This Taj hotel is the black sheep of the family. Dated and in dire need of refurbishing. The room seemed tired and the sheets were old and worn. This is not the Taj I’m used to. I thought the Taj group was renowned for quality. What happened here? Breakfast was good and staff friendly but oh ….. dear. Please drop this sad excuse of a Taj Hotel from your portfolio.

Oldest 5 star hotel in Pune. Room was very clean and comfortable. Some things at the hotel a bit dated. But never affected my stay adversely. Good value when you book on Expedia.

Taj is known for its service and the rest of the competition doesn’t even come close! It’s the attention to the details that makes the difference and that is ingrained in the staff - Aabid Shenaz and Neha at front desk and Dimple and Balaji in latitude restaurant are prime examples. Excellent and Typical TAJ way of hosting and living. Jayesh from Bar is wonderful and the Check-in was also managed within 3 minutes flat by Sakshi and Abid, brilliant experience despite all COVID precautions/signatures. Lunch at Hotel restaurant was an okay experience from Service standpoint !! Food delicious, thanks to Chef. Thank you TAJ Pune.

Outstanding Hotel with terrific location
Staff at this particular Hotel are amazing, everyone being very helpful. The room in the hotel is very quiet, we didn’t hear other guests when they came in and presumably they could not hear us. The Hotel is well maintained and very clean, with an amazing breakfast a great selection of both western and local.

It was an extremely comfortable stay. Suniel from house keeping was very friendly and helpful - such a lovely person. The food was excellent and the desk and chair in the room was so comfortable for work, I had mostly been working out of restaurants during my trip.

Best 5* in Pune!!!!
Another thumbs up for the Taj group. This Taj hotel is the best hotel in the best location of Koregaon Park in Pune. The service from the staff was absolutely spot on. Special mention must be made of Mr Sheikh in Reception and Suneil and Mastan from Housekeeping who added some extra decorative touches . The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful in terms of service, variety and taste. Special mention must be made of Chef Girish and others from the team especially Bablu, Sundar, Ishwar, Pankaj and Vicky. Chef Girish prepared some great dishes from the live counter. He was very open to feedback and took our comments on board regarding having a healthy section at the breakfast buffet. This was based on our experience at the Taj in Coimbatore and Taj Club House Chennai, All in all a wonderful experience making it an easy choice for our stay in Pune.

Some smell that usually is present in attics or a room not used for a long time. This was evident in the hallway leading to the room and to the room itself. Hard to describe. Is it HVAC? I am comparing it with typical USD 100 to 200 per night hotels in the US.

luxury and comfort
Had a luxury suite which was lovely. with steam bath and giant tub. Very nice. It's traditionally decorated which I prefer to ultra modern look, and all in all a delightful stay. Complimentary fruit and wine was also much appreciated. The food was excellent as well.
