This is a unique property in the middle of a National Park. Yes the road leading up to it is winding and narrow and rutted but again it is in the middle of nowhere and we have driven roads like this all over Italy to get to beautiful places. Some of the outdoor areas are not as manicured as I’m sure they once were but overall the surrounding scenery more than makes up for it. The restaurant has a limited excellent menu and the team headed by Simone is very welcoming. Also enjoyed his choice of music! We found the room very clean with beautiful views from the outdoor space although the bathroom could use a refresh as quite dated. The sunsets were beautiful followed by an amazing night sky. If you love to be removed from the hustle and bustle, eat good food and drink great wine have incredible views but be close enough to Italian towns full of incredible history then you should stay here.

The road to the hotel from ASSISI side is very difficult to drive, especially in the night. Because all the way is through a forest, 12 km of narrow slalom bumpy road + 2 km of dirt road

Bonito y buen hotel, ubicación no simpática
Lindo hotel dentro de una reserva con preciosas vistas. El restaurante tiene muy buenas opciones para la cena y el servicio es estupendo. Lo único malo del hotel es el camino desde Assisi por el cerro y con muchas curvas y que demora por lo menos 20-25 minutos para llegar a Assisi. (El 1er día viajamos a sugestión del waze por un camino no asfaltado y bastante no simpático )

Great location in the woods
This hotel is very far from Assisi’s train station, and you have to pay €60 to get there. But it is very nice. Between the mountains.

Soggiorno incantevole, posto molto bello. Personale gentile e disponibile. Indicato per weekend di relax, per rigenerarsi dopo un lunga settimana e vivere un'esperienza nella natura. ottimo anche il ristorante e la colazione.

Beautiful gem of a place hidden in the hills of Assisi. The drive up to the property is a 20 minute ride of narrow switchbacks around the hills, but once there, the service was superb and accommodations were superb. Forgiven is the man on duty who asked my wife for her passport later on day 1 when she was outside our room, The breakfast was lovely, the views breathtaking and the hike through the farm on the same grounds where you can view the free range pigs, cattle and donkeys was a nice diversion. Thanks for the great experience!

Splendido ma Migliorabile!
Splendido casale immerso nel verde. Una strada non proprio agevole per arrivare in loco( sopratutto per una donna in stato di gravidanza come me !)Più di 600 ettari di natura dove si può ammirare l'allevamento allo stato brado di vari animali ( per uso alimentare) , sbizzarrirsi tra vari percorsi di trekking e 2 splendide piscine( migliorabili dal punto di vista della manutenzione! La " fossa del lupo" aveva molte piastrelle staccate e diverse chiazze di alghe. Mentre la piscina in hotel non era molto curata, (ombrelloni assolutamente da cambiare!) Le camere sono spaziose e curate nei minimi dettagli , unica pecca, mancano le prese della corrente! Noi non ne avevamo né in bagno né accanto al letto! Vasca idromassaggio .. vecchiotta. La chicca della struttura secondo me é stata il ristorante: Meravigliosa vista, personale splendido attento alle esigenze di ogni cliente e cibo divino! Prezzi un po' sopra la media ma ne vale veramente la pena. Nel complesso una struttura meravigliosa a cui basterebbe veramente poco per essere al top!

hotel boven Assisi
De vakantie was prachtig, rustig hotel, geen auto’s, geen fietsers, geen vliegtuigen, RUST. Maar ... het ligt aan het eind van een hobbelige, 13 kilometer lange, smalle, steile weg boven Assisi - elke keer ruim 25 minuten.. Het hotel leek de glorietijd voorbij (lege bloembakken, onkruid in de perken, oud sanitair, slecht onderhouden zwembad, súper gehorige kamers, maar fantastische bedden en wel heerlijk gegeten.

