다시 가고 싶은 호텔

넓은 객실, 가족 단위로 와도 좋을 곳. 프라하성과 구시내 등 접근성의 용이함. 주차장이 없어 아쉽지만, 친절하게 주차할 수 있는 곳 알려줌. 다시 프라하에 가게 되면, 꼭 숙박 예정임.

I loved the quietness and location of the property which is close to the Palace. My room felt like home. Great view of the little Eiffel Tower from the back balcony and from my windows. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was hard was there is no elevator because of its UNESCO standing and my luggage was 50 pounds - they only had female staff in the morning who were not able to assist. Perhaps hiring a bellboy would be helpful?

Härligt läge, härlig atmosfär i hela hotellet, och glad, trevlig och hjälpsam personal som alla pratar utmärkt engelska. En riktigt bra ur-Tjeckisk krog ca 8m från entrén med fantastisk öl till priser som t o m Tjeckerna tycker är bra! Och åt en god Beef Tartar där.

Great location

Lovely quiet place to stay near the castle. Service was excellent and both people I interacted with were very professional and made you feel very welcome. The hotel is a long steep walk up the hill from the river.

Unique style, clean rooms with excellent views of Petrin tower from our room. Walking distance from Prague Castle and Pohorelec tram stop. Refreshing old style with keys to open doors and creaking wooden floors. Rooms are spacious with nice bedding. Wifi is non-existent and wish rooms were noise proof.

It was quiet and conveniently located for our visits to old town. We had a lovely terrace outside our room overlooking beautiful greenery. There is no lounge for an afternoon cocktail but it wasn’t necessary.

Prachtig hotel op een prachtige lokatie, het lijkt wel een openlucht museum in de omgeving. En meteen goed voor de beenspieren dankzij de heuvel waarop het ligt. Personeel heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Absoluut een aanrader.

Great position near Prague Castle. Although central it is very quiet overlooking fields and woodland. Breakfast was a great start to day with continental breakfast. Staff very accommodating and helped to sort taxi and boarding forms. A definite recommend.

Ein romantisches Hotel - klein aber fein, was alles bietet um einen Aufenthalt in Prag perfekt zu machen. Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende dort - ist aber auch für längere Aufenthalte geeignet, da zentral auf dem Burgberg und doch auffallend ruhig, da die Zimmer nicht zur Straßenseite liegen. Frühstück nett und in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Service sehr höflich. Parkplatz ist schwierig, aber das ist in Prag normal. Insgesamt wirklich zu empfehlen!!

Wonderful stay at Domus Henrici !

We originally were a bit worried about staying up near the castle because of the distance, but it was in fact very easy to get to and from all the attractions in Prague on foot. During our 6 night stay, we mostly walked everywhere. If needed, Tram 22 was great for getting back up the hill after a late evening out. I have only good things to say about this hotel. Friendly service, spacious and inviting breakfast area with good variety of food choices, spacious and inviting rooms (superior room well worth the extra - wonderful views !). We had a very enjoyable stay here and it was always much appreciated to get back to our quiet hotel after a day of sightseeing in Prague's busy tourist areas.

Lovely Stay - Warm and Helpful Staff

We enjoyed our stay in the palatial upper corner room 6, with a lovely view of the monastery and its vineyard! The receptionist was extremely cheerful and helpful, making sure we were well advised on everything from how to operate locks on the older doors and safe, to assisting us with reservations and with a voucher for a free drink at a monastery restaurant with a splendid city view! We were also delighted that the hotel was such a short downhill walk from the Porodurec tram station serviced by the #22 and #25 lines, so at the end of a long day of sightseeing, there is a simple and very inexpensive option to hop on a tram to take you uphill and close to the hotel. The bonus is that you can pass the small bodega on the left (even smaller on right) side of the street to purchase water or treats at non-tourist prices! If you are arriving by car, park briefly to unload bags and get directions to the parking available at a reduced rate at a nearby hotel a few minutes walk away. Though the receptionist did provide me with a map and instructions on how to get there, it is a driveway that would be easy to miss for most drivers new to the area. As you approach the hotel, which is on the corner, you will see the driveway, right on the corner, resembling a pedestrian walkway, and not much wider.

