I stayed for a night before heading to Vieques. The location was excellent, and I had a real blast at the waterpark that I didn't expect. I had requested an electric kettle and a microwave, and they promptly provided them. All the staff were kind, but I wish the front desk staffs could be a bit friendlier. Besides that slight letdown, I'd love to visit again."

Beautiful Location. All rooms look to the ocean. Do not forget to use the funicular to travel to the water park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants were available no need for a reservation. Food was delicious. Check out was easy.

This is our second time staying at El Conquistador Resort and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. They have Great restaurants, really good shopping on premise, and great activities to do on the Palomino Island.

Amazing place, we’ve been there several times. But one default I would say, I had 2 kids under 2yrs old and ran out of playpen/cribs - my response to them is a beautiful place making all of this money, couldn’t send a manager with a company credit card to get one? Lol

The hotel had a hard time finding the reservation, it took them 30m. We paid $400 more on top of the reservation to get a suit. The suit was in very poor condition. The room needs updating. Handle of shower was broken. The door to the shower was hard to close and the water would come out from the bottom of it. The AC in the main room was not working properly, it was humid even after calling to get it serviced. The sofas/chairs had stains on them. The sofa bed mattress was old enough to the point you can feel the springs. Extremely disappointed in that sense. The elevator was not working when we arrived and the funicular got stuck while going down. The hotel will not allow you to reserve a spot to go the Palomino Island before arrival. We were lucky to the get a reservation for 1:30 pm the next day. By the time you check in most reservations are gone. The rest of the hotel is nice / clean.

We had a wonderful experience. We just weren’t thrilled that they closed down half of the property for a private event for 2 of the days we were there. Also, this event was incredibly loud all day long.

The property is beautiful and carefully maintained. There is a bit of walking involved as the property is massive. What made our stay superb was Ms. Gloria at the front desk and Ralph’s, the bellboy. These two individuals stood out for their superb customer service and their attention to the guests. The smile on their faces everything I approached them, and it was several times, is commendable. They are the face of a hotel focused to customer care. The entire staff is very, very welcoming but Gloria and Ralphie were superb. On my next visit, which will be soon, I’ll be sure to ask for them to assist. I hope management recognizes these two individuals. I also posted on social media my experience in this hotel as my family and I will definitely return. What an amazing time at El Conquistador!!!!!!

Staff on property were rude and inconsiderate. Check in took over 2 hours. Palomio island was unavailable due to capacity issues with their broken down boats. Resort is incredibly mismanaged and it’s a shame because it could be incredible.

El sitio hermoso, pero super lentos para atender, nos tomo mas de 1 hora para hacer check in, un sitio de este tamaño debe tener mas personal, fuimos a el restaurante mexicano y se tardaron caso 40 min en tomarnos la orden y 1 hora en traernos la comida y cuando llego estaba equivocada la orden, la Comida estaba ok, pero si les falta mejor atencion y mucho mas personal.

The money that you spend on this place is not worth it with the service provided. It's understood that at times, items go out of order and break down, but this places had no back up plans. Property owner seems to care more about himself and his family than the paying visitors. He even stepped in front of the lines to get to Palomino island, in front of those waiting for hours to get there without a care in the world. I'm glad to say that due to myself and family, some rules changed to benefit others. Gerardo Ortiz, you should be glad that your so called security was called when I started complaining and that I have that much respect for employees.

Sad to say because as a native of PR being there for the first time in my 45 years woth my son and fiancee was disappointing. There was a cockroach in our room and for the 3 day 2 night stay no room service at all to change sheets, take out trash, etc. Also, the attraction being the provaye island was a difficult task to get to and on off. Every restaurant extremely slow and not great food for what you pay. On a positive note, most resort staff friendly and willing to help in need of assistance.

While beautiful, i would not recommend staying at this resort. I booked it for a special family trip to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. The entire point of a resort is to be able to relax and have everything at your finger tips. This was not the case at this resort. All of their restaurants require prior reservations if you would like seated in a timely fashion. Their private island is the only place on the resort you will find a beach and the ferry to take you there also requires a reservarion. I asked at check in (which took an hour) how far in advance we needed to book the ferry and was told 30 min. The next morning, i called to make a reservation for later that afternoon and was told that the only availability was the day before we left, at 2:30pm. This means that we would get one trip to the beach for a couple hours (you need to be on the ferry to leave by 5pm) during our entire almost week long trip. We decided to do our best and enjoy the pools and visited a local beach in the mean time. We showed up to our reservation for the ferry and was told it had left/was full. There was another guest who had been there for 2 hours past his reservation. Turns out people can get on and off the ferry without a reservation because no one is checking. I paid a lot of money for this resort and had i known this would have been my experience, i would have booked elsewhere and enjoyed the public beaches for alot cheaper.
