Convenient hotel with fridge and microwave, just off the highway. Grocery store and restaurants are very close. the room was clean but the shower was dirty and looked like it needed a good scrub. they are in the process of updating the hotel though.

Stayed here before and it was fine but this time it was different. Filthy around shower door, bed hard as a rock, very poor lighting in room, ring of filth in sink. Only bonus? The guy at the front desk was SO nice, polite, and courteous!

I looked at all of the reviews before I chose to stay here and we have stayed at other Motel 6's before. We booked a stay because of the no charge for our dogs and we just needed a place to stay for the night. The grounds and parking are great, they even have charging stations for the electric vehicles. The gentleman that checked us in was fantastic, really nice guy! Knowing that it is a Motel 6 I didnt expect a lot from the accommodations. The room was fine, but you can tell that the whole place needs a huge deep clean. Make sure you bring your own shampoo (I forgot), they have none in the room and you should remember this is not a resort or 5 star hotel. It is a great place to stay for the price and location!

It was okay for an overnight stay. I liked that there was a microwave and fridge. The walls and the bathroom could use a good cleaning but like i said, it worked for a quick overnight stay.

The room and property was what one would expect from the brand. Could use some sprucing up, but overall a clean and functional room. Not many amenities but that is to be expected for the cost. There is no breakfast, but coffee and tea are available in the morning hours.

When our power went out and the utility said it would four days before restoration, we headed to a place with heat and lights. This property was perfect for our needs.

no elevator so had to carry our injured 50 pound dog up the stairs..inconsiderate people filled their coolers with ice and dragged then down the hall twice before 5 am. Don't know what the hotel could have done. But you should not take a room by the ice machine.

I've seen reviews on this motel that show it around middle-ground. I don't understand why. The motel is well-kept outside and in. The 2 different prelude who checked me in were friendly and efficient. My room was absolutely clean. The floors, the furniture, the bedding, and the bathroom were obviously very well maintained. I'd stay here again anytime in Auburn.

This was a great place to stay for us to stay, as we were just using it for sleeping. We spent the majority of time at our son's home. It should be noted that there is no elevator. We were able to navigate that, but also had several large suitcases and other items we had to take up the stairs. So if you can't do stairs, request a 1st floor room. Also - there is no hair dryer, iron, or shampoo. Bar soap - but not shampoo. These are fairly typical items you expect in a hotel these days. Again - I brought my own (except for the iron) so I didn't need them. But for review purposes, it's good to know before reserving so you can be prepared. We have stayed at this hotel before and will stay there again. It's a great price when you mostly just need a place to sleep.

Arrived and was given room 312. We walked in and it smelled like Fabuloso, after about 1 minute it smelled like mold/mildew and I started to get a headache. I noticed the shower floors were dirty. I told the front desk and he then gave me room 310 with no hesitation ( still card a dirty showed floor). 310 was better, no smell of cleaner and nothing to give me a headache. First night after a festival we got back tipsy and didn't notice anything, 2nd night everything was good. The morning we went to check out there was a tiny roach in the bathroom. When we got home everything went straight into the washer. I would probably stay here again because the place has potential and after rationalizing things the first room actually smelled of cat piss and not mold although there was mold in the shower. If you're a clean freak bring your own comet/ajax and a scrubber to clean the shower. Other than that sweet dreams. LOL

Outside of the staff I can’t really recommend this place. Didn’t feel safe. Also, no one works the front desk from 11pm-5pm? I understand being short staffed but who’s in charge during those hours? Is there anyone working?

The first room smelled so bad of cat urine we had to switch. The next room the door had been kicked in and the used wood screws to hold it together. The lock wouldn't latch. Poorly maintained room, beds are like springs on cement slabs. No elevator to get to second floor, no coffee pot in room.