L'hôtel se trouve dans une zone rurale qui peut être difficile d'accès selon les conditions météo (piste de montagne non goudronnée et très sinueuse). A noter que son emplacement est éloigné de tout (il faut compter au moins 50' de route pour arriver à Assises). Cette zone montagneuse n'est presque pas couverte par le 3G/4G (important si on utilise son smartphone comme navigateur pour arriver). D'une façon générale le niveau de cet hôtel est de catégorie moyenne. Les 4 étoiles affichées sont surévaluées par-rapport aux services réels.

Client gentil nous sommes dans le parc de Subasio, la route est un peu tortueuse, mais si vous allez la bonne, pour arriver à Assise cela prend 20 minutes. Nous vous remercions de votre commentaire et nous espérons vous accueillir de nouveau à l'avenir.

Struttura immersa nel verde
Che fosse immersa nel verde lo sapevo, che fosse un 4 stelle e quindi che il livello fosse alto lo immaginavo ma quando io e mia moglie siamo arrivati abbiamo subito respirato un'aria fantastica Personale gentilissimo, camera fantastica, paesaggi mozzafiato, tranquillità incredibile spezzata solo fal cinguettio degli uccellini. E poi che dire del livello del ristorante? Davvero da gourmet... alto livello sia nel personale sia nella qualità del cibo. Aggiunfo una chicca poco pubblicizzata ma davvero fantastica: a circa un km dall'albergo in alto in cima alla montagna hanno una struttura con piscina giardino e una vista incredibile specie al tramonto da cartolina. Veramente tutto bellissimo. io e mia moglie ne siamo entusiasti.

Luxe in een landelijke omgeving.
Heel goed bevallen. Restaurant is ook goed. Na een paar dagen wil we wel weer eens iets anders eten door kaart welke langer gehanteerd word. Prachtig uitzicht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembaden zijn uitmuntend.

Dramatisk og spektakulært i ville vakre Ubria! Om du tror du har kjørt feil fra Assisi - er det fortsatt noen km. igjen. Ikke kjør dit med lav sportsbil, men all reise er verd opplevelsen! Svært hyggelig personal.

Great setting but hotel a bit tired!
Had a five day stay at Le Silve. Beautiful setting but just a bit too remote for us. Some warning about the access road would have been helpful. Hotel looked a bit tired and service has room for improvement. Food was nice but menu did not change during our five-day stay which was a bit disappointing. The stunning setting will stay in memories for ever though

the hotel proper, restaurant and staff are superb, the grounds reflex the economic troubles of Italy. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing opportunity to spend some time with nature this is it.

Perfect for what we wanted. Friendly staff. Good food. Beautiful facilities. Great rural setting. You have to drive some miles through narrow, winding roads to get there. If you don't mind that then book it.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location
This hotel is located about 11km from Assisi, along a country road. It is an absolutely splendid location, overlooking the countryside, with Assisi in the distance. The service was quite good and the restaurant is excellent. The only caveat is that you will need a car to get there. If you have a vehicle, this hotel is an excellent respite and a wonderful base for exploring Umbria.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
Very unfriendly staff. Housekeeping services poor. Hotel not clean. Food not fresh. Service rushed. Expedia should tell members that this hotel is poorly located. You must drive 20 km to get to Assisi on a very poor road with frequent stops so very inconvenient for sight seeing.

Best hotel ever, i use to travel a lot in expensive hotels, this is one of the best!!! The owner ever picked us up at the station because there were no taxis, food even better than in bologna, room sooo cozy, nice, snob and clean, wifi, music jazz at hall, warm light....if dont visit this you haven't lived yet!!!

Ein Traum - die pure Ruhe
Ich würde nach wie vor sagen, dass das Romatik Hotel Le Silve nach wie vor zu einem der schönesten Plätze in Italien zählt. Wer die pure Ruhe sucht und Lust auf tolles Essen in romantischer Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben dieses Jahr unseren Besuch Nr. 6 in diesem Haus verlebt und sind nach wie vor einfach begeistert.
