Delighted to read that the reviewer and her husband enjoyed their stay in our ever popular Lincoln Garden Apartment. Damp mentioned may have been caused by the summer's seemingly endless rainfall. Could have provided a dehumidifier if asked. Thanks for sharing with other Expedia travelers .

Delighted reviewer liked our Coolidge Deluxe Bedroom. Shower is an industry standard corner. Options with larger showers were available when room was booked and during stay. Preference for a larger shower was never mentioned. Slow draining sink was not reported. It’s been fixed. Sorry, all air conditioning units make noise. Ours are quieter than most. Records show that we were asked not to do a house-keep day one. Records also show housekeeping was conducted days two and three. We’re pleased our morning fruit plate was a hit. We offer eight gluten free entree options each day. Two are specials, which are changed daily. Disappointed variety wasn’t adequate. Front porch balusters, railings and beams aren in the process of being replaced. Chairs, cushions, tables and flowers will return to the porch once project is completed.

We’re disappointed the reviewer didn’t enjoy an exceptional stay. Regrettably, some of the comments are disingenuous whilst others are just plan wrong!Ashland is an authentic New England town located in the geographic center of NH. The town offers good restaurants, interesting shops and great recreation options. Ashland is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the granite state. The words sketchy simply do not apply to our authentic, rural community.Room layouts are all illustrated by photographs. The reviewers original booking, and upgrade, have a similar layout. If not satisfied, why did they book? Why didn’t they ask to change rooms?Room thermostat batteries failed prior to normal changeover. Fireplace technician serviced all units the day prior to the reviewer’s arrival. A part needs to replaced. Supply chain disconnects - they also impact us - mean we’re still waiting. Rainy weather dirties windows. They’re cleaned as frequently as staffing restrictions permit. We’re pleased the service experience, hospitality and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Reviewers comments are disappointing. He was informed on arrival that Anderson Doors was having supply chain issues, which might cause the handle to come off. I offered to reattach should this occur and my offer was declined. Room was not dirty. If it had been, surely the reviewer would have asked the property owner to have housekeeping take a look. Mold? Have had guests stay in the apartment for ten years. Location prompts a level of humidity but have never had any complaint about mold smell. Regret the reviewer didn't have a good experience. Inaccurate perceptions could have readily been addressed by innkeepers.

Our 1895 historic Inn provides a charming base for those who want to explore the best parts of New Hampshire. We enjoy hosting our guests. Delighted to read that our multi course breakfasts hit the spot.
