hotel was ok, but i checked in at night (the staff not really friendly) but it's fine i guess because i booked on 31 dec, i know how it feels to work in new year's eve (maybe not in the mood to work :) ) but the thing that make me difficult = it was no towel (not sure it's since beginning or it just started due to covid-19 pandemic)

We were given 3 very rundown family rooms with air-con not working, door cannot open easily which need male adult to pull inwards. One of the room with reflecting sound by door never close properly according to the hotel staffs. The corridors of the hotel rooms are so humid that can be suffocated. The staffs mentioned that we have booked the old wing which internet posting did not mentioned old wing or new wing of this hotel. Reception staffs are rude and no patience. The manager, Mr Ow tried his best to settle us with New Wing but need to top up even though we are offered to downgrade to one standard and deluxe room with additional mattress not extra bed. The reception refused to give us a bill stated what are the top up in details. They just issued a standard payment voucher stated upgrading rooms. This is cheating. This hotel cannot rate at 3 stars. No amenities around the hotel.

Good Value, I would stay again
Front desk staff helpful and speak English well. Room was large and bright. Cleaning staff very good. TV reception not good. There is an excellent cafe around the corner called DoubleShot. Can walk from hotel to the Botanic Gardens in around 12 minutes. Can also walk to shopping centres on Gurney Drive in around 18 minutes. Overall, I would stay in this hotel again. Good value for standard room

hotel yg sesuai untuk percutian keluarga
sangat menyelesakan . Penyambut tetamu yang peramah . selain itu, keadaan bilik yang sesuai untuk percutian keluarga . Pada waktu malam , keadaan sangat menenangkan . Kelemahannya cuma WIFI . ENJOYY !!!! ^_^

Wifi connection is weak and the first check in day was unable to connect. Meanwhile, the door seems like broken and need to push hard when open & close the door. Overall is ok.

good to stay, will come again
the room clean and comfortable for us (2 person standard room). free wife and the speed fast, my wife enjoy movie and browsing while waiting me when out for meeting. short drive to Gurney Plaza. . For instance, the room I stayed in had complementary tea & coffee sachets, but the kettle was rusted. Please change for the new one

Big Family Room
This was my 2nd times stay at this hotel. Even this hotel not modern not famous than others but I still prefer to stay here. This hotel provide a comfort, big and clean family room with reasonable price that hard to get from others.

soundproof for this hotel is bad....even can hear outside road. Is very old fashion hotel. The lobby is OK....but the room really not interested. Even the toilet bowl is weird.

Not worth its price
The standard rooms are really bad. The pictures are misleading. We went to the hotel and was dissapointed with the room. Later we spoke to reception on the room condition. She said that the pictures was taken ages ago. When we wanted to upgrade to deluxe room the price was way more expensive than what was on the website. Apparently walk-in rate to the hotel is usually expensive and she has to change us walk-in price. I wanted to speak to the manager and the receptionist kept telling she manager is not around. Finally, I called Expedia and thanks to Lecthumi from Expedia she managed to sort out this issue with the hotel. I paid the website price and manage to upgrade to deluxe (which again isn't the greatest room but definitely better then the creepy standard room). Definitely won't go back to this hotel again. Choose it for convinience but the hotel definitely need to do something about the room and the educate their staff on customer service.

Clean, comfortable and near to Gurney Drive.
It is a clean and comfortable hotel. The 2 queen size beds are comfortable. It is still spacious with the 2 queen size beds. It is only a short drive to Gurney Drive and Plaza Gurney. Lots of local hawker food in Pulau Tikus which is also only a short drive away.

Was given a room that's not fit for staying, as it was not as in the picture, and the room had terrible smell. Had to request for another room, and was given a new renovated room (similar to what was in the picture when doing booking), although they cannot fulfil my request of having a queen bed, instead of 2 single beds. The water was yellowish as well, and had to get the tap running for a while before the water became clear

It's in good location but along the Main Street so noisy in the early morning.

Good for short stay
Overnight stay. No nearby shops, difficult to get public transport to town & tourist spots. Hotel was old & facilities aged.

Check in time facing problem with the reception.
Took more then 30 minutes to check in course said that I'm booking 1 room instead of 2 rooms. Reception don't know how to handle the sitiution. Don't want to accept my copy(Expedia), keep on telling me they got the right copy from Expedia.
