If you plan to visit Pittsburgh this is the best option, clean, cheap, close to restaurants, 7 minutes from downtown walking, near the river, etc.

Dining room was limited. Not sure why there was an entire dining room we could not sit in. Coffee shop was closed every time I tried to get coffee. Coffee pods in the room are TERRIBLE, they need to upgrade to something better. The people next door to us had sex all night and you could hear every thing, I had to have my 12 year old daughter put on her headphones to avoid the embarrassing behavior next door. The room had a few things that needed maintenance work done on, ie: the transition strips in the room (room 1030) The room was warm, had a hard time keeping it cool enough to be comfortable and sleep well. There was no convenience store location in the hotel, this is a must have option for a lot of folks. Would not stay here again.

This hotel is old, so old it doesn’t feel or look clean. The bathroom door was a rickety hanging door, with see-through fogged glass panels, which wobbled a LOT as it slid open and closed, and simply touched the wall to close - there was NO LOCK. The beds didn’t have fitted sheets on the mattresses - just a loose regular sheet barely tucked in, which comes completely untucked when you try to pull back the top blankets. The couch, with its mismatched couch cushions, looked so dirty even my youngest child said it was too dirty to sit on. For such a big hotel, it was disappointing that there was no floor where guests could get a view of the whole city and also disappointing there wasn’t a complementary fresh coffee station. But, except for the very unfriendly Starbucks employee, all of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

This hotel is extremely dated and does not deserve to get the price they do for a room. I could not stay asleep as the beds were so uncomfortable my body ached no matter how I tried to get comfortable. This morning my IT band and sciatica are so sever on my right side I’m limping. We had no idea if there was any food on the property or what was offered as we were given our keys and told where the elevators were. The elevators were ridiculously slow! The bartenders at the lounge (we found while wandering around) were friendly and attentive. Would not stay here again

8th floor looked like i was at a motel the room was extremely small and looked nothing like the pics…fingerprints on the headboard and the bed felt like a cot not a mattresses, i couldn’t even finish my stay

Coffee maker had debris from previous use, had not been cleaned. Plenty of Staff at Front Desk, but seemed uninterested, no smiles, no greetings, just a cold look, .... short almost curt responses. Monday morning no breakfast, what? Still a good location and good value for $104 a night

The property is in a very convenient location, close to down town parks and restaurants. However, it is an old hotel, dating back nearly 40 years when it was a Hilton hotel. Hot water on the higher floors took almost 25 minutes to appear. The walls are very thin where you can hear people walking along the corridors. The overnight parking fee is high ($45 valet), but this is also in downtown Pittsburgh where land is at a premium. Food quality at the hotel restaurants is excellent.

Honestly the elevator is super backed up and you can hardly get on one if you’re going down from the mid level, there was also no hot water only lukewarm water so you can only imagine how my S/O felt about that! Besides that, the staff was great, the surrounding area is very walkable, about a 15 minute walk to anywhere! The hotel is a bit out dated but it does the job for a short term stay.

Honestly, it was the biggest waste of money we have ever done we stay in downtown Pittsburgh, quite a bit for work. And decided to give this hotel a try not only will we never stay there again we were never suggested to anybody even somebody we didn’t like. upon checking in it took us an hour to valet park. Our room the walls and ceiling had cracks everywhere. The wallpaper was coming off my wife cannot even shower with the shower door staying closed without holding it when we came back we asked the front desk guy if there was any vending machines or anything we just wanted to grab a couple snacks. He said that we just should order DoorDash and spend the extra money to have it delivered. The next day when we went to check out only two of the five elevators were working, I just had knee surgery so we could not take any stairs not that we could find them anyway because there was not proper signage. We paid $53 to valet our car when we called the extension and we got told just to come down and give the ticket to them we were told 10 minutes and waiting hour and 45 minutes to get her car , you would think for the price of the room for a hotel that cost 400 and something dollars a night $53 for valet also we were charged a $304 hold on our credit card which still has not been returNed to us for incidentals only later to find out they charge us again for the room even though we booked and paid the Expedia, we would never stay here again. I would sooner drive back home

Property was very convenient, being at the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Walkable to any place in the are. Staff were helpful when needed & the pool & hot tub were a nice plus to enjoy the stay and relax from busy days of exploring!

This property needs updated TV's. Also they only have basic cable. Most hotels have a small convenience store on the premises to provide snacks and drinks for later hours. Here they do not. Friendly staff though!

GOOD LOCATION. That’s it. This hotel was an experience from begin to ending… Service overall was okay. Valet was a complete JOKE. And the fees, the extra fees, for a bottle of water $4.00!! For BEER for 2, $16.00!!! And the valet parking $87!!!! CRAZY! So OVERRATED!!!! And we have learned our lesson. Unless you’re a business and you’re getting a free stay and things paid for…. This isn’t friendly family stay! I really am not happy with how they charge so much for so little amenties…. Never Again!!!!
