Our room was #201 a Junior Suite. Was a great room overlooking the square but.....There was no WIFI, the Jacuzzi Tub did not work and the Roof Top Bar across went Crazy until 5:00am on Saturday - did not sleep. Sunday night it closed at 12:00pm. Would stay again but never on the side facing the square. The pool is fantastic with a beautiful view.

Convenient to Casco Viejo. The valet parking was awesome. Efficient staff. Rooms are clean. Smallish. Will go again to this hotel.

I cant say enough great things about the staff here. So nice, so attentive and SO understanding. Even when my 4 year old dropped his ice cream in their entry way. The hotel is beautiful in its own right but the amazing staff made it magical.

Très bon petit-déjeuner. Au coeur de la ville coloniale qui est très intéressante . Entourée d’excellents restaurants. La vue du dernier étage est très belle. La chambre est si petite qu’il n’y ni bureau ni même une seule chaise. La piscine sur le toît est minuscule . Et la destination Panama est vraiment formidable .

This property was beautiful. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is amazing. We had a great view of the church. There’s so much to walk around and see. The downside is it can be very loud because of the location. The church bells go off and you can hear that. I think due to the age of the building you can hear the rooms next door. They were unable to accommodate a late check out (which is understandable) but a little annoying if you have a later flight. The late check out fee if they could accommodate was more then half of what I paid for a night. I thought that was a bit much. Overall a very nice property.

The restaurant had an interesting menu but they could not get meals to the table at the same time so diners could eat together.

The building is gorgeous. The area is a great historic area, lots of great shops and restaurants. The staff was very hit or miss, either friendly and great or uninterested in being helpful or nice. Initially, I was on the first floor facing the interior and it was rather loud. The very wonderful front desk guy was fantastic and quickly moved me to a room on the 3rd floor which was a million times better. That guy deserves a huge raise for being friendly, kind and efficient. The pool was lovely.

We arrived late to the hotel and only stayed overnight, so we cannot rate too many aspects. It was a beautiful property, and the room was nice except for a surprisingly small bathroom with a shower stall.

There was hair on the walls of the shower. :( The phone in the room kept beeping. I unplugged it and it kept beeping. I had to take it out of the room so I could sleep. I was not able to call the front desk. So I was too tired from my travels and left it outside in the hallway. Other than the service was excellent. I told the front desks about both of these issues. I wish I was given some kind of discount.

We loved staying at Central Hotel. It is right in the centre of the lovely Old Town area and you can walk anywhere! Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The room was nice, comfy bed and good air conditioning. Beautiful roooftop pool and rooftop restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly.

If you choose to stay anywhere else… you’ve made a mistake… the staircase is awesome… I know,,, he’s bragging about a staircase? Yes…. Phenomenal! This neighborhood is where you want to be. Walk everywhere, Uber is great, the nightlife is alright. Safe.

Fabulous
We had a great stay for 5 nights. We received a complimentary upgrade to king bed. 3 balcony ‘s as it was a corner unit. quiet, fine linen, clean and bright. Fantastic shower. very hot during our stay, so nice to have swim before going out for dinner. Lots of restaurants and roof patios nearby.

The perfect location in Casco Viejo
The hotel and the location are perfect. Our only issue was that we (a group of 5) got in a few hours earlier, and unlike other hotels, they wouldn't let us use the amenities unless we paid for an extra day, even though we reserved two rooms. We ended up paying an extra day for one room, but then they didn't allow the other three guests to use or wait in our room until their room was ready. We just got from Rio and had a similar situation and the hotel didn't charge us extra and told us that we could all use the one room available until the second room was ready.

Noisy, beautiful hotel.
Beautiful, historic hotel in the middle of Casco Viejo. Everything walkable. Terrific staff. But noise levels from the central lobby/dining area/evening party area are very disruptive as the music carries throughout the hotel. Noise canceling headphones didn’t even help us sleep.

La habitacion 410 tiene una sola ventana donde no puedes mirar hacia el exterior sin pegarte en la cabeza por la altura del techo. El piso del baño se moja por no tener cortina completa y guarda humedad ya que el extractor no funciona. Solicitamos un secador de cabello (el de la habitacion no funcionaba) nos dijeron vamos de inmediato y nunca llego. El servicio no es el mejor entre otros detalles esperados.

Valet was great but that is the most positive thing I can say. We asked for a roll-away bed for our room and we were brought a plywood plank with a three- inch mattress. It was hard as a rock and impossible to sleep on. Coughing could be heard in the guest room beside us. Walls were very thin. Buffet hot food was not hot.
