직원들도 다들 친절했고 방도 넘 멋져요 영어로 진행되는 가이드 투어를 듣고 청팟제? 이 맨션을 지은 사람에 대한 설명을 듣고 묵으니 더 느낌이 새로웠네요ㅎㅎ 조식도 맛있었어요 특히 죽 맛있습니다:) 호텔 내 인디고 식당에서 점심식사도 했는데 좋았어요 다시 가고 싶어요ㅎㅎ

다시는 안가요
10월 초에 하룻밤 묵었는데 그 전날 묵었던 맞은편에 있는 에디슨 호텔과 너무 많이 비교 됐어요. 건너편 에디슨 호텔은 정말 최고의 서비스와 시설이었고 이곳은 서비스, 특히 직원의 친절도는 0점을 주고 싶습니다. 인도계 여직원과 남직원은 매우 불친절 하였고 그나마 화교 여직원 한명은 그들에 비해서는 낫더군요. 조식은 그럴싸해보였지만 솔직히 그렇게 맛있지는 않았고 방에 놓어주는 생수는 일회용 병에 담겨있지 않고 그냥 물통에 담겨져 있어서 찝찝해서 입에 대진 않았어요. 냉장고에 있는 몇 개의 음료는 무료로 마실 수 있었어요. 어린이 한명이 있는 3인 가족으로 수영장과 연결되는 방을 잡았는데 약 650링깃, 한국돈 20만원 정도였는데 수영장 쪽 뒷문은 열자마자 모기가 열마리는 넘게 방안에 한 번에 들어와서 너무 당황했고 그 뒤로는 다시는 문을 열지도 않았고 수영도 포기했어요. 딱 하나 좋은건 파란색 벽이 애 사진 찍으니 이쁘게 나오긴 하네요. 이번 말레이시아에서 10일을 보냈는데 제가 묵었던 호텔들 중에 직원들 태도는 최하위였고 방 내부도 사진처럼 예쁘지 않았고 다시 갈 생각은 없습니다.

As you can see from most of our reviews, this is not the normal experience which other guests have when they visit us, and I would greatly appreciate if you could contact me directly at hhsm@cheongfatttzemansion.com so that I can explore what went wrong with your stay and ensure that it doesn’t happen in the future. Glass bottles are used in our rooms as part of our effort to reduce single-use plastic bottles. We do sell plastic water bottles in the bar if you had wanted. It is of utmost importance to us that our guests have the best possible experience here, so I hope that you will contact me and we can somehow redeem ourselves in the future.

It's an antique hotel that's worth a try. The breakfast is delicious and it is good to take pictures with the background of the hotel. 한 번 정도 숙박해볼만한 고풍스런 호텔입니다. 조식도 맛있고, 호텔 이곳저곳을 배경으로 사진찍기 좋습니다.

분위기 있는 호텔
일반인들은 유료 투어를 받으러 오는 중국 고택이라 정말 아름답고 분위기가 좋습니다. (숙박객들은 무료로 투어 참석을 할 수 있더군요) 매일 나뭇잎에 메세지를 써서 떡과 함께 제공하는 서비스도 좋았고 마지막날 아침 일찍 체크아웃하고 투어버스가 오지 않아 한참을 기다리자 투어사에 전화해서 확인도 해주고 과일도 싸주시더라구요 :) 바로 옆에 나이트마켓 음식점(?)이 있어서 야식 먹기에도 좋고 위치도 좋아요. 정말 만족한 호텔이었습니다.

호텔도 너무 예쁘고 좋았습니다. 사진 찍기도 좋고, 위치도 좋고. 주위에 마켓도 있고 엄청 편했어요. 호텔 방이 몇개 안되서 그런지 친절하기도 엄청 친절하시고 관광지로도 이용되어 그런지 보안도 꽤 좋아요. 안전한 느낌이에요~ 다 좋은데 호텔 안이 좀 어둡고 최신 호텔과 다른 느낌이랍니다. 아무래도 옛날것. 아 그리고 이게 어두워서 말리기가 힘들어 그랬는지.. 이불에서는 좀 덜마른 그 퀘큐ㅔ한 냄새가 나긴 나더라구요~ 못참을 정도는 아니었어요. 일하시는 분들도 넘 좋고 대만족!

