I booked with this Hotel but they sent me to Best Western... I paid with Continental Breakfast but when i got my slip it as no breakfast i even show the reception that stated in my booking...This twice already happened to me so avoid this 2 hotels at all cost. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Avoid! Bed bugs!!!
BED BUGS!!! Avoid at all costs. Staff were very friendly and helpful however at about midnight while watching a movie on my laptop, I noticed something crawling towards my face over the pillow. I quickly swatted it and turned the light on to find a patch of blood and another bed bug sat next to it. Felt very itchy afterwards and couldn't sleep in the bed so slept on a very small, uncomfortable sofa. After finally getting to sleep for an hour my neighbours came back at about 4.45 and despite them being on the floor above and me having my TV on I could hear every word of their conversation.

Would not recommend. No AC/fan during a heat wave! To make matters worse when it was time to show me my room I was taken to a hotel that was not the one I booked under the guise that it’s their “sister” hotel. To make matters worse I had to pay a “deposit”‘that instead of being returned to me during check out I was told would be returned me after 5 working days. The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I don’t see myself returning. Better if staying at ibis budget or some other hotel within a similar price range but much better quality.

Fantastic location for the price
Friendly reception staff. Nice spacious room and location is fantastic with an entrance to Ilford station literally a few doors down from the hotel. Will definitely be returning.

My stay
When I arrived, the on site parking was full. The receptionist, told me, to use the one across the road at Great Western. Their one was also full. But, luckily, a man drove off and I got his space. The receptionist, very kindly, helped to to take my bags up to my room. After she’d gone, I found the shower wasn’t working. She got someone in, the next day, and had it fixed. I found they offered a cooked breakfast, if I wanted it. Also, the staff were very friendly and my room was always kept very clean.

Breakfast was limited no selection offered or options for dietary requirement. Food was always stone cold no matter what time you went. Parking was a nightmare which caused me to damage my car. Area felt very unsafe especially at night lots of undesireables in the area in a property on the ground floor away from the main hotel didnt feel safe. No where to lock valuables despite housekeeping entering the property daily. The room stank of smoke when i entered, the pillows were flat and provided no support. Stains on the carpet and sofa. Chair at the desk was broken. No facilities for the kitchen area had to buy my own. TV wouldnt turn off and little tea and coffee facilities. Shower was unbearable the shower head was broken and the water was extremely inconsitent going from scolding hot to freezing cold. Fire alarm randomly came on one night at 2.30am and there was no notion of what to do where to go, no one came to check on the guests. No bin in room i just had to accumulate rubbish and find a bin on street to dispose of it. Walls are paper thing could hear snoring from room above, everytime they coughed or sneezed. Having to spend 8 days here was nothing short of traumatic! Never again!!!!

We have stayed here many of times but this time we was really disappointed , there was no parking when we arrived , then when we got back from our night out our room key was not working so we have to wait 15 mins for the reception guy to come back from shop , it did say on the desk ring this number which I do many of times but the phone was left at the hotel , then the alarm went off at midnight about 4 times there is now security on the front doors who was so rude to us regarding the alarm and room key , we then had breakfast the nect morning and everything was cold I did ask the kitchen to cook some fresh hot items but they said no . We use this hotel a lot and this time round I am so disappointed such a shame

It was so dirty that we decided not to stay. They cancelled the booking but still charged £49 even though they confirmed nothing will be charged as we are not staying as it’s very dirty and terrible place.

Where is my deposit?!
The rooms stink pretty bad, old, mouldy. The receptionist was pretty rude, except for Peter, he was quite nice and reasonable. You meant to have a pendant £50 deposit charge, but in my case I got charge this extra as I arrived and still haven't got my money back.
