this hotel is the worst ever hotel where i stayed. the worst point is dirty and noise from air-conditioner and upper room and next room. the cleanness is worst too, towel is dirty and stain, shower room has fungus. I do not recommend at all.

Great quiet location close to town
We had an excellent stay in this hotel that was right by the beach in a quiet location close to town. Best of both worlds. Good service, relaxing pool, restaurant & bar. Short walk to shops 'quick & cheap tuk tuk ride'. Convenient stores, bars restaurants & pharmacy close by. We had the poolside room so easy for a quick dip. We had free Wi-Fi & breakfast included. Everything you need for a comfortable stay at a great price.

Gebuchtes Zimmer war sehr dunkel, hatte kein Tageslicht, da es unter dem EG lag, mit Ausblick auf Steinwand - sollte Gartenblick sein...man bot uns SOFORT ein "letztes" Zimmer in der 2. Etage an - sonst sei alles ausgebucht...200 Euro auf die Hand mehr, und schon hatten wir ein Zimmer!...Frechheit!!!

Did not want to leave
It's the first time in my life that I didn't want to leave a hotel. I could live there to simply put it. I have never felt more welcome, that all my needs were met and the level of service I received was unparalleled compared to anywhere else I've travelled. The difference was that it was genuine and authentic. It's not your typical high class uppity hotel, but I think it deserves a 5 star rating. It had so much charm and warmth, i am already looking forward to going back. Here's an example: i stayed in Bangkok the previous night and had a Thai meal for the first time and loved it. When in Patong I decided to search for it. I walked 3 hours with no success. When I came back to my hotel I asked the young girl working at the reception where I could find it and she told me they only have it in the local market which was about 30 minutes away. I wasn't about to go as it was already 9 o'clock. When I came back from my tour the following evening, she had gone to get it for me and it was waiting for me. She refused any type of payment for the dish or as gratuity. She did it simply because. True genuine good heart! One last thing, this hotel being at the end of the strip is extremely quiet and away from the bustling activity of Patong beach which made my trip experience even better! I will definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the experience of Patong beach without all the commotion.

Great Location and Breakfast
This hotel was in the perfect spot - right across from the beach, walking distance to everything, and no excess sound at night.There was a strange smell upon entering the room - mentioned in other reviews. However, once the air conditioning was on it went away. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were helpful and kind. The pool was great.

Fabulous!
This hotel is fabulous! The staff is very friendly; they are very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a fantastic pool. It is right across from the beach in a quiet area of Patong Beach, with excellent places to eat right. If we return to Phuket we will stay here again!

Hotel close to the beach
Stayed for 3N 4D, out room was opposite to Lift, requested to change the room, but the staff said the rooms were booked. Whereas, there were very few Guests in the hotel. Breakfast was boring, they served only bread toast, croissant, custard/blueberry pastery, and fresh fruits every day. 1 fried item (fried rice/noodles) with freshly made egg and coffee/tea of your choice. The receptionist had smiley face only on the first day, the following days she seemed like she had a fight with someone. She was not approachable and had straight face without a hi / bye/smile. Swimming pool was not child friendly. There were hardly anyone using it. We booked the hotel since it was very close to beach, but the beach was not so clean since it was very close to pier, the boats were docked in the place. Had to walk 10 mins on beach towards the happening spot, with Umbrella chairs and water sports. The rooms were clean and done every day without we mentioning them. Baby crib was well set before we arrived. We felt the the room prices were more than its worth. Could have spent couple of bucks extra and got a better deal in 4* hotels.

Misleading, Overpriced and Should be about 2 star
Please note: pictures are misleading on website. We booked for sea view room and received a room overlooking a dirty roof and power lines, barely seeing any sea. Room had digusting sewage smell. Bathroom was of a 1-2 star standard, unsatisfactory. Filthy grout and mould build up. This hotel in my opinion is certainly not 4 star. I would rate this hotel as 2 star max. The hotel commands a premium price 4 times more than what you can get in the surrounding area. When we checked out we got a 2 star hotel for around $40 aud per night and the room standard and quality was much much better than what we received at advantika. Breakfast on our first morning was horrible. Eggs were uncooked, noodles had so much salt in it, and cereal had small bugs in it. I would personally never stay in this hotel again nor would I recommend this overpriced hotel to anyone. It is IMO not a 4 star hotel and is highly overpriced for what you get. I would suggest to look at your other options... This hotel did not get my thumbs up...

