I had a HORRIFIC experience at Trebel Service Apartment, Pattaya. The booking was for a "Superior Double Room" and the details on the website showed (still shows) that it had a kitchenette. The pictures on the website for the room type also showed photos of a kitchenette on the website (they still do).
The address on the website is given as "111/52 Moo 10, Soi Buakhao". The map on the website shows the location to be on Soi Buakhao, between Soi Lengkee and Soi LK Metro. This still remains on the website.
The reason I booked the hotel was because I wanted a kitchen and preferred to stay close to Soi LK Metro and Soi Diana/Soi Lengkee.
I could not locate the hotel once I arrived at the location displayed in the map. I called the hotel multiple times and received no answer. I had to call the Hotels.com customer care number to get connected to the property manager. He gave directions in broken English that I could not understand. Finally, I realized that the location was completely different from that shown on the map on the website. The property is actually on South Pattaya road, which is far away from Soi LK Metro / Soi Lengkee.
Also after checking in, the room that was given to me had no kitchenette. The property manager also refused to give me a room with a kitchenette. As neither of my conditions for booking were met, I checked out immediately. No refund was given.
Hotels.com should be ashamed to list a property knowingly deceiving clients.
