고풍스런 분위기에 대만족. 도심지와 차별화된 분위기도 굿. PNC 파크도 가까움. 여정 풀고 지하철(무료)로 시내 나가서 둘러보고 걸어서 PNC 파크로 이동 야구 관람 후 다시 호텔 컴백... 시내 호텔의 화려함에는 못미치지만 그 이상의 매력. 아침 식사는 SO SO

Unique experience
This hotel is a mansion built in 19c. It is always glad to meet an owner who loves his house. This hotel is old and antique but well maintained and renovated. You can feel like you stay at an old European mansion. Parking lot is rather small and garage entrance is behind the building.

The owner, Carl, will entertain you with lots of stories. He is fun and colourful. Unfortunately Jeff was out of town while we stayed at the inn so we didn’t have the opportunity to meet him. The building alone is fabulous. Ask for a tour of the once was restaurant in the back that remains in tack. The beds were so comfortable and rooms are very spacious. Bonus - the rooms have a small fridge. You will need to bring your own amenities such as cream (and conditioner if you are staying in the front room). You don’t stay here for the breakfast, you stay here for the luxury of being in a 1800’s revamped mansion. Jeff and Carl kept the integrity of this gorgeous home. And if you are a piano player, there is a lovely baby grand in the front room for you to play. Truly, it is a remarkable inn.

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic and conveniently located property. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were wonderfully helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic bed and breakfast with very kind and welcoming host. The grounds are gorgeous and conveniently located to the happening areas of Pittsburgh. The breakfast was perfect with many options available. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The story of the mansion was very interesting and made for a fascinating stay. I highly recommend the Inn over any other hotel or motel in the area.

An absolutely stunning home. You can see all the hard work and love poured into the house. The owners and house cleaning are wonderful to talk to, and friendly too boot. It was a wonderful stay and nice to be treated so kindly before the holidays.

charming and convenient
Charming place. Beautifully renovated back in 2000, though it could use a bit of work. Breakfast is self-service, not fancy but sufficient and tasty. Very reasonably priced. Owners are friendly and helpful. Probably staying here on our next trip to Pittsburgh.

Incredible 1880s Mansion with Uncommon Hospitality
Stayed there for a Florida State - Pitt football game, Acrisure Stadium is an easy and lovely 15-minute walk across the park (literally). Tons of restaurants and pubs in the area. Loved the opulence of this restored mansion and the incredible hospitality of the owners - breakfast was fantastic and there were an array of snacks set out in the evening (everything complementary), plus guests are encouraged to make use of the common areas, including the incredible stone front porch (photos below). Couldn't have enjoyed the stay more, don't miss it!
We ended both of our evenings in Pittsburgh with cocktails overlooking the park.
An incredible mansion, beautifully restored with both respect and taste.

Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff is great and the chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Breakfast was good and rooms were great. Unique place i would definitely visit again.

Great Choice
Karl and Jeff are wonderful hosts and helpful. They helped us develop our plans for taking in the sites in Pittsburgh. The Inn is very clean and well managed. The room was comfortable and Timmy who was our cleaning person did a nice job. The location is good and there is plenty of free parking. It’s a good choice when visiting Pittsburgh

This is such a lovely mansion, meticulously brought back to its original beauty. Host was wonderful, with excellent local recommendations, and he made a great continental breakfast. Everything was spotless, and the nearby museums and restaurants were fantastic.

Gorgeous place! They paid tribute to the original mansion with attention to historic detail, and for that I am grateful. The grand porch in the front is a wonderful place to relax and converse. Super comfy bet in the room 😊

It’s a lovely old historic inn, a great place to relax. They had fresh chocolate chip cookies, and the owner was very helpful and friendly. Lots of period furnishings.

Lovely refurbished period property with great individual rooms and free parking in the street. Nice breakfast included. There was limited dining in the area (2 of the recommended restaurants were closed)

A wonderful place to stay.
Jeff was an amazing host to us. Gave us map of the area to help us walk to the ballpark safely, advice on places to eat and see. Beautiful structure with a great front porch for an evening glass of wine!

Unique and excellent place to stay.
Unique place to stay. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about places to go and to eat. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Nice,safe location. We were there for baseball as stadium is about 15 min walk away. Felt safe walking to hotel after Friday night game. Room was very clean. Breakfast can get a bit crowded. There are no elevators which wasn’t an issue for us, but could be for some. The above are the only 2 minor issues. Everything else was great. Would stay here again.

This was the best, most beautiful, most comfortable rental we’ve EVER had (and we are frequent travelers!) Jeff was an amazing host. The property is a beautifully restored mansion in a nice park side neighborhood. We got in after a long drive and after some great recommendations and a tour from Jeff, we intended to go out to lunch, but our room was so comfortable that we took a long nap instead. Later that night, after dinner at a nice restaurant and drinks at the pub around the corner from the mansion, we arrived back and dug into the snacks that were left out for us (best home made cookies around!) Our anniversary weekend getaway was so comfortable, romantic, and beautiful thanks to this rental. We will absolutely return. Thank you so much again Jeff for everything!

Loved our stay here and Karl was super friendly and helpful!! We stayed in the Mr. Boggs room which was very large and roomy with a view of the park. There is a nice porch out front and an awesome courtyard, all beautifully landscaped!! Within walking distance of food, stadiums, the aviary and museums. A park is right across the street. We parked the car and never had to drive it until we left. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

The restoration that Jeff and Karl have done is magnificent. It felt like an upscale, historic inn at the price of a modest hotel. Very convenient to stadiums, Allegheny General Hospital, the National Aviary and other North Side attractions, as well as a short cab or bus ride from downtown.

Nice comfortable stay
This was a great property, with nicely decorated rooms. Jeff and Karl (owners) are very knowledgeable on the city and neighborhood. They took great pride in having things set and ready for guest. I would certainly recommend this place if visiting for a game or anything on the north side of Pittsburgh.

The place is gorgeous and the owners we so nice and welcoming! They even went out of their way to give us directions, informed us of places to visit and eat and had homemade cookies set out for the guests! Best inn experience we have ever had!