Was lovely hotel we normally stay in the centre of patong but wanted a more quite this time....Beach just across the road....breakfast was lovely looking out to sea.... The hotel small and more personal suited us perfectly

It's the southern tip of the Patong bay crescent. About 15 min walk to Bangla. It's a quite neighbourhood and we were away from the heavy traffic noise. The hotel is right on beach road. Good sea view from the top floor. The first floor rooms have limited sea view; still good. This must have been a great boutique hotel one. Currently its tired and needs infusion of money and into people to spring it to life. Front Desk staff is great. Pin was very helpful to guide on things around. Good functional breakfast and many nice options nearby. Laundry, bikes, a 7-11 and all other facilities are nearby. I think I paid too much for the hotel...was peak time. If you get a good deal and price, you wont be disappointed. Pool is OK for kids and family. And yes they have interconnected rooms as well. Buying your own amenities is advisable! There are many options nearby. Just zoom into the area on the Expedia map!

Nice View, but That's All
I've stayed at this hotel many times. It is a fantastic location across the small street from the beach. The deluxe Seaview rooms have a balcony with amazing views from the southend of Patong beach. At this point, this is the only reason to stay at this hotel. There is a nice pool, but that's about it. The rooms are pretty basic and have not been improved or renovated for years. Unfortunately I've had bad luck with having problems in their rooms, with the toilet water running all the time, or its water supply pipe breaking and flooding the bathroom, and the air conditioning not cooling enough or the thermostat not working. Also, they have the worst 10 cable TV channnels of any hotel I've stayed at recently, with not one British or American english news channel, and just 10 channels. Not that I watch much TV in Patong, but for the price of the room, you'd think it would be better. The internet is also very bad, constantly dropping the wifi connection. It just seems like the owner doesn't care, and with so many other cheaper and better quality hotels to stay at, I don't think I will be coming back to Avantika.

年末であったからでしょうが、1泊10万円も取られ1泊1万円以下のレベルのホテルでした。値付けと評価のエクスペディアも含め信頼性が地に落ちました。

Helt OK hotell förutom badrumsförvaring/fönster.
Det som absolut inte var bra var att allt, och då menar jag verkligen allt ljud från badrum/toalett hördes väldigt väl in i rummet. Dörr o fönster mot rummet var en typ av jalusidörr/fönster.

Nice, quiet location...
Stayed at Avantika for 3 nights and would stay again there given the chance to go back. The staff was very nice, room is clean although the AC could use some maintenance. The hotel has a good size pool which is clean. I just wish the owner/management would spend some money to redo the landscaping in front of the room to show off the nice decorations/sculptures by the pool. You can order anything from their free breakfast menu. Location is walking distance to Bangla street and lots of shopping stalls. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would stay again given the chance to go back.

・パトンビーチ南端のロケーション。 ・喧噪さはなく、静か。 ・道路をはさんでビーチだが、道路脇がずっと工事中。 ・バングラ通りまでは、歩いて15～20分。それほど苦にならない。 ・プールは小さく、樹木を部屋に囲まれて、日陰になる。 ・delux sea view room に宿泊したが、2階だったので、ホテル前の樹木が邪魔になり、海はみえたものの少しだけ。

Only one TV channel available
As title, this is ridiculous to have only one local Thai speaking TV channel available. Breakfast is made by order not buffet, maybe the hotel has few customer due to low season. Quality of breakfast is mediocre but staff working in the dining are friendly and willing to serve with smile.

Will be back again!
Went here having low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The location, layout of the hotel and staff were all very accommodating. The best part was the value. It was well worth the price charged and I'll return for sure during my next visit to Phuket.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage!
Schönes, gemütliches Hotel in zentraler Lage. Der Strand befindet sich direkt vor der Eingangstür, zum richtigen Badestrand sind es etwa 5 Gehminuten. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, die touristischen Strände, Bangla Road, etc. sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen, dennoch ist es abends ruhig, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit: Besonders das Badezimmer war auch nach der täglichen Zimmerreinigung nur oberflächlich gereinigt.

