We stayed 3 nights. The hotel is close to the public beach and the park entrance (100 - 200 yards). Our room was quiet, well-lit, but small. It came with 2 double (yes, double) beds, a fridge, ice bucket and safe.. There was no place to sit in the room. We'd have preferred 1 king or queen and a table with at least one chair. The shower had plenty of hot water but none in the sink. Per the front desk, this is the way the rooms were designed. The shower stall's tile floor got dangerously slick when wet, but no shower mat was provided; we used the stepout towel as a mat. Probably because the hotel is close to the ocean, used toilet paper was not to be thrown into the toilet but in a trash can next to it. AC worked well; the beds were comfortable. Daily maid service was good. The walk-in closet was quite large with adequate shelves, rods, and hangers. There were plenty of electrical outlets. Rooms and facilities on the second floor, including the pool, did not appear wheelchair accessible. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Common areas were roofed but otherwise open air. We did not eat in the restaurant (meals seemed pricy to us) but did have several beverages. The smoothies were excellent and beer was priced fairly. Free parking was included. In all, the hotel was adequate but nothing special. If we were going back to M-A, we'd look at other places first but would be okay with returning to the Villa Bosque.
