The staff was beyond nice and accommodating! Unfortunately, the rooms need to be updated. The carpet is past the point where they can be deep cleaned to make them look refreshed. Time to tear them out, paint the walls, and do a deep clean.

The app states breakfast included this is the reason I purchased this hotel. The only breakfast was one you had to pay for. Charged a ridiculous amount for incidentals.

Although we do have rates that include the breakfast, you booked our cheapest rate that did not include the breakfast pricing. In the future please be sure that you are aware that Holiday Inn's always have a made to order breakfast and Holiday Inn Express hotels are the brands that provide complimentary breakfast. We also do not charge for incidentals we take an authorization that is returned to you at check out.

Hot room
The room was hot and the air conditioner wasn’t helping. We were told if you set the thermostat below 68 the air would not work. We tried that to no avail. The window would only open about 2 inches. I do get the safety aspect of that. At our request, they provided us a fan which helped a little.

Time for some renovations
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and it continues to downgrade. The room we stayed in (221) has some sort of structural cracking in the wall where the headboards are, the wall paper in the bathroom is peeling and old, the carpet was dirty and the overall presentation of the room itself was old, outdated and rough. The carpets in the hallways leading to the rooms is gross as well and is curling and wavy from who knows what and stained everywhere. It truly needs an upgrade. I did not feel comfortable even looking at the pool area because the rest of the place has gotten so bad over the years. This really needs to be addressed because I will not stay there again and I am guessing others will feel the same way.

Our hotel is currently in the process of beginning our renovation, unfortunately it can be a bit of a long and drawn out process to get started, but we hope that we will get the opportunity to accommodate you in the near future with our brand new renovation and room décor!

My room had not been vacuumed. There was lint on the floor and some kind of “potato chip fries” under the coffee table. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfy with nice sheets. No sheer curtains just blackout. No recycling! Plastic bags in every trash can.

Do not stay here!
I don’t normally leave negative reviews when I stay hotels. Especially holiday ends are usually have a really good experience, but this one was the worst experience we’ve ever had. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We had people arguing all night long above us. I had brought this to the attention of the person working at the desk. They did not suggest moving us, or anything of the sort. Also, the restaurant was closed most of the time that we were there, which is understandable if it’s short staffed, but advertisement showed that it was gonna be open. The lack of customer service was absolutely horrendous. Nobody smiled. Nobody welcomed us. They seemed completely annoyed that we even showed up. Never experienced this kind of service in my life. I can absolutely say we will never be back to this particular Holiday Inn. Also, somebody’s phone was ringing for at least eight hours during the night. Also, the wash machine was either not working correctly. It was vibrating our room all night long. We decided not to even say anything to the front desk as we were not treated with respect at all when we checked in. They acted like nothing even matter that we were even there. Spent almost $600 never again.
