I am sorry that your expectations of a 5 star Resort were not met. This, sometimes can become an issue when an overseas guest books with a Group tour only to find the company has booked into a 3 star budget Motel. I hope the rest of your holiday was enjoyable.

This motel was great for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a minor electrical problem and the owner came and fixed it immediately. It is very convenient to Mossman Gorge.

There was a misunderstanding between Wotif and the property. They wanted to charge $10 more and tried to charge me twice. He was understanding though but I wouldn’t stay again at that price I would rather a pub

Have stayed at motels all over Australia and this is the worst one by far. Decrepit (fridge door held by duct tape and both fridge and toaster yellowed from age and wear, looked gross), smelled awful because of so-called room deodorizer, had one coffee spoon in the room along with a few cups and dishes. Completely run down, have stayed in far better motels that were more decently priced. Note that any decent reviews are old… Expedia shouldn’t be selling this accommodation.

The team were super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed the camp kitchen and pool. It was lovely to be able to cook ourselves a few meals and eat simply. Kitchen was supplied with everything we could need! We would definitely recommend staying here. Close to town and the Gorge and a short drive from Port Douglas.

Neat and tidy motel in a good spot. Older fit out but very good for the prices, plenty of free parking and free wifi.

Comfy Bed, nice people running the place. The restaurant attached to the hotel "Inn Front" does the best steaks I've had in a very long time.... i was amazed at how good they were. Highly reccomended.

Brother's 70th birthday bash.

Our stay for 4 nights at Demi View Motel in Mossman, Far Nth Qld, was so good with excellent service from the staff. We made the trip with a few other family members for my brother's 70th birthday.. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and suited the needs for my wife and I.A big thank you very much to the Demi View Motel staff for making our stay such a memorable occasion. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip up that way.

Was a lovely place to stay. Staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. It’s definitely a place I’ll stay at again. The only problem we had was no hot water. Other than that it was terrific.

Perfectly located for the Mossman Gorge

A pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. There was a communal bbq/microwave/dining area which was very handy if you didn’t want to eat out and Woolies was just down the road. The staff were nice and so were some of the other guests we met. The best thing about this motel and the main reason I chose it was the close proximity to the Mossman Gorge.

Not keen on washing dishes or cleaning teeth in a bathroom sink in the kitchen. There is room for both.

My booking was lodged twice for 2 days and I was trying to lodge once for 3 days. I thought I'd clicked on a low season special of $65 per night and was charged $99 per night. This was not a holiday. I was between houses and needed a few nights accommodation. I wasn't happy.

Nice basic motel

Very helpful manager! Had accidentally locked myself out and he came down after hours without hesitation. Room itself is basic and looked neat and cared for I but did find a very large (mostly dead) bug in the main room. Not sure if this is due to the humidity in the area. Good location if you’re on your way up to Cape Tribulation or Mossman Gorge.

Very friendly reception also helpful with local advice. Being close o the restaurant made easily accessible for this 85 year old. It was peaceful environment. Didn't sk for a disabled unit so wouldhaveapprecited couple of handles in shower and toilet for elderly.

Comfortable and handy to everything.

Friendly, efficient check-in and shown to our room which was very clean and had been renovated. Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Situated in the middle of town and handy to everything. Good base for our trips to Mossman Gorge and Daintree area.

Perfect for a one night stay

We were heading north to Daintree from the Tablelands, and wanted to break our journey to explore Mossman Gorge. The rooms are a little dated, and could do with some better locks as, this being a motel, they open directly into the carpark. There's a bakery nearby as no breakfast is included. We did not use the restaurant for evening dinner, opting instead to see what Port Douglas had to offer (probably more variety).

A motel that feels more like home.

While not a fancy motel, and having a feeling of yesteryear, this motel is immaculate. The place feels loved. I would stay there again! The owners look after you.
