For the price a pretty good place to stay. Rooms have been updated so a major plus. Much better than the Quality Inn across the street...

Bad odor
The hallway going to the room smelled like mold and mildew, very musty and overall bad smell. The room itself had the same odor, just not as strong. The drywall on the ceiling in the shower had a hole and was peeling off. Could not stay in the room because of smell.

Stay at Ashley
The bathroom was remodeled so was nice. The bed was horrible, soft, brokedown. Room soon on clean. Didn't smell so nice. The outside needed maintenance and garbage laying against the building outside. Wished I would have taken a place at chain hotel.

No frills here!!
It had no coffee in room but did have coffee in lobby 24 hrs and it tasted like that!! The room was ok but the bed was uncomfortable. No room for anything in the bathroom because the vanity was so little and had a big vessel sink.

it was ok but bringing bed bugs home is not ok
I have stayed at this hotel 2 times now, and after i got home each time, i found bed bugs at home in my bed. Everything was ok but the whole bed bugs thing is not. I never saw any and I checked the bed before sleeping in it. But low and behold, they showed up at my house again after my 1 night stay here.

Will do again
This was our first time at this particular Motel 6. We have stayed at other motels in this location, but now am wondering why. Will do this one again. The staff were absolutely marvelous. Highly recommend.

Too much cigarerette smoke coming nonsmoking rooms. Hallways filled the it. This Motel 6 is one of the better ones as far as the rooms & cleanliness but noise at all times of night was also an issue.

Never again
Very noisy, rooms next door was extremely loud all during the night. Wasn't clean. The security on the door didn't seem to work. I wouldn't suggest anyone stay here yes it's cheap and it's cheap and you gonna get a cheap hotel! I was there for 3 days on business trip. Bed are uncomfortable.

Typical two-star facility
The motel is being upgraded with new amenities. But it has a way to go before you can call it a three-star motel. The one thing I was very disappointed with was the WiFi. It did not work at all.

Needs work
We were pretty disappointed. The floors were dirty and the bed linens were stained and the beds were rock hard. They were under construction and you could see that they were making good changed, but they have more work to do.

Good for price
Looks like the rooms are being updated so nice. New flooring, sink, and shower. We have stayed at another hotel in town with the same price that was not as nice or clean.

Not as bad as others make it out.
Was not expecting much after the reviews on here and for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. The room needs new beds but other than that it was a very good stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and very nice.

Poor service all around
Hotel did not honor special request access or attempt to notify that no handicap areas were available; room was not cleaned after first night; staff was very rude and hateful; dogs barking in adjacent room was annoying; dog got off leash and was snapping at me (handicap person). Obviously I will never stay here again.

Finish the refurbishing
The microwave oven in 312 did not work. The placement of the extension cord was not terribly safe. The bed was comfortable and the new bathroom was attractive.

A week's stay
Second floors rooms were being remodeled during the stay. The 3rd flr facing East is best away as it faces away from the street traffic. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The 3rd flr room was nice appeared brand new.

Disappointed
Although I was needing a place just to sleep, I slept in my clothes. The smell of the hotel and room, combined with lights that did not work and cheap linen did not make me comfortable. I was disappointed for what I saw for the price. I had a reservation for a similar hotel the next night but cancelled it due to this hotel.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Like sleeping on concrete. Room was ok for the price. room clean, needs updating. As a third shift worker, keeping on night schedule is important. stopped for a nap. don't think I could have slept much longer on that bed.

WONDERFUL PERSONNEL.
It is the personnel that make this motel terrific. The manager was, Destiny, a delight. The evening manager was also terrific, friendly, and got my ipad online. The lobby was decorated for Halloween (over the top) It was just delightful. Destiny took our family picture at the table with the additional 'Mr. Bones'. (Forgot his name, made that up.). We had a great time!

Avoid this Hotel
This was the most unkempt hotel I have ever stayed in. The smell of the room was like a strong foot odor- maybe the cleaner with bleach, but it didn't smell clean. The room was not updated and disgusting- the curtains were hanging only by one bracket; there were bugs in the light fixture; rusted out kleenex box holder; dead roaches in the sink drain; and the shower sprayed at chest level (and I'm a short person!). Plus, the bed was incredibly hard. We informed the front desk of the room issues and they did as best they could with the limited resources they had available, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The handicap rooms were too far from the parking spaces. Had to walk all the way down the hall which was very narrow to get to the room.

Spend a little more, you won't regret it.
This hotel, while having been renovated, lacks many features that would make your stay more enjoyable. The website mentions blow dryers in every room; I didn't pack one for this purpose, but our King room did not have one; rather, there was a place on the wall where the paint color was different, where one should have been. There was no mattress pad on our bed, and the pillows were encased in plastic, so they crinkled every time you moved. The furniture in the sitting area of our room was worn and badly stained, and the entire hotel felt very humid; so much so that the carpet in our room felt damp. It was still damp in the morning despite running the AC all night. The top step on the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor was loose and slanted back towards the main floor, which could certainly be a fall risk for someone older.

Excellent Hotel in Ponca City
Staff takes care of business and makes your stay a good experience. Breakfast is free and is excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

Convenient but you get what you pay for
The location was great, and I appreciated the pet policy that welcomed my big dog. However, the room was dirty from the previous guest when we got there. I understand that cheaper pet friendly hotels will not be the cleanest, but there was trash and wet towels in our room when we checked in. The staff was friendly though and resolved the problem quickly.
