We are a family of four, when we arrived Rita upgraded us to a chalet since they were having a family reunion in the main house. We even got invited and had delicious home made pizza. The property is lovely and Rita and her family are excellent hosts. We had a lovely time. It is very near to Villa Romana del Casale. We highly recomend staying at Villa Clementina

Lieu impeccable et hôtesse adorable

Notre hôtesse a été vraiment adorable, enthousiaste, et parlait le français, ce qui ne gâche rien. Une maison pleine de charme et un petit-déjeuner avec des gâteaux, des confitures faits maison, et un apéritif offert à notre arrivée. C'était parfait et nous lui sommes reconnaissants de son accueil attentionné et chaleureux.

the last km. to Villa Clementine is on a very narrow road, but it's well worth the effort, the villa is a little gem , lovely garden and pool , our room was very nicely furnished and spacious. Because she wasn't too busy the owner drove us to town for supper and came back to pick us up so we wouldn't have to drive at night ! how grand is that ?

This spacious country villa is lovely with a gracious hostess, modernised facilities, a comfortable bed, a beautiful view and a delicious breakfast. It is a little hard to find at the top of a hill. GPS locates it at the bottom of the hill. You need to follow the narrow road another kilometre up. There is a big sign at the entrance.

A Really Lovely Place To Stay

The Villa Clementine proprietor (Rita) was one of the absolute best ‘experiences’ that my wife and I had during our 2-week driving tour of Sicily. We used our 5-night stay at Villa Clementine to tour Central Sicily, and thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Piazza Armerina and local restaurants. However, the best thing was the wonderful hospitality accorded us by Rita, and we cannot thank her enough for everything! She really did treat us like family, and we could not have asked for anything more. The homemade breakfasts were simply delicious and plentiful – far better than any others we experienced in Sicily. The Villa’s convenient location was just as we had hoped for, being only a fifteen minute walk into the centre of Piazza Armerina or three minute drive. Do not be put off by the Villa access road! After two weeks and 1,900 kilometres driving around Sicily, we soon realised that it was no different to numerous other backstreets of small provincial towns. In fact some were far worse, and you really do get used to the potholes and kind-of learn how to avoid them … Somewhat … Finally, Villa Clementine really is a wonderful place to stay!

Très belle chambre dans une ravissante demeure, avec jardin et piscine. Une halte plaisante pour aller visiter la Villa Romana et voir ses mosaïques. Accueil très sympathique, petit déjeuner varié servi dans la grande salle de séjour. WiFi & parking.

After navigating the tiny streets of hilltop towns, Villa Clementine is an oasis with beautiful garden, rooms and pool. Delicious breakfast. Martina was very kind to us. Bed was too firm for me but otherwise we were delighted with this b and b.

Lovely spot, beautiful garden and pool. Room was clean and spacious. We were in the room by the pool, so extra private. Host was friendly and welcoming. Great spot when to stay when visiting the Roman mosaics.

First class hosts

Excellent stay, Rita is a first class hostess. Room spacious food delicious. Access down a single track road, you need to travel much further along it than anticipated.

A home from home with special touches.

Villa Clementine is such a relaxing place to stay and the perfect location for visiting Villa Romana Casale, the excellent museum at Aidone and the evocative and deserted ruins of Morgantina. Rita is a superlative and generous hostess. Welcomed us into her 'best room' and one could see straight away that she had trained in interior design. A huge room with four poster, desk, sofa, t.v. fridge, hospitality tray and the most beautiful decor and luxurious bedding. The bathroom was spacious too with a good hot shower and there was a separate little room to hang clothes and store suitcases. The breakfasts, as mentioned, were a veritable varied feast and Rita's conversation so lively and interesting. One really did feel that she wanted one to feel at home in her beautiful 19th century house and gardens. She even showed us her well-stocked bar shelf and we were invited to help ourselves. Rita arranged for a take-away pizza one evening and gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy with it. Even though Rita has run this exceptional B&B for eleven years she still greets one with warmth, interest and makes one feel special. Thank you Rita.

On arrival you are made to feel thoroughly welcome by Clementine with home made cake and a drink.Room clean well equipped and comfortable.Breakfast is a banquet!Clementine gave good advice on local restaurants. There was some problem with wi fi which they are resolving with theprovider.

Very good B&B. Fantastic welcome by the owner.

The room was very good, clean and well outfitted. The lady that runs this place is extraordinary! The friendly attitude, helpfulness and attentiveness were all remarkable. The breakfast was really great and included in addition to the regular food self baked bread and cake as well as self made yogurt, all lovingly prepared by the owner (she gets up at 5 am every morning to prepare it).

Treated like royalty

We were a little unsure when we first hit the narrow access road, but from that point on our stay was exceptional. We stayed in the garden unit, which was very private and comfortable, and with a view to the pool. Our host (Rita) suggested a good restaurant in town (Toto) and just as we were about to walk into town, she offered us a lift and then insisted that we call after our meal and she picked us up outside the diner. Oh, and the wood-fired pizza at Toto was probably the best we have had so far in Sicily. Breakfast the next day was a feast, and included excellent canolis and a tart which Rita had baked that morning. Cereals, fresh fruit, croissants, cheeses and meats ...... just too much to list here. Rita is an exceptional hostess and was great to chat with. Thanks again Rita. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Paradise in hiding

After much difficulty we finally found this wonderful B and B. There were no signs and the GPS wasn't helpful. Our host was very welcoming and offered us refreshments or coffee while we checked in. The accommodation and pool were the best. The host offered to drive us to town for dinner because it was getting late and the walk to town was on a dark road. The only thing very disturbing was there were neighboring dogs barking ALL night and kept us from sleep.

Awesome Sicilian hospitality

Villa Clementine is tucked away on a small one lane road about one mile from Piazza Amerina. While it is possible to walk to the town (which doesn't have much to recommend), driving is preferred as the hike is long, uphill, and not particularly scenic. The location of the Villa is very convenient for the Villa Romana which is presumably the main reason anyone comes to this area (it is totally worthwhile!) What makes Villa Clementine great is its hostess Rita. She was so helpful, kind, and available. She made us feel like special guests in her home. Her breakfasts were some of the very best we had in Sicily. We would certainly stay here again if our travel plans took us to central Sicily.

Wonderful place where you are treated like family

We were treated like family. Can't say enough about the friendliness of the owner. Breakfast was unbelievable from home made yogurt, home made bread and marmalade and cakes. A feast!!
