What i like was in the jungle and was very tranquil and was beautiful looking place and staff was very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was bedding not changed room not cleaned while staying there and unable to get most food and drinks ordered. But I also understand that we were the only people staying there and small amount of staff, and still recovering from after covid, but in all very beautiful, tranquil setting and extremely nice staff.

The Hotel was closed and I should get refund!
Well we booked this hotel paid for it. Luckily we called to see if they would pick us up at the pier. THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED!! So they had our money and there seemed nothing I could do as Hotel.com would not reply to me. This hotel sent me to different hotel that owners sister owned. I booked a hotel with pool, little refrigerator near a beach I wanted to visit and a free breakfast. We were sent far from this Little Island Hotel to a different town and the owners would not even pick us up at the pier. To visit the beach I wanted to see had to pay outrageous Trike fee. There was no pool at the hotel we got stuck at, there was no free breakfast or even a restaurant at this hotel, their WIFI did not work and no little refrigerator. I was going to stop payment because Hotel.com refused to talk with me but decided to just pay them. If we had not called the Little Island Hotel we would have been stuck after dark in the middle of no place hungry and paying for outrageous trike ride fees looking for open hotel.

I love the aspect, up in the hills overlooking the ocean in a beautiful set out Spanish style solid build motel The room was comfortable and clean and staff were all very pleasant and eager to please

We were just ask service voucher so we will know whst room category you wanted to. Restaurant starts at 6 .00 in the morning until 02:00 in the morning...but we are so very proud to accept comments and suggestiond from your end... Thank you

Worst hotel so far for me
This hotel is very bad. The photos on their site is like night and day in comparison to the actual place. It's outdated and dark and they say with cable but can only get 1 channel. It says wifi but it's so weak might as well don't include it on your amenities. their pool is very murky and dirty. Location is about an hour away from everything and the road is an array of bumpy and secluded curvy roads. The only good thing is perhap a good view and freindly staff but overall not worth $40/night

Gone in Five Minutes
Don’t waste your time staying here. The place is nothing like what they advertise. When we got into our room, the bathroom is so run down that we left within five minutes of being there. The bathtub is so filthy you won’t even stand on it to have a shower. The sink has mold around it and it has a lot of stain and yellowing. The veranda door doesn’t lock, the tv wasn’t working and you can only pock up wifi in the lobby. The property is secluded so ne prepared to spend a lot of money getting in and out of the property. This place is far from the beach. The only thing good here are the staff, they’re really nice. The property owner should spend money redoing the rooms instead of just running it down and keep renting. We were very disappointed about this place that we left within five minutes of being there.

A little off the beaten path, about a 20 minute walk into the next town/beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel has a nice feel about it and would make a great place to throw a big social gathering - lots of facilities to use. if the grounds around the place got a little more upkeep and repair, this place would be over the top

Personal super! Ansonsten so lala...
Camotes ist eine sehr ruhige Insel mit wenig Möglichkeiten - also eher für eine Nacht. Es hat dafür fast keine Touristen. Wenn Camotes dann aber auf jeden Fall in der Nähe von San Fransisco, denn dort sind die Strände. Dieses Hotel ist in Poro eher auf dem Weg und hat nichts in der Nähe: keine Restaurants, Bars, Cafes oder sonst irgendwelche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das war wahrscheinlich der Grund, weshalb wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Somit waren wir gezwungen im Hotel zu essen, welches verbessert werden könnte. Sie vermieten ein non-automatic motorcycle für 500php pro Tag. Dann konnten wir wenigstens nach San Fransisco fahren, was aber ca. 1 Stunde dauert. Der Service bzw. die Leute waren toll! Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer fröhlich. Das Zimmer war sauber, der Pool so lala. Das WLAN funktioniert nur in der Lobby. Der Balkon war toll. Das Wasser in der Dusche reichte für zwei Personen ohne Haare waschen. Ansonsten musste man eine Weile warten. Dann ging aber das Wasser im Lavabo und WC auch nicht mehr. Manchmal gab es Stromausfall, wurde aber innerhalb Sekunden behoben. Wenn man das Licht ausgeschaltet hat, blinkte es. Manchmal hörte es sich in der Nacht an, als wären Tiere (Geckos) im Zimmer, weil die Tiergeräusche so laut waren. Ich würde das Hotel nur wegen des Personals weiterempfehlen. Aber dann unbedingt ein Motorcycle mieten!

Island Retreat
If you are looking for a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a good place to hide away. I love the scene over looking the greens & looking at the ocean while you relax or have coffee.

