Recomiendo totalmente este hotel. Es muy acogedor, está muy limpio y el personal es muy atento y agradable. Buenísimo el desayuno, además, y con aparcamiento.

¡Absolutamente recomendable! Hotel acogedor, habitaciones muy cómodas, gran atención al detalle y personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo lo necesario. El desayuno continental estaba delicioso, con opciones variadas. Buena conexión WiFi y espacio para aparcar el coche a la entrada del hotel. La ubicación es perfecta para visitar tanto Cangas de Onís como Covadonga, y hay varios restaurantes a pocos metros del hotel. ¡Sin duda repetiremos!

Acogedor, amabilidad y muy buen desayuno.
Bonito Local, solo que la habitación que da a la escalera, (de madera ) muy bonita pero todos los ruidos de los que suben y bajan se escuchan en la habitación Nº 1, la mía.La calefacción no se encendió por las mañana, por lo que el ducharse era cuestión de mucha voluntad. Por lo positivo, acogedor recibimiento, precioso comedor, muy buen desayuno incluido en el precio. Muy buena relación calidad precio.

Wonderful stay at La Balsa. Emilio and parents were gracious hosts. The best breakfasts of all our stays. Cold fresh fruit & melon, tomatoes, homemade Asturias cake, scrambled eggs or local ham/cheese. Storage of our bikes inside, room with view of creek, free parking available. Great WIFI too. Best value for a Cangas de Onís -Covodonga stay. Very convenient for our La Vuelta viewing.

Lovely inn with wonderful hospitality!
We had the most wonderful 4 night stay at La Balsa. The location was great for sightseeing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc. The beds were comfortable and the owners were warm and generous with their time and attention. We advice and guidance we received from the owner regarding where to go and where to eat were better than any guide book. Would love to stay here again.

un hotel ideal para visitar cangas y los lagos de covadonga, el autobus para subir a los lagos te para en la puerta del hotel. Ademas los propietarios son una familia muy agradables, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en tus excursiones, y cualquier cosa que necesites. un hotel totalmente recomendable...

Para descansar y conocer.
Una estadía perfecta. A pesar de que en general, el clima no estuvo bueno, nos aconsejaron que paseos hacer de acuerdo al pronóstico. Instalaciones muy limpias. Buen trato y cordialidad.

Super acogedor, personal muy amable y atento.
Hotelito muy bonito con personal excelente habitaciones muy acogedoras y comodas ademas de limpias, desayuno adecuado y muy bien de precio, muy recomendable, a las afueras de Cangas de Onis. El único pero es que no tiene ascensor, pero es algo que se contrarresta con la amabilidad y buen servicio del personal.

100% satisfied. Cozy rooms, amazing breakfast
We booked the hotel as base-camp in between kayaking the Sella and trekking the Ruta del Cares. We got all you can expect from a hotel in the country side. We were fully satisfied with our choice. Cozy and clean rooms, nice and friendly service (seems to be a family owned business). Free parking and wifi. Special mention to the complimentary breakfast: Awesome homemade bakery and scrambled eggs. 100% satisfied. Maybe I should mention that it is in the outskirts of Cangas de Onis, probably not walking distance.

Hotel was exactly what we hoped for. The owner was very friendly and the entire facility was clean and had the old world character we were looking for.

Gut geführtes Familienhotel
Ich war im September 2011 für drei Nächte in diesem Hotel. Es liegt an einer Straße, was aber in der Region üblich ist, da die meisten Täler schmal sind und die Häuser sich an den Straßen "sammeln". Das Hotel wird von einer Familie geführt, alle sind ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und nett im Bergstil eingerichtet. Da das spanische Frühstück normalerweise eher spärlich ist, ist das Frühstücksangebot besonders bemerkenswert: Guter O-Saft, Toast mit selbstgemachter Marmelade undselbstproduziertem Honig und selbstgebackener Kuchen - jeden Tag ein anderer. Tipp: Wem Cangas de Onis fürs Abendessen zu teuer und zu touristisch ist - auf der Terrasse kann man abends nett picknicken und ein kühles Bier lässt sich am Tresen des Hotels kaufen!

el personal fue muy amable y servicial, pero la calidad de los colchones no es muy buena, son un poco blandos y ruidosos. Mi habitación era tranquila porque no daba del lado de la carretera y el desayuno no estaba mal.
