This was a great overnight stay with a clean and cosy room. The owners and staff were very nice and made sure we were looked after as we travelled from far and also had to leave early in the morning. The room had every thing you needed with toiletries, tea and coffee making, and extra heater if needed and they had thought of the customer at all times. The food at the pub was excellent and we old definitely visit again.

Wonderful Stay at The Labouring Man
Really lovely stay at The Labouring Man. The room was a great size, well presented, very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were warm and inviting (good food). Very welcoming and friendly service. Will definitely return.

Fabulous stay and excellent accommodation and food
4 nights of comfort and fabulous food. Couldn't make breakfast but was given a suitable packed breakfast that just hit the spot. Evening meals of the home cooked range were fabulous.

A credit to the B&B and local pub industry
Mini break for my 50th. Beautiful pub and accommodation with real local charm and such hospitality and generosity. Thank you Martin, Lynn and team for making my stay so memorable.

Lovely local pub with rooms.
Excellent staff, great rooms, very clean and tidy. Locals were very nice too. Breakfast was really good and so nice to get the toast with the breakfast so its still hot! Good parking.

Inside and outside seating were lovely. A perfect escape. Away from the main road, but not too far. Intelligent personable staff and a wide variety of welcomed customers. Plan to stay again.

A gem of a pub
A gem of a pub, with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean the breakfast was of a good quality. The views over the Downs are gorgeous. My husband enjoyed the choice of ales. Very good value for money, would visit again

Lovely pub in rural location
Excellent pub with friendly owners in a convenient location. Very clean spacious room with all that we required. Wonderful home cooked food and comfortable bed/good shower. Lovely to also have a sofa in the room. only minor issue was bedside lamp had dodgy connection and there is some outside noise. \given that it is a popular pub that 's probably not unreasonable!

Friendly, comfortable place to stay
Second time I have stayed here. Ideal position for visiting Arundel and surrounding area. As before we were made very welcome and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day.

The staff at The Labouring Man were very helpful and the food was excellent. The room we stayed in was lovely. I would definitely recommend a stay here, or even just a meal at this venue. I wish we had arranged to stay a couple more nights

Highly recommend for females travelling alone
Lovely little pub great room quite large very clean. Lovely helpful couple who run it. As a female business director travelling alone i felt very safe and cared for.

A great find, we will be back
Accommodation was excellent value for money. Very pleasant, spacious room, tastefully decorated, with really comfortable beds and the bonus of a large Freeview TV. The evening meal we had in the pub was nice as was the inclusive breakfast the next day. The staff are lovely and made us feel valued and very welcome. Couple of slight drawbacks - internet connection was very patchy and we couldn't get online in our room (owner apologised and explained the reason). Other slight issue was that we had a very wet bathroom floor. We dried it ourselves with the bath mat provided, we later discovered that it was probably due to the glass shower screen not being watertight. Neither of these problems were major for us and would not put us off visiting again. Overall an excellent place to stay within easy reach of Arundel and Chichester.

Pleasant, comfortable and very clean twin room with ensuite. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I can't comment on the restaurant - we were unable to get a booking as it was fully booked so it must be very popular. I would stay there again.

A nice pub with rooms. The room was nice and comfortable and looked to be recently refurbished. Friendly helpful staff. Good food available. However the WiFi in my room was too weak to be useable. (Fortunately the phone signal was good so I could use my phone as a hotspot.) Note that the hotel isn't actually in Pulborough as stated in the address included in the listing but it's in a village called Coldwaltham a couple of miles away.

A perfect place to stay
Nice room with parking right outside. Such a lovely local pub with excellent food choices in the restaurant, cooked perfectly also very good value. Fun pub atmosphere which is down to the the owners who make it so welcoming also lots of little touches that show. Good breakfast with a few choices all cooked to order. Area nice with plenty of walks nearby.

Can't wait to return and stay longer!
Amazing stay! We were here over night for a family thing. The room was ready so we could check in early which helped our day tick by much easier. The room was spotless and just perfect for what we needed. Our hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The food is brilliant (we ate lunch) and reasonably priced, the amazing breakfast was included in our room rate.
