Very charming small hotel. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were fresh and delicious. Perfectly situated to explore Voltera. we stayed on a Friday night and it was a bit loud outside with young adults enjoying themselves. Ask for a room not facing the street if you’re a light sleeper. Regardless, we’d stay here again.

Un posto centrale a Volterra, vicino ai principali punti turistiche da visitare, i proprietari e lo staff sono gentile, la colazioni é squisita. È stato un soggiorno tranquillo per noi e per la nostra cagnolina. Da tornare.

I don’t recommend staying on a Friday or Saturday as the surrounding area can be very noisy at night. Linens could use updating but it is an affordable option in a prime area! Staff very kind and helpful.

Beautiful town, the hotel was ok, a little old but make sense with the place. The best thing was the service, everyone was really nice. Arrival information was very clear and helpful.

Owners were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable. Bathroom was a touch on the tight side, but serviceable for the few nights we stayed there.

This is a quaint, comfortable little hotel with a fantastic location and wonderfully helpful innkeepers. It was a great place from which to explore Volterra!

Struttura nel pieno centro della città, posizione splendida. Personale cordiale e molto disponibile anche nel fornire informazioni su luoghi da visitare e ristoranti da provare. Camera carina e pulita. Unica pecca, se proprio vogliamo trovarla, manca l'ascensore ma in un palazzo storico è più che normale! Ci tornerei sicuramente.

The Moretti family welcomed us as if we were guests in their home. We loved the garden cafe, the views were lovely and the servers were very sweet. Definitely visit the artisans around town, they like to talk about their craft. This stop was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Italy.

We are happy we stayed at Albergo Etruria, is clean, the breakfast is wonderful and the location is great. Our Room was very nice, spacius and well decorated and the owner and staff are very kind and helpfull. Thanks Albergo Etruria for a wonderful stay at Volterra-Italy.

Great location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety including fresh fruit. Room was clean and comfortable.

Volterra et Albergo Etruria : A recommander
La ville de Volterra est un bijou historique qui a conservé tout son caractère. Sa position dominante offre une vue panoramique sur la Toscane environnante voire bien plus loin. Quant à l'hôtel Etruria, situé dans la vieille ville, il offre tout le confort et bénéficie d'un cachet particulier.

Great hotel with a superb staff - met by owner when we showed up early and he recommended wonderful lunch option, held our bags until the room was ready, and then made dinner reservations at a truly outstanding local restaurant. The property is right in the middle of everything, although it is not noisy nor crowded - and the room had a wonderful shower (something that isn't necessarily common.) I would definitely recommend a stay.

Albergo Etruria is the perfect place to stay in Volterra! Perfectly located in the center of this ancient, vibrant and atmospheric Tuscan hill town (my favorite of them all), the period building and decorations perfectly evoke the mood of the town. The husband and wife owners are fantastically helpful in every way; providing advance guidance to an easy place to park (usually a nightmare in these Tuscan towns where no-cars are permitted in the old city); and enthusiastic recommendations to the local restaurants and activities they actually know because they live there and not because it is their "job." Breakfast is huge and delicious, and everything is spotlessly clean.

A Volterra gem
We were quite comfortable at Albergo Etruria. The hosts were available, swift, and kind. The weather changed to cold and our room was cozy warm. Breakfast was ample and safely served. They thought if everything.

A charming walled city!
Staff was excellent. Parking was a bit of a hike but we expected that with the hotel being located inside the walls of the City.

Hotel in pieno centro storico, comdissimo per visitare Volterra. Personale molto cortese e capace di mettere gli ospiti a proprio agio sin da subito. Camera spaziosa arredata con estro ed originalità e sopratutto molto pulito. Colazione a buffet (servita nel pieno rispetto delle norme covid) di ottima qualità con dolci e pietanze fatte in casa. Very central, interesting drive in to drop luggage. A little noisy at night as there is a bar/restaurant opening late, but can’t fault the hotel.

Centrally located hotel. Try to check in late because the carpark near the hotel is small. Oldish but recommended by Rick Steeves.

部屋の設備などは日本人にとっては不便な点もあると思われますがそれにあり余るほどの素晴らしい環境でとても素晴らしい滞在でした。車の旅にはオススメです。

Camera al terzo piano senza ascensore. Tra camera e bagno 3 gradini. Bagno piccolo e senza bidet. Eppure avevano altre camere libere. Secondo me vi danno le peggiori. Problemi con il riscaldamento.posizione centrale.

Abbiamo pernottato in quest'albergo per tre giorni colazione compresa. Abbiamo preso una camera tripla al terzo piano. La camera era bellissima, arredata con gusto, letti comodissimi con una piccola difficoltà per il bagno che risultava poco provvisto di appendi asciugamani. Difficoltà peraltro superabile. Così com'com'è stato superabile l'assenza di un ascensore e di parcheggi, ma quest'ultimo vale per tutta Volterra. La città è talmente bella che qualche piccolo sacrificio si fa con piacere. Complimenti alla proprietà per la colazione, con molte cose fatte in casa. Volterra è una citta da non mancare nell'elenco delle bellezze italiane.
