We stayed in a 'Superior Garden Room' and loved our time here. The staff were fantastic, and incredibly helpful when I initially made a mistake in my booking.
The main restaurant on site was okay, but personally enjoyed exploring other food options on the island. Spaghetti House at the front of the resort was good, as was Kikau Hut up the road. Cococktails was a 15ish min walk away and (while a bit pricey) was a lovely spot for drinks and tapas.
Breakfast was included in our room, and was solid - lots of fresh fruit, cereal and toast options. You could pay for hot food but we made the most of the fresh fruit while we were in the tropics!
The cocktail hour at the onsite bar however was a big hit! $10 cocktails 5-6pm - perfect after an afternoon swim.
The resort offered free beach towels, flippers and snorkels. Snorkels could be borrowed for two hours at a time between 8am-5pm, and the site around the resort was stunning for snorkling. Some that we borrowed didn't quite fit or work well, but we were able to swap it without issue. The beach on the north side was perfect for lounging and swimming, and on the south side was full of beautiful tropical fish!
We hired a car to get around, and were able to park on site without any issue. The bus also comes into the resort, which was also super handy. Lots of kids when we stayed but we didn't mind, and at night was quiet so could sleep soundly.
