We were in town for Baseball's Spring Training like thousands of others. After the game we went to check in. I gave my ID to the clerk, who had this horrid aroma therapy rig on the front desk. It was a little pot of stinky oil with a candle underneath. The whole office reeked. She looked at my ID and said, "we've been trying to reach yo all day. We don't have your room." Then the phone rang and it was someone who was familiar with my cancelled room. They went on and on about how they could not reach me. I was trapped in that stinkhole office for five minutes because she would bot give me my ID back. If there is no room, let me out of there.
The upshot, hotel.com peeps, when offered the option of paying on line or paying upon arrival, pay online. They gave away my room to a walk-in who paid more. Plain and simple. I did not stay here and cannot speak to any part of the property other than that horrible essential oil thing that she was using to pollute the breathing space of every customer. They gave away my room to a customer who paid more. Simple as that. If you go here, pay up front and transact through the night window. Absolutely obnoxious (and noxious) gases in the office.
