove. And they provided a charcoal grill that was not allowed to be used so while grilling we were told to put it out. Overall we had a nice stay. The resort was wonderful.

Edgewater was our "go to" vacation spot years ago and never had a problem. This time, the condo was not cleaned well (our feet were black within minutes of walking on the tile). We had multiple issues with the unit, most of which were not resolved while we were there. We would choose another resort in the future.

Highly Disappointing Accommodation
First, the unit is very dated and had an odd smell. The furniture, comforters, pillow ca sees, rugs, carpet, are all dated. The old fashioned curtains in kitchen window allow for someone on the outside to see completely through the unit to the living (beware). The TV in the secondary bedroom only picked up a game show channel. There were roaches in the kitchen (and inside fridge) and ants in the bathroom (everywhere). The water pressure in the toilets were very low. And lastly, if you plan on doing any work or streaming, being a hotspot with you, as the internet available in the unit is extremely slow even with only one device connected to it.

We enjoyed our staff at Edgewater Golf Villa.Lots of swimming pools which my kids loved.The Villa which we stayed was clean and spacous for the five of us that stayed.We would definitely go back.

Nice room and view. The dryer would take 3 cycles to dry 4 towels, so that would need some work. Otherwise all good.

The condo I rented was 3Br/3Ba, and it was dirty when we arrived. The floors were covered in sand and dirt, the sink in the master bath would not drain, there were cigarette butts on the porch, and dried, caked food on the saucepans. The refrigerator was not working properly, the blackout curtains had obviously been pulled off the walls (and not replaced) in the children's room, and 2 closet doors fell off hinges when opened. I would not consider booking with this company again. The other properties I have stayed in on the Edgewater property (managed by them) were much nicer. This felt like staying in a cheap motel for 10x the price. Lastly, management still has yet to call me back to rectify the situation, and they were not responsive when I called with issues after check in. If you have the opportunity to book with ANYONE else, I would do it.

We love Edgewater and have stayed there multiple times. The resort as a whole is very nice and covers everything you could possibly need when taking a vacation at the beach! Now I will say every room is different. They always have a wonderful amount of space but the beds aren't always comfortable, this time we actually had a comfortable bed, and the only issue was no extra linens for the pull out beds in the living room.

Good location, privacy, security (gated complex)
Spacious apartments with all facilities available including fully equipped kitchen. Though daily room cleaning is not available, it works fine for a short stay. It is a gated community and parking space is available next to the entrance to the building you are staying at. For Panama City it is an important advantage. There is a good restaurant inside the complex (a total of 5 buildings) offering breakfasts, lunches and dinners. All apartments have a beach view and direct exit to the beach.
