Service at this property was truly wonderful, but they are most definitely struggling, doing the best that they can with what they have been given. We booked a family suite, and it would have been okay of we had all young children, but the bunk bed had the cheapest thin mattresses we have ever experienced in a family suite, bad to the point that our oldest child could not sleep on the bunk and so my husband and I ended up sleeping 3 nights camping style, sharing the King (which was going to be our bit of luxury) with our 17 year old. The pool is small but servicable, and the kids had a blast, but the hot tub was not in service and a very unappealing sight (murky). Back doors to get to vehicles is wonderful idea, because parking is very tight, but doors are not helpful if the key cards don't work and once out you have to walk all the way around to get back in. The place desperately needs a refresh, but the price point also reflected that. The breakfast was exactly the same all 3 days, but it was very appealing, the dining room was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and actually served patrons rather than leaving it buffet style (the waffles were beautiful!). And the front desk staff were very welcoming. I gve it a 3 because of the staff, but would have given a 1 if I were rating just for the place itself. Will we return? Not with the kids, and unless the trip were a necessity and no other options were available likely not.

When I checked in and went to my room my TV was not working, no sound. After waiting more than a 1/2 hour for someone to come look and then work on it to no avail I asked for a different room. The clerk wasn't overly willing to do that even though he should have been the one saying we will move you. No assistance to move my items. Second room there were still issues with the TV there. Atleast I could get sound but had to control it from the TV as the remote did not work for that function. Key cards were hit and miss if they would work. The water temperature for the shower was cooler than I bathe my grandchildren in even though you could get hot water at the sink. Hot tub hasn't been working for months but that wasn't stated on the website. The best part of the stay was the woman serving breakfast. The food was good and she was very friendly and accommodating.

Older hotel, smaller rooms, but a decent enough place - would stay again. Only unfavourable thing was the breakfast- it is served to you. We were there with a team and as well there was another team staying. Lineup in the morning was long to get breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels and never experienced this. If the goal is to keep costs down - we did spend around $4200 for two nights - what’s an extra banana?

Hot tub wasn’t working the whole time I was there, fitness room is a treadmill, bench, cable system and dumbbells. Small and cramped. Best part was the breakfast in the morning! The ladies who serve it are friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable.

The hotel overall was just not clean. My kids 10 and 12 didn't even want to sit on the beds. It was one of those places where you look at the carpet and think I will never take my shoes off to walk to the bathroom. That said, we have never dealt with such friendly staff. They were accommodating and helpful and where trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The first room we were given the toilet wouldn’t flush. The bathrooms need to be renovated as they look terrible. The second room given our tv wouldn’t work. Thankfully, the guy from the front desk came to help and got it working. I will not be staying here again as I was disappointed as the hotel was old and a little run down. The fridge and microwave in the room look terrible.

The worst hotel ever stayed at. Arrived to staff who were totally unprofessional. The room was so cold when we arrived it took over 6 hours to warm up. All the food we brought froze in the refrigerator. Lights didn’t work. Had to fix the toilet. Was woke at 130 am to a fire alarm that went on close to 30 minutes. Crack head entered hotel and pulled the alarm. No late night security at the doors to control who enters. No apologies or mention of the inconvenience to being woke up by the alarm upon checkout. For $160 a night don’t waste your time. I wouldn’t stay there for $80 a night. Total lack of management is totally evident at this hotel.

We checked in to find our room uncleaned since the previous guests. When we informed the front desk, they told us that they didn't have cleaning staff, so the would need to put us in a more expensive room and we would need to pay more. After arguing with the front desk, they called their manager to get someone to clean the room with a 2 hour delay. All rooms are very aged, lights not working, carpets are dirty, toilet didn't flush. We found that someone had covered over a smoke detector, most likely so that they could smoke in their room. There were two very friendly ladies that served breakfast, but they did that so that they could limit the portion size and it caused a lineup for breakfast. They did give us a discount for our trouble, but I definitely will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Went here for a quick getaway with the kids and chose this place because of the pool and hot tub. When we got there hot tub was out of order, pool was ice cold.. went back to room after pool to get the kids in the shower to warm up and there was no hot water. Sheets were stained as were the towels. When I brought up the hot water issue in the morning they said "oh sorry to hear". Sadly wont be staying here again.

The hotel room was clean. It was had a gross musty smell that was covered with my Saje Difusser. Fairly outdated. The hallways reeked like cigarettes and weed. Didn’t have any interaction with staff, other than dropping off the room keys. Will probably look elsewhere for my next trip to Red Deer

So I booked this room for my daughter’s tournament as the entire team was staying here. My husband had a heart attack at 10:30 am the day before and we were unable to make it. They would not refund even given the circumstances…… shame on you.

The pictures are nothing like the space. I booked a room with a bunk because it was different for my kids. The bed was so loose. The room was poorly lit, the remote didn’t work for the tv, the kids furniture was beat up. Stains all over the carpets. Walls were so thin. The hot tub wasn’t working, the water slide didn’t work either, the pool room was freezing. We packed the kids up and went to a different pool for the evening. So disappointed.

I and other friends all booked here because they advertised a nice hot tub for us to use for medially required therapy, and the waterslide for kids to enjoy...both of which were not in service,and apparently so for a couple of months! The driveway was very icey and slippery! And they refused to provide a checkout receipt confirming that I had a zero balance with no claims made against the pre-authorization they made against my credit card upon checking in! Otherwise, though dated and with some obvious wear and tear, it was a comfortable room.
