Dear Mrs. Shannon, good afternoon and thank you very much for your feedback about your stay at Borgo Pignano. I'm glad to know that as a whole, you had a great experience and that you enjoyed our pasta courses and wine tasting. About your two comments, I would like to clarify a couple of things: The AC is a new feature that we have installed in all our units this year, 2018. It has been a really difficult installation, mainly in the manor house, since the villa is dated from the XII century, and the walls didn't allow an easy installation. Even though those constraints, we manage to install a magnificent air conditioning in all rooms, really silent, but in two of the rooms, we had to install a stand-alone unit that is a bit noisier than the rest. This stand-alone unit works at 50 decibels (library conversation). Due to your feedback, we are planning to see if we can improve that system during 2019. Concerning the doors, one of our core values at Borgo Pignano is to keep the Tuscan heritage and the beauty of our hamlet & manor house. Keeping the original doors have been one of our aims. In case you would like to come back to Borgo Pignano, I would advice you either to book Torretta Room, stand-alone room on the 3rd floor, or one of our maisonettes, cottages or farmhouse, to make sure you enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Borgo Pignano thought the day.
