We are very sorry you were disappointed with our business, and frankly, extremely shocked at the description and comments. We just painted and redecorated the entire Cottage room in June. The Cottage is now a wonderful light cream color with silver and blue accents, two skylights and a private screened-in porch. It has its own central heat and air conditioning and a gas fireplace. In the two years we have owned the business we have never seen a cockroach in the entire building, maybe seasonal stinkbugs or a June bug or two. We have quarterly pest control to ensure our guests have as much of a bug free environment as possible. Unfortunately, we can only recommend restaurants based on the quality of food, we are not always familiar with their pet policies and the transition from summer outdoor dining to fall indoor dining often has local restaurants adjusting their policies accordingly. We regret you felt the need to leave without stopping to talk to one of us about your concerns or any questions about your room or the operation in general and hope that you found alternate accommodations more to your liking.