We loved staying at The Blue Mansions. After spending a few days walking the streets of George Town, it was a pleasure to come back each day. The building and interior are stunning, and the service provided by the staff is first-class. It was a real treat to have our own Jacuzzi bath and to step outside with access to the pool. Had this hotel been anywhere else in the world, i am sure we would be paying triple the price, which is well outside of our range. We stayed in the 50's room with our 13-year-old; we had ample space, plenty of wardrobe space, and loved the private garden access at the back. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and looking after us.

A beautiful and unique place to stay. We loved our room. Keep in mind that there are daily tours. When we first arrived there was a tour going on and while the tours do not enter the private guest areas, we were a bit alarmed at the noise level, and also that we were not able to sit in the bar area for a cold drink. However, once the tour was over everything quieted down and we able to enjoy the space. Our room was on ground level, but our friends had booked a suite which was up a very steep and long flight of stairs; another thing to keep in mind. But the suite was huge and spacious, as was our room. The staff was perfectly lovely.

Hotel magnifique rempli d’histoire. On se sent vraiment à l’époque de la dynastie royale . Très propre . Petit déjeuner excellent ( surtout le yogourt maison ) jus frais pressé. Il y avait même du pain sans gluten. Piscine chauffée. Le spas dans la chambre un bel ajout. On a adoré.

This property is unlike any other. A gorgeous mansion lovingly restored by a couple committed to giving it life after years of disrepair. It's simply stunning and exudes feng shui! The only negative is that they cannot control what gets developed around them (or doesn't) so it's near both high-rise monsters, and some run-down old properties.

The hotel is very nice with nice design. Staff are so friendly and helpful and provide a lot of background info of the hotel. Breakfast and free briefing session included. Room is tidy and clean. But the hot water supply in the shower room is not stable indeed. Other than that everything is great

Best stay in Malaysia!
We stayed for 3 nights on our tour of Malaysia and were wowed out by whole experience. The hotel is in a fabulous location with Chinatown, the harbour and many other attractions within walking distance (or accessible by free CAT bus) The rooms were extremely comfortable and steeped in history. The breakfast was delicious and our sampler menu dining experience was a real treat. Two areas however really stood out; Firstly, the hotel is also a museum and is full of amazing history. A free tour for residents is provided and we were lucky to go on the Friday morning tour that was led by the owner Loh Lim who was informative and passionate about the property history and renovation. I would recommend doing the tour early in your visit so that you can appreciate the finer points of the hotel. The greatest asset of the hotel however is the staff who were fabulous. They were super attentive and friendly...if only the staff at Raffles in Singapore and The Majestic in KL could match the staff at the Blue Mansion! Remember, it is a museum and a live renovation project so it's not the super swanky experience of some of the other 4 and 5 star hotels on our travels but the service and atmosphere was outstanding! Thank you to the team for a magical experience.

Very nice restoration of a grand property. The staff are all very thoughtful and helpful. An example was making breakfast boxes for us because our checkout was very early. Food on the property is quite good. It is a small hotel only 18 rooms so there is limited staff sometimes you need to find them but they are always very helpful. An annoying issue for me was their automated checkin which asks for a lot of information including a pic of your passport. The software doesn’t always allow you to enter information (I used my iPhone) . The number listed to call also seems is not wifi calling friendly so high charges were required.

If you're looking for a unique place to stay, The Blue Mansion is it! The mansion itself is beautiful and the staff were very nice. It's walking distance to a lot of the attractions Georgetowm offers and close to the ferry if you happen to be coming through that way. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Penang :)

Its a wonderful building with very pleasant staff. Limited food options, but many local places to eat. Rooms are lovely, with lots of space. Road noise can be an issue, but wasnt for me.

The service is great and it's an excellent experience to stay at the Unesco heritage building. The only downside is that there is a neighbourhood food court with karaoke facility that can occasionally be too loud for us.
