Didn't get to stay... .made my reservation through Expedia months ago - showed up to find the hotel closed due to construction. Someone probably should've mentioned that they'd be closed a little earlier..... Wonder if I'll get a refund....? We'll see....

Not safe to stay while on construction!
Not sure why still available to stay the night if this hotel is under construction!! It’s unsafe, not clean and construction employees still working late (arrived at hotel at 8:30 ish and still making construction noise) !! I did not stay there, once again felt unsafe ! Should not be rented while/during construction. Old beds and furniture outside , construction tools outside with fences, it looks that it’s been demolished! Or vandalized!

Don’t stay here. They had NO Amenities At All!
The guy who checked me out literally took $30 of my $100 cash deposit. He first tried to say that I caused drywall dust to be in the heater/AC unit. When I had been working with plastic tubing at work all week. Never tucked Drywall. Then he said that I took to long to vacate the room even though he said he would give me 15 mins to rebook my stay on Hotels.com. Well the site was down and It was not allowing me rebook so I just packed up. Within the 15 mins he offered. But since I didn’t rebook & I was out 10 mins past 11 am he decided to charge me $30. When I began to explain why I was unable to book a room on the website he told me that he did not care. That if I kept talking about it that he would keep all of my deposits. That I would get nothing back.

Tons of construction that wasn’t mentioned prior to booking. Dirty and smelled awful. Band aid left in the rooms bathroom rolled up in an Ethernet wall connection. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed - very disappointed and grossed out.

Nothing sweet about Portland suites
Got woken up rudely at 9 am by the manager pounding on our door because we had parked in apart of the parking lot where they had construction debris falling. I understand them not wanting to be responsible for damage but they only tried to call my cell phone once and I didnt answer because I was sleeping. Apparently they had cones to block off that part of the parking lot but someone moved them , but none of the staff notified me or said a word that they would be doing work in the mornings and to make sure our car was parked in a safe area . As for the condition of the hotel it’s pretty bad I understand they are under construction but there was lots of damage in the room hallways elevator etc.more gave the feeling of being in a construction site as opposed to a place that call themselves “suites” well there’s nothing sweet about this place I’ll tell you that right now. Our bathtub in our room appeared to have had a hole punched in it and was patch with some kind of putty or cement mixture but looked awful and would not be something you’d want to bathe in. Wallpaper peeling , holes in the wall of the hallway poorly covered with pictures screwed into the wall over it. Overall I would not stay here again , maybe give it a chance when they are done remodeling and have the amenities back such as pool , breakfast , etc. but if your on a budget and looking for a cheap place I encourage you to keep looking.

Property is under construction. Amenities unavailable but not disclosed until check in. Crunchy towels, not enough pillows, soundproofing is horrible (can hear everything outside and in hallway). Appreciate the extra cable channels and prompt maintenance (although housekeeping should be checking everything daily). Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful.

We first arrived and we’re told we need to pay a 100 deposit never mentioned on website, also won’t be refunded for up to a week?! Second everything in the hotel is under construction. Can’t use the pool, spa or have breakfast all the doors sound off alarms. 3 our room has a punch hole through the door, a needle with stuff in it! The bathroom toilet paper had needle traces and marks. Not safe at all!!! If we had another place to book tonight we would have left!

Our room had no shower curtain and black mold on the walls in the bathroom. Also ran out of the 1 half used toilet paper that was left in our room. I understand they were in the process of remolding but I wish they gave us a room that was decent.

I booked this room for one night. We where coming into town for a group fundraiser. When we arrived at the hotel no one was at the front desk for over 15 minutes had to call the hotel number to get help. Then the first room had black mold in the bathroom bad big spot on the ceiling. So changed rooms was a pain in the ass had to get ahold of the front desk again. Then that room still had mold just not as bad. After we got the door keys to work. It was cheap but in reality this place needs to close down tell it’s remodel is over and completed. I have pictures of the room and all it’s mess for my own protection, so they don’t try to keep my 100$ deposit. Would not recommend staying here.

This place is absolutely disgusting! There were holes in furniture and doors. Someone had previously kicked in the door and did not have the deadbolt lock. Has not been throughly cleaned in a while as I had found a receipt from 10/24. It looks like they were doing construction and required a $100 hold for the room which was not mentioned in listing. DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE!

The only good thing about this property was the staffing. The guy who helped us check in was great!!! However the room was dirty and not in the best condition. Carpet was very old. The whole room in general was outdated

I travel to Portland a number of times a year and have been staying at this property for the past 5 or 6 years. It was never a fancy hotel but I like the location, it was clean and felt safe so it did the job. They are renovating some things and i could have overlooked all of that but the rooms were absolutely disgusting. Mold in the bathroom, one of the curtains was ripped and not replaced, the carpet was so dirty that my grand baby's feet were black and people were shooting up in the parking lot. Do not stay at this hotel! They have definitely lost our continued business and will never go back.

Broken toilet handle, broken sink faucet, cable disconnected, ice machine not working. Positives were the front desk guy immediately fixed the cable, replaced forgotten keys without question. Best cable out of four hotels stayed at in the past week.

Was a good price for the property, Very unfortunate that the fire alarms went off in th middle of the nite several times. Didn't get much sleep due to the malfunction. they do take a $100 deposit and hold it for a week. Not sure why it takes so long to get your deposit back?

staff was rude and took my money but didint let me stay in the room that i payed for. said i was allowed in but not my children. really gave me stress that they wanted my family to sleep outside.

Looks like they may be in the middle of a remodel, which is much needed! Hopefully they update their rooms and furniture because it was dated and uncomfortable. Bogus rules about guests not being able to have visitors because of COVID. Pool was closed. Just not that great. I should have done some research before booking.
