The hotel location is very safe and convenient. The breakfast is delicious, both the free option and the upgrade options. The staff is professional, helpful, and considerate.

Excellent location! Staff were good but not always available at reception as it is a small hotel. The room I had was quite small, but perfect for a solo traveller (I don't know if all the rooms are that size). It was clean. There had been some updates but shows some wear. I would recommend it if you prioritize good location and cleanliness at a good price. No bells and whistles, but I stayed 3 nights during Carnaval and was happy staying here. Oh! No elevator.. and most rooms are up at least one flight of stairs so be aware depending on your luggage situation.

Upon our arrival, the front clerk was not totally friendly, the bed are a bit hard. The hotel is nicely located within the old QUEBEC.

This hotel is a Gem, the rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and has everything you need, the reception are is clean and organized, the Staff is very charismatic and helpful, the hotel is very well located, I highly recommend this hotel!

Good location, proximity to restaurants and amenities, the room it self was clean (apart from ants in the bathroom) and nice, the beds creek so much is impossible to sleep, the neighbours' conversations can be heard through the walls, is a nice place if you do not mind not sleeping, the best part about it is the breakfast option we opt for breakfast included and it was AMAZING, the little restaurant Sagame is next door, the voucher included breakfast and a hot beverage or you can upgrade and use the voucher towards your choice of à la carte, is a reg breakfast eggs toast meat, fruit, potatoes coffee or tea. Great hot delicious breakfast was worth the squeaky bed.

Like many properties in the Old City, parking does not come included -- and that's fine; you just have to know that going in. Apart from that, the location is fantastic with tons of sights, restaurants, and shopping steps away. Very walkable. Great Wi-Fi, too. I enjoyed my stay!

The room was relatively clean but run down. There was no closet or dresser to hang up clothing only a three hooked coat rack and a chair. There was nowhere to put our suitcases. I asked the woman at the desk if they had a suitcase stand we could take up to our room and she just stared at me confused and said that "We don't have those"? I was very surprised that this is a hotel that doesn't have suitcase stands, a closet or dressers? With it being Winter it was difficult to manage our coats and extra clothing without a hanging space, dresser or suitcase stand. They also didn't replenish toiletries or clean glasses so there was an overflowing sm garbage can and dirty glasses and coffee cups that had never been changed out for the duration of our four day stay. We had a great time in Quebec but I'm sorry to say our hotel was a bit of a disappointment. It could be a great place with a little bit of work. I wish them the best.

Great stay
Checking in is directly at the Hotel and NOT where it’s mentioned on the Hotels.com confirmation. Call the hotel to confirm. Room was nice and clean with a small fridge and coffee maker. Stairs are to be expected. The hotel is very well located on the main street just inside the city walls. The only thing i would change is the emergency exit sign located INSIDE the room itself.

Convenient hotel in a historic building within the walls of the old city...perfect spot for exploring Old Quebec on foot! Friendly staff and comfortable accommodations in a stone building with wooden beams...nice and quiet considering how close we were to everything. Would stay again!

The location is amazing! I can’t find any hotel in this neighborhood for such reasonable price! However there were many dust in the room, staircases. I found many hairs in a hairdryer and on the floor… I wish it had been cleaner!

Property was fine, but we were sent the wrong code for the front door on our first day of stay and we were unable to check in & had to book a different hotel last minute. We called the emergency phone number multiple times, but nobody answered which is concerning in case there is a more dire emergency. There was also no wifi our entire stay. When we asked about the wifi, they said they would check on it but it would probably not come back on until the next day, which is ridiculous.

It was a good stay. Our Room is larger than expected. I think, it could be better if they can provide elevator. I find the stairs scary and feel bad for those old folks that need to go on the stairs if their room is on the 3rd floor. Ours was on the second floor.

This very central location was perfect for our one might stay in Quebec City. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable; we combined our personal needs into one smaller suitcase because I had read about steep stairs. Was a wise decision. No one at the front desk upon our departure but there was a phone number to call and I just left the keys there. I would stay here again.

Bad service and tiny room.
Room was very small and sink was in the room. There was no one at desk at night 10pm-9am. Shower broke and made crazy sound over night then no one to ask for help. Called numbers on the paper but no answer and other location was not in business. Bed was not comfortable, location was good. Receptionist one was kind and other person was unkind. Hard to communicate if you do not speak French. I wish I booked other hotel then I would have a better memory and experience.

Ok for the couple of days spent enroute to my cruise trip. Didn't like climbing the steep stairs to the 2nd floor carrying a 30 lbs suitcase. Having a standby person to be tipped and to assist with luggage especially for seniors like myself would have been great. No bath gel; we had to make do with shampoo.

The location is impeccable being right inside the old town, but don’t expect too much elsewhere. The high price tag is for the location and location only, if you need a comfortable stay it’s better to stay somewhere else.

We found this a good place to stay. It is in the old city, there are lots of beautiful things to see and do in walking distance. We are fit oldies so had no problem with the stairs at the hotel but they may be challenging for some people with heavy suitcases. There is no elevator. The street stays alive and noisy well into the night. We would stay here again.

Nice property. 3 flights of stairs, no valet parking, no hair dryer or ironing board, staff is rude and absent most of the time. The hotel is very convenient and easy to find dining, shopping, transportation and interesting sites to explore. I would not utilize this hotel again because of absent staff and no valet parking.

Ovwrall, 'm going to give it a 3.5 star. We phoned the after-hour phone number (as it suggests) however, when we did nobody answered. The afterhour number rings at the front desk when nobody is there to answer it!!? Kureig machine in our room didnt work either. Positive side, was clean, very quiet, quaint, central to all shopping, access to many restaurants as well as its location being central in old Quebec City. Loved it all

For the price it was exactly what we had imagined. It is conveniently located; which is crucial when visiting Quebec City and underground parking for $20 per day was a 10 min walk away.

Unfortunately we were given a room 5 feet from the reception desk. The room was on the bottom floor had a very strong musty smell. The window would not open and was attached to an alley and fire escape that was very dirty. Very early in the morning was very loud and disruptive. Staff advised they did not have another room. We were reserved for 4 nights but after the first night could not stay another and left.

Overall good. Our room was large with two double beds. The sink was outside of the bathroom. A little dated and tired but comfortable. There is no elevator and three floors. The hotel should be clearer that there is no elevator and that the front desk is not manned overnight. We didn’t know what to do with our keys when we left.