Relaxing Hotel on the southern end of Patong Beach
Stayed for 5 nights. A quiet, pleasant boutique hotel, nice pool, very friendly staff. At the southern end of Patong beach but within easy walking distance to the restaurants, shops, Bangla Road nightlife. Clean and relaxing area of the beach directly across the road from the hotel. Breakfasts were fine and it seemed that they would make anything that you asked for if it wasn't in the small buffet area.

Perfect honeymoon
We really feel we lucked out with this hotel. The staff where always available and happy to help with any questions and with any little asks. They where also happy to book things for us such as trips, shows and airport transport. They have access to hire a scooter from them which I would advise as other places asked to leave our passports with them. (Never an OK thing to do). The location was perfect for us as it was a little out of the way of the main town, peaceful and quiet. But it was only a ten minutes slow walk to all the hubbub. The beach was nice, but busy, not the clearest of waters but fine to swim. A short way away is tri trang beach which is quiet and very clear and calm water (also elephants at the beach). Freedom beach is also near but best accessed by boat as the walk down a near vertical rock face nearly killed me and my wife. (But good experience!) freedom beach is beautiful and is the best near by for snorkelling, lots of colourful fish in all shapes and sizes. The hotel food was good and the bar had a beautiful view. We would stay again, no problem.

Hotel ist zwar schon etwas in Jahre gekommen und das Frühstück sehr eintönig. Positiv war die ruhige Lage, der schöne Meerblick, die gute Erreichbarkeit des Zentrums mit allen Möglichkeiten z. B. Buchen aller Ausflüge.

That was very unexpected, to get such a great hotel & a room at such a low price. The room was fabulous - very spacy, lots of little detail made my stay very comfortable. Loved the extra space for laying and playing board games, the balcony, special nook for the suit case. The bathroom was great, I had a shower and a bath tab, and very generous in size and extra shelving. The area is quite and close by the beach for walking, however, requires 5 min walk to the swimming spot, which was not a problem at all. The best of all it was close to the large street on the corner with the best seafood restaurants and bars. Want to come back with my family.

Disappointing
We chose the Avantika for a 2 night stay prior to our departure to ko racha. We stayed one night only and checked in early to our next hotel. I booked the sea view suite, it was small, there was a puddle on the floor from the a/c. The hotel is very dated though you can tell at one time it was a cute boutique hotel. It is in dire need of a facelift. A good paint job & please replace the mattresses for the chaise longues, they are all cracked & nasty. The only positives were the kind staff and the decent breakfast.

The hotel was amazing. The location was good . Not to far away from the club's. But just far enough to relax. The room was lovely and big . Met the owner as I locked the safe . He was such a nice fella . Tried to tip him for sorting out the safe and he refused . When we came back from phi phi we already booked out our room but the cab dropped us there . They let us leave our bags there for the day and then let us use showers and a room to get changed. . Can't recommend them enough !!!!

Great hotel
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days it was wonderful. The staff of the hotel are wonderful and kind but the location of the hotel is a bit far from the city center.

it is quite a far walk to Patong area and also the popular shopping area at least half an hour. would be great if the hotel can provide free shuttle at specific timing. the reception staff dont seem to be helpful and friendly.

Not for me
The location of this hotel is fine if you want to be at the far end of Patong beach. However, it is a bit far from the better bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable enough and the view of the sea was fine but interrupted by roof tops etc. The general facilities at the hotel were below what was expected. No air on in the public areas, the swimming pool area a little run down. The hotel staff in the restaurant were happy and helpful and house-keeping were prompt with any requests. Overall, I would suggest booking one night to see if this hotel is for you.

NOT FOR ME
The hotel room was pleasant enough but the hotels facilities were well below standard. No air on in the public areas. Bar practically non existent (9 pm closed). The pool small and not very inviting. The restaurant for breakfast had no buffet, probably because there were not many guests! However, they did provide whatever you asked for but the system broke down when a few more guests checked in, but then the lack of staff and organisation showed. Location is quite far from the better bars/ restaurants - beware the tuk tuks charge a flat rate of 200baht no matter how short the distance. My top tip is to book only one night. If it's not for you then change. BEWARE : Hotels.com website does not allow ANY refund of advanced payments or changes and the rates are the same as if you booked directly with any of the hotel websites - I checked, but unfortunately 'after the fact' - my big mistake.
