Hi Claudette, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, Easter and Christmas is always an expensive time to travel, and that's just the way it is ! I would like to point out that our rooms are very clean, our air conditioners all work. Our motel is an older style establishment, but very clean, comfortable, always maintained and very well located to all that beautiful sites that Port Stephens has to offer

Hi Andrew, Thank you for taking your time to write this review. You did raise these 2 issues with me in the office, and I did explain that we had just had some plumbing work done in the room next door to yours, and some air might have got trapped in the line and be causing the hammering. The hot water issue was a freak incident where demand was so high that the system could not cope. It only takes 20 minutes to recover, which again I did explain. You did not experience the same issue again for the rest of your stay ! I am pleased however, to hear that you did enjoy your stay and found us to be nice people. I hope that the reviews you get at your motel are all of a positive and welcoming nature. Good luck and God bless.
