This place is amazing! The front desk staffs are so nice and helpful. Breakfast is great with champagne. Best thing is location, u can see chanel and Dior from the hotel. Room size is big I had a great time

El hotel tiene una localizacion increible, cerca de muchas atracciones como el Museo del Louvre, La Opera, La Torre Eiffel, etc. Lo que no me gusto es que estaba la calefaccion puesta, no podia regularla, y habia un calor insoportable. Tenia que dormir con la ventana abierta y el vecindario es muy ruidoso.

The hotel is in the heart of the shopping district of Paris . Very close to all the tourist attractions and the metro. The hotel is very clean and staff are very attentive to their guest needs. We will be back when in Paris again.

A few February days in Paris
I was attending a professional development day in Paris. The venue was located on Place Vendôme, so I initially looked for some nearby hotels and came across Melia Paris Vendôme. The hotel has a multilingual staff, with many guests and staff speaking both French (of course) and Spanish. The room I had was comfortable, with no street view, so it was quiet. The in room facilities were good - reasonable coffee offering and good wi-fi. There was a very large bathroom - with both a bath and separate shower unit and two sinks. The negative to this was that the wc was a separate area at the other end of the room which was very small and had no sink in it. Hotel had a good breakfast offering, although they seemed to be unable to have onions available for an omelette. There is bar food available from 1100 to 2400. It was a pleasant experience and the hotel was located very close to many of the usual tourist attractions of Paris.

This property is nothing like what is displayed on the website. The bathrooms are extremely small and hard to maneuver around. The beds are also super tiny. The heat wasn’t working so at night it was very cold . The hotel was extremely different from what was advertised. Besides the nice location and friendly staff, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Room not ready on check-in - literally turned away from reception despite the fact that it was after 3pm and 38 degrees outside. 2 out of our 3 nights there were no towels available so we had to go out for the evening without showers - in a heatwave! We mentioned this to staff who were pleasant but did not address the problem. Waiting staff at breakfast quite abrupt and unhelpful We usually love Melia hotels but this was the worst one we have stayed in

The room on 5th floor was old and dated, worn carpet, weird toilet which is separate from the main shower and vanity. The pandemic should have been perfect timing to refresh the hotel. With average $350/day, a 4 star hotel room must be presentable. Reception was not as inviting, acts like it was a chore answering questions from guests. They always don’t have any change for big bills for room service. Location is superb, along Rue Cambon & walkable to Lourve.

Melia Vendome has an excellent location in Paris, close to the Lourve, restaurants, gardens and most especially luxury shopping. Chanel and Dior and literally steps away. Rooms were great we booked a junior suite for 3 of us and it had 2 bathrooms which was a nice surprise and quite useful. Rooms are cleaned well daily. My cons are they are stingy with providing water bottles to make coffee in room. Only one comp bottle for the whole stay of 6 nights. I find that a bit ridiculous. Also, no restaurant or bar in hotel. Cafe next door Floetts is good and always busy.

The stand in our closet fell apart and collapsed under the weight of their safe (strong box) and our two pieces of luggage. The guy who fixed it smelt so awful we had to air out the room for the rest of the day. Worst of all they had the nerve to tell us we should not have put more than 10kg of luggage on the luggage rack! It was junk, made of cheap particle board. Substandard.

Pros: - Location, location, location. - Super friendly and helpful staff, seriously great job. Cons: - Old property, the rooms aren’t in great conditions, it really needs refurbishing. - Hard bed and bad pillows. - AC is not available year round. Late April has hot days and since its not considered summer you can’t turn on the AC. Something to take into consideration since its noisy outside for open windows.

Another proof that service has gone down the drain. The bathroom in the bedroom was in terrible shape with mold on wall and extremely small.

Can’t blame COVID any longer
I have often stayed at this hotel and I am afraid this will be the last time. The service was shocking. Seems like the hotel has run out of money. We asked numerous times for supplies - towels, tissues, shower cap, milk, coffee - got none of it, only after begging. The housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The reception staff are friendly enough and the breakfast is good. The towels in the bathroom are frayed. No slippers, no turndown, nothing that the premium room we paid for was given. I understand COVID has affected the hotel business but it has definitely not affected prices charged. We complained a few times and I really did not want to out a negative review on this site but I am afraid the only thing I can say that is positive is the location.

The property is located in the heart of all the best shops in Paris. They are a short cab ride to the Eiffel Tower and Louvre as well. You can't go wrong with this location.

What can I say? Great hotel absolutely in the middle of everything. Service is superb and staff is warm, friendly and so very helpful. Room was small but comfortable. A+ on cleanliness. Considering that this hotel is moderately priced, we got a great value!

The Staff at the Melia were wonderful. This felt like home away from home on our Christmas Week visit to Paris. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday, but most importantly the staff greeted us every time we came in the door....helped us understand how to do things and were generally very friendly. Additionally, the location was absolutely awesome, just two block from Concorde Plaza and a few block from the Louvre, Le Madeline Church and fabulous shopping. I would stay here again in a flash.
