Indoor pool, clean, room bathrooms are small need some updating other than that great place to stay.

Dust on surfaces in room unacceptable. Mold (lots of it) in the outdated shower unit is inexcusable and very unhealthy.

This hotel was about a mile from town, but I don't mind walking. It's quiet, clean and has a pretty good continental breakfast. Plus, the staff is very nice and accommodating.

This was our first stay in this hotel, which was pleasant. The front desk girl was really sweet and thoughtful and the breakfast lady greeted us warmly and gave introductions. I would choose this hotel again if I go to Charlevoix next time!

We stayed this past weekend and the Staff, Service and Hotel exceeded our expectations. Amanda, Jesse and Joslyn all made she we had everything we needed throughout our stay. From check in to check out it was a breeze and a great stay! Would stay here again especially for the location and friendly staff!

The main negative that I have is that it is too expensive for the time of year I stayed there. I obviously misunderstood the pricing because I thought the $200 was for two nights, instead of per night. I was especially irritated because the following weekend, the prices appeared to be more in the $100 per night range. I was on the road for 11 days and this was, by far, the most expensive hotel, and that included my stay on Mackinac Island, and a beach side hotel in Traverse City. Will not stay there again or recommend it unless other hotels are checked for better pricing.

We were on a non smoking floor and someone was obviously smoking pot. You could smell it in the hall. Thankfully we couldn’t smell it in our room. When I mentioned it to the front desk she told me there was nothing she could do about it. (She might not have been able to personally but hotel management should back her up on this.) Excuse me? Sure you can. You ask them to stop and charge them a cleaning fee. Even if it’s a vape. Yes, you can smell those. Because of this I would not stay here again.

Front desk was very cordial and helpful with an upgrade and with dining suggestions. Showers should be replaced. The rooms are not at all soundproof.

I was very upset with how dirty out room Was. The comforter had yellow stains all over. Carper was dirty and we had aunts on the floor that crawled in bed and clothes. There was dust on top of the headboard, microwave and tv. We paid 320$ for one night and I am very disappointed .

Disgusting Place to Stay
The entire hotel smells like must and mold. The room had a horrible mold odor. The bathroom floor of our room had black mold over 40% of it. The pool and hot tub had mold everywhere. There was a bunch of algae around the pool on the pool floor. The hot tub was not functioning. The carpet within the hotel seems over a decade old. The drop ceilings sagged in the pool room. Staff did not respond to the “ring bell for service” within a reasonable time. Instead opted to finish their personal conversation in the back amongst peers.

Staff was nice. Lights were flickering in pool area, and the barrings for hot tub were going bad because it had a loud hum/noise coming from breaker room when jets were on for hot tub. Mattress and pillows were lumpy *didnt sleep well* but continental breakfast was decent You get what you pay for. In a pinch, Id stay again but it wouldnt be my first choice.
