Thanks for the review, glad you found my staff to be good, sorry if you found the water to be a bit smell, There was a huge drought so water has been in short supply, we have not been getting any from the government water supply, to keep the hotel running, we have had to buy it from various sources. I will check who we purchased from when you stayed and not use them again.

On breakfast being, a small hotel and not so many people have breakfast every day we have to limit the amount of food, otherwise it gets wasted. If it was merely a mosquito bite there would be no charge, the whole bedding set was covered along with a towel, you told me it was from your girlfriend at the time and asked for old bedding for the rest of your stay. As i explained to you we have to send the bedding off for intensive cleanse which is extra money, which i might add in this case did not work, we had to at my expense buy a brand new set of bedding and dispose of the bedding you soiled, the 600 baht you paid for this did not cover this cost, so the hotel is out of pocket to the tune of 2200 baht. 1100 baht was your mini bar bill. We do not like charging for bedding it’s not some money scam and is very rare, we also unlike a lot of hotels who will charge for a full set, we try and send away for a special cleanse, however more often than not it does not work, so after the episode with you, I think the hotel policy will be changing and we will just charge for a full set as most hotels do. Anyone using a hotel room if you have a tattoo or have a problem where you are bleeding a lot speak to the reception, they would be only too happy to provide old sheets so as to not ruin new sets, no hotel is out to charge for bedding, but guests should understand bedding is expensive if it gets stained we cannot use it again and have to buy new, no guest wants to arrive at a hotel and see stained sheets. The bike, we video all bikes before they leave us, on 1 of the 4 bikes returned it looked as though there was new damage, on checking the video we took, it was shown not to be the case and no charge was made no drama, again we do not make a habit of charging for bikes but if you use a bike and damage it as with all rental places there would be a charge to repair. I really despair why people believe its ok to ruin a set of bedding in a hotel and not expect to pay for it.

The walk is a good 15 minutes to bangla, but like i say to many of my guests once you have done bangla a couple of times and your wallets empty, good to be able to find cheap food and drink around our hotel, its way cheaper in this area compared to Bangla road. PLus as you say we has scooters to rent at reasonable prices and we can organize any tour or attraction on the islands at the right price

Many thanks for the review, we appreciate your feedback. 1. I pride myself on keeping the hotel clean and my staff do a great job, making sure the hotel is kept at a good standard. 2. There may have been an issue i have not had anyone else complain, we get them serviced regularly so maybe it needed a service. Any issues like that report to front desk we could have moved you or had an engineer to fix. 3. Grab is very expensive in phuket however there are tuk tuks, m bike taxis every where much cheaper. We also offer scooter rental for guests convenience. We are roughly 10 to 15 minutes walk but its an interesting walk with many restaurants and bars on the way, we are also in an area where the food and drink is much cheaper than jungceylon.and its quieter where we are, and if you read the description on expedia we do not hide this fact. 4. We do have extra kettles for guests just needed to ask.

This was before my time at the hotel but the previous owner and staff were all very good and one of the reasons i took over this place was down to the reviews. If you arrive at any hotel at 4 am in the morning unless you had booked for the previous day you would have to wait for staff to arrange a room for you. Check in is from 2.00pm all over the world. Early check in is subject to availability, and should always be pre arranged.
