If you do not mind walking you can find markets within 1k, otherwise there are always taxies going by. Streets are narrow so keep your head on a swivel. The taxies well try to sell tours. Have fun.

A mixed bag, probably fine for a night or two. I chose this place as I noticed breakfast was included although what was an offer was disappointing. Rice and veg with orange squash instead of juice. I ended up going elsewhere. Room was fine, the fridge stunk though and could do with a decent clean. The front desk did a lovely job of my laundry.

Staff were friendly and very helpful! The towels have seen it’s days, the water doesn’t drain in the bathroom, it takes a while - which is not good ! It needs upgrading and the breakfast is ok - you can survive! But it is good for money value! Definitely needs new towels and fix the drainage !

Cambodia is not the value use to be
Very pleasant staff, courteous,helpful,polite,the breakfast I'd give 4 out of ten,there's no other time to get food,the room needs the drapes taken down and washed ,very dirty, bathroom has black mould, Phnom Penh is a dirty filthy city,the hotel is a 5 at most out of ten .

Great hotel that would suit many Westerners.
Excellent hotel with great breakfasts. No problems at all although the bath is a bit of a risk if you are 6 feet tall.

Everything was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special and big THANKS to PM Ratha he is such nice man and looking after his job very well. All hotels need people like him. He found time to help guests in all ways and any time. He helps to us a lot too. Thank you Ratha again and because of you we will recommend the hotel to everyone and we will be happy to back again.

The property was old and dingy. Nothing really stood out about it. It was just OK. If all you need is a place to sleep you can't beat the price. I was a bit annoyed because I could not use my credit card to pay. I had to go to an ATM and get money which cost me additional money. The English of the front staff was not good so communication was difficult.

Do not frequent this hotel.
This hotel was not very good at all. I booked the hotel for two nights. I paid before I arrived. I got there to find that the hotel had been overbooked. They found a different hotel for me, but it didn't have some of the things I like (hot water for example). I even saw someone else arrive and pay for a room after I was told I couldn't have the room I'd all ready paid for. The staff was completely unhelpful. Someone on their staff even broke into my luggage. I found myself sick the final day, and asked if I could stay after the check out time. They said sure and that they wouldn't charge me. Then they did.

If there's one thing you don't get to do much of at this hotel, it's to relax. The walls are paper thin, so between our neighbour showering, the traffic outside, the AC units and people coming and going from the elevator we didn't rest too much. Other than that, the room was in great condition. Breakfast was OK, WiFi was dreadful. If you're lucky with the room location it might be quiet-ish, but I wouldn't recommend for people bothered by noise.

So I don't know why my expectations were high when I was paying 35$ for a night. Maybe it's because I was in Cambodia. The room was not clean. It was not matching the pictures they were showing on expedia. The bathroom was not clean. Their breakfast buffet is very limited. And the food was not good. I really did not enjoy my stay there.

Relax Hotel
Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast mostly Khmer food, buffet style. Hotel's idea of an airport schuttle is to provide a Tuk Tuk or cab for customer to use. $12 from hotel to airport and $15 from airport to hotel. Good location.

Emailed twice for airport pick up. No reply and no pick up. I asked front desk at check in and they could not give an answer.Go to breakfast just after 8, almost everything gone. No restaurant, signs say otherwise but not true. Only breakfast, so be there early. Clean room, pillow unusable. Chambermaid gave us another but still could not use.

Good location for me. Nice cold aircon. :-) I wasn't there each day - just came back nights. Room was well-serviced each day and general hotel service was all good with no problems. I was in 905 on 9th floor so noise was fine although aircon unit outside the sliding balcony door was definitely working away through the night! Hotel is only about four blocks from Rue de Pasteur where there are western-style coffee shops and restaurants - but let's face it, PP is a small city and transport is cheap so everywhere is convenient.

This hotel is a good value for the money. The elevator is slow, so it's best to have a room on the lower floors. Breakfast is very Asian oriented. There are many Chinese tourists that fill the restaurant, so arrive early for breakfast. Staff is helpful and courteous.

Dicey inconvenient and slightly dangerous area. Most staff apathetic. Several scenes in lobby with guests and people coming in off the streets. Hotel staff didn't care. Horrendous breakfast. Cold coffee and a few hard boil eggs. Staff didn't care. Sliding glass door broken and left open one inch on both sides. No ability to close them. I tried 3 rooms. Same in every room?

Relaxing at Relax
A good hotel, close to the city and genocide museum. Upper floors gives a good city view. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself is a good size. Only thing I would recommend is to have a shower curtain.

Head down towards the riverfront where the big building with a big light display is..the area is nice nd lots of photo opportunities..lots nd lots of things are close to relax hotel because of tuk tuk..they will ask for $3 to take you to central market nd the main part of town, royal palace etc..but will do it for $2..just negotiate it first..

Really nice place, lovely staff
It felt like an oasis inside. The staff were universally friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is really lovely in neighborhood that feels rough in a city that still feels devastated. I wish I could have stayed and partaken of more of what was offered...