Great hideaway
Being on a truly remote island, what can you expect?? No hot water, cash only, wifi in lobby only, brown outs at night for 10 minutes, those were about the only negatives. The staff was above and beyond. The view amazing. The kitchen excellent. Being 2 of 4 people in the entire resort? Priceless. An really awesome place to get away..rent a bike and tour around.

We have a water heater that place inside the cabinet. Maybe that was not checked by housekeeping incharge. Wifi is only in the lobby, we already inform on that. brown-out is not our control. there is a standby generator during brown-out

It is a cheap hotel, its a 2 star hotel. Pros Good value for money Friendly Staff Quiet area Free breakfast Good pool Negatives 500 PHP taxi fare to take you to port is a joke, pick up is just free Not a great restaurant, many items are missing Can be quiet noisy at night from other guests Dated rooms in the middle of no where so can't walk anywhere. Would i stay again, probably not but it is ok for the price.

Nice and quiet place!
Hotel is very nice! Good food, big pool area and nice rooms. Staff was very nice. Its litle bit far from port and beaches, but you can rent scooter, car or car whit driver. It takes whit taxi 40min from port to hotel and was 600 pesos. Food and drinks was very cheap at hotel.

Very relaxing lovely position
Lovely elevated position comfy room with balcony sea view however nowhere else around to eat or buy food .Food at hotel very poor ordered steak on first day but completely inedible also the fish steak not fresh we had to buy our own food at the market 15 kms away and ask the kitchen to cook no idea how to cook the food and also got charged a large amount as well .All they need to do is employ a decent cook we would have stayed much longer. Absolutely no WiFi at all even though they promised to fix .ALSO VERY POOR SHOWER

Very comfortable stay

stayed in executive suite room but aircon was in bad condition (noisy, air louver was damaged) and was not able to get a good night sleep. poor Wifi or should i say no Wifi available!

Alles gut. Restaurant katastrophal. Personal super nett. Zimmer mehr als ok und angemessen für den Preis. Allerdings Restaurant ab 18:00 Uhr zu. Speisen mangelhaft und in der Nähe nicht zu essen oder andere Plätze.

Comfortable but dated.
Very dated. Old features in bathroom. No hot water as indicated. No plugs for sink or bath.the room was clean and beds comfortable . Minimal food available when requested. The breakfast portions were a joke at being so minimal. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by the family making the stay worthwhile.

Beautiful and peaceful
The hotel looks so charming. It's on top of the island, with spectacular views. They pick you up at the ferry terminal and drive you to the front door. A grand lobby and eating area, friendly staff, and good food. Nice pool. You can arrange a tour of both islands in the same day, with stops at the local attractions, and still have time left over. You pay a small entrance fee at every stop. You need to pay for them to take you back to the ferry after your stay-500 pesos- about $11 US. You pay if you want them to drive you anywhere, so I rented a scooter for a day for 500 pesos. Not easy to spend a whole week here with the wifi being difficult and nothing else close, but still a nice stay for the time you'll spend.

ツインルームを予約していたが案内された部屋はダブルルームでした。案内人に内容が違うというと、違うホテルならツインルームがあるし追加料金は発生しないしそこまで無料で送迎すると言われ承諾。しかし、案内されたホテルはレストランなしプールなしアニメティなしの汚いホテルだった。 i reserved twinroom but it was doubleroom. staff said that another hotel has twinroom so i guide but it was dirty,no amenity ,no restaurant,no pool and no breakfast.

Bad service
I couldn't even get to the hotel as they closed the gate when I arrive at 1230am. I waited outside of the hotel shouting n hitting the gate with no response. Ended up needing to pay for other resorts. No information about the timing of when the recipient is open. Emailed them before hand but no reply.

Nice hotel with friendly staff
The island is small and you need to travel around to see the caves, beaches and falls. There aren't much tourist spots on poro island, so I recommend you to stay not more then two nights in my little island hotel. It is located in the mountains with a beautiful view over the island and a nice pool to chill. The room is OK, nothing special just clean, air-conditioned, neither ugly nor very beatiful. The food was average. The WiFi didn't work. But overall I wouldn't expect too much for a hotel on the Camotes islands. It is one of these places which is not crowded with tourists and you can really enjoy a quiet place with beautiful beaches. Therefore I would say they are doing a good job.

Too Isolated
Although a very nice looking hotel, they let themselves down with the atmosphere. We were the only guests most of the time, so they had everything off until we came into dine and or use facilities. They had a fantastic swimming pool with water fall and spa but never had the water fall and or spa operating until the last day we were to leave. When questioned the only response was I don't know why. They failed to tell us when booking that it was a cash only hotel, luckily we had enough foreign cash to use to pay bill. Plus we were so far away from everything we could go nowhere unless we hired their service??? Walking was unsafe on the narrow winding roads, and there was nowhere to walk to anyway.
