Kia Ora, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us at the Esplanade Queenstown. We value all feedback and are terribly sorry to hear you found issues with the hot water and heating. With regards to the hot water, we are currently in the process of gaining approval from all owners to upgrade facilities to a califont system, whereby hot water is available on-demand and therefore unlikely to ever run out. Furthermore, as for the heating, the heating is set before our guest's arrival, and whilst the underfloor heating should heat the entire apartment, there are oil column heaters in each bedroom ready to use if the bedrooms are below temperature. Of course, due to the rooms being slightly colder than usual, these should have been set up by us prior to releasing the door codes. As for the beds and linen, we have forwarded these concerns to our housekeeping department for further investigation as these are the first complaints of this nature. Thanks for your review and we are sorry to hear you ran out of hot water while staying at Esplanade Queenstown. We do have an after hours phone number for emergencies when guests may require assistance after 8pm and before 8am. We are sorry to hear that you couldn’t reach us, we may have been on the phone helping another guest, but if you would had left us a voice message we would get back to you as soon as we could. Our Housekeeping Manager went to your Villa to check that the hot water was working properly and the water cylinders were properly functioning, and she couldn’t find any propblem with the hot water at all. The cylinder is a standard household sized cylinder as fitted in most residential homes. Taking long showers or baths, plus using the washing machine, dishwasher and/or the washing machine all within a short timeframe, could use all of the hot water in the cylinder. meaning that If this happens you need to wait for about 60 – 90 minutes for the hot water would have been back to refill and reheat Again sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience at Esplanade Queenstown.

Being so clse to the city centre sometimes it can get noisy, but as all of the Esplanade Queenstown Villas have double glazing as soon as you close the windows you won't hear a thing from the outside world.