Splendid view from the terrace, and you can have a breakfast there. My first impression was that location was not good since it is far from the central station; but it turned out that the location is very convenient to walk around the west side of the city, where the Prague castle is.

Wir waren zweimal da und kommen wieder!!!

Man muss gut zu Fuss sein, dann hat man einen traumhaften Aufenthalt mit schönem Blick, großen Zimmern, hervorragendem Frühstück nahe der Prager Burg und doch ruhig und familiär. Nur die Treppen auf den Hradschin hinauf sind eine gewisse Herausforderung, aber auch Training nach einem sättigenden Essen.

Lovely place to stay

This place was welcoming and beautiful! The staff were friendly and the entrance was always so fragrant with whatever candle they had our. Breakfasts were delicious too. The nearby area is all you can hope for being both close to everything and away from the early morning/late night hustle. The rooms were a little loud between neighbours but nothing exceptionally more than any hotel offers. Sadly our room was beside the electrical room and the doors are loud when inside the room. I would most definitely stay here again! :)

Thank you very much for your nice review. I am just confused what you mean "our room was beside the electrical room" as we do not have any technical room here. The hotel was fully occupied so the door to the terrace entrance has been used very offen. That might be the noise. What a pity you did not let us know imediately, we would do our best to fix it.

Achei o café da manhã bem farto. O quarto era super espaçoso, mas a cama não era de casal. Eram duas camas de solteiro juntas e isso foi um pouco desconfortável. Eu achei uma das meninas da recepção que me ajudou com o cofre muito simpática as demais achei um pouco secas.

Confortable hotel close to the castle.

We recently stayed at this great hotel. From the time I booked it the hotel staff was very attentive and even booked a taxi for us, which also he was a pleasure to meet and have him take us to the hotel, his name is Mr. Milan Brumovsky. The hotel is supper clean, with spacious rooms, the breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of food. Also the hotel is at walking distance from the castle ( around the corner, literally ) five minute walk. I do recommend this hotel and also the taxi driver, he is a gentleman.

Hotel was quaint. Right in the heart of castle district. Rooms were immaculately clean and staff was friendly. Also great breakfast. Much better than a more expensive historic hotel we stayed at in Vienna.

Awesome hotel near the old city

A little boutique hotel just a short walk away from the castle, Charles Bridge, museums and old town. The hotel staff were always friendly and gave me good advice on tours and travel in Prague. The room was very large with a terrace that looked over a valley.

Great charming discovery, near everything, but qui

Fantastic, charming, friendly They are very real, love Americans, friendliest and most charming place I have stayed in many years of traveling. Very helpful coordinating bus trips, misc services outside of the hotel. No extra hidden charges for anything. Great and simple breakfast. No request was too small for them to solve quickly with great enthusiasm. We will always stay there when visiting friends and family in Czech.

Perfect B and in with a perfect location in Prague

See above. We loved this small hotel and it's location. It was a great value for the price. We missed having too warm a covers on our bed and thought we needed a fan. On checkout we were told they had both and only needed to as. Foolish of us not to ask, as they seemed to grant our every wish. We would stay there again.

Great choice if you want simple, quiet comfort.

Prague is a wonderful place but its also a bit of a tourist trap. The most exquisite looking hotel or restaurant easily turns sour when you realize its actually a tourist mill with terrible, overpriced service plastered with window dressing. The Domus Henrici thankfully was not like that at all. It is a genuinely pleasant to stay in. The room we stayed, the double deluxe room, was large, airy, very quiet, and had great view. The rooms a very simply, but practically furnished so there is no clutter and feels very clean. The bathroom had a big tub that our toddler absolutely adored. Indeed, after staying in several places around Europe, the Domus H. was clearly his favorite place. If you are trying to avoid the tourist trap while still being in the most beautiful part of the city, this seems like an excellent choice.

Beautiful country views in heart of Prague

Loved this hotel. Can't recommend it enough. Rooms simple with a plantation feel and very comfortable with a warm homely feel from the moment you step inside your room. Felt very safe here too. Staff friendly. Breakfast - great. Less than 5 mins walk downhill to castle. With Google map on your phone you will soon find where to get trams to chosen destination. If eating out close by, try restaurant U Labuti along from Castle entrance -fantastic food. Inexpensive - you will want to go back every night.

A former palace with four great bedrooms. Owner is terrific. Highly recommend.
