The stay was very good and only mark against the property is the rooms are a little tired and could use an update. Staff was excellent and location is great. Very accommodating as a dog-friendly hotel.

I have stayed here in the past and had fond memories. Unfortunately the place seems a bit run down since that time. As I visited in March in may be that they were just not ready for guests. I had to ask for the room phone to be connected and for some basic dishes and cookware for the kitchen. I had to move my car because they were power washing the building. The place is still in a pleasant and very convenient spot, and the staff were friendly and did their best. But if they were not ready for guests they should not be advertising. I doubt that I will return.

We loved staying here and didn’t want to leave! We had a bayside room with a great view of the bay, birds and sunsets. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. The office staff make check-in and out quick and easy. I highly recommend the Bay Resort.

Quiet and comfortable
Quiet and comfortable place to stay with a nice view of the bay. Most places to eat and socialize are all within walking distance.

Big issue was multiple other guests smoking on the property which was supposed to be non-smoking. Management was great so no issues with the property itself other than the very outdated kitchenette.

Had a great stay. Loved sitting on our balcony overlooking the bay. What we did not like was smoking at the tables right outside the pool area & smoking on the patio below us.

Great location needs updating.
The view from our room was great. Bed was comfortable and sheets clean. The bathroom was tight and appliances were very dated. Staff was very nice. Location was close to everything so it’s a shame that it hasn’t been updated.

Staff is incredibly nice. Views are fantastic. Very close to bars and restaurants. Older hotel but kept up nicely. Only 1 parking space and the lot gets full.

Overpriced crappy motel
I can't believe I paid $350/night to stay here, a poolside king room. My friends on bay side paid $500/night. Old kitchenette, mold in bathroom & hair left behind.. I stayed on pool side which was annoying because pool is only just a few feet away from room. I can't believe they even charge a resort fee for that nightly price and the completely outdated, unclean condition of this motel. The only nice thing was the bay view dock with free paddle boards etc.

We do wish you would have brought these concerns to the front desks attention so we could have addressed them for you during your stay. Just for clarification the paddle boards are not free but you do as a guest of the hotels get a 20% discount when you pay cash.

This property is extremely convenient because it's walking distance from everything. However, our hotel room didn't even offer housecleaning. We found a dirty pair of underwear in the kitchen of the first room. Then, we switched rooms and found random stuff on the floor like pretzels and m&M's. The hotel also didn't have an elevator, which was another inconvenience.

We do offer housekeeping it is offered to you at check-in as well as we have a sign in the lobby explaining the housekeeping's current policy. We were explained by you that you couldn't do the stairs so we moved you not due to cleaning issues, We do wish you would have brought these cleaning issues to the front desk's attention so we could have addressed them for you immediately.

Cozy hotel not far from Rehoboth. You have the hotel on the lake and beach across the street. We had a situation with the toilet in the BR, there wasn't a 24hr Maintenance person, however, Tricia the pm receptionist came to the hotels rescue along with my husband. Thank you Tricia she went above and beyond cleaning that BR after toilet over flowed. So, the next time someone needs Maintenance I hope they are available.

The poolside efficiency room was perfect. It was a short distance to walk to the beach and the pool was refreshing and nicely sized. I would highly recommend this place for its staff and their abilities and friendliness.

This is a more affordable place to stay in Dewey with beautiful views of the Bay, in walking distance to all the action. I can tell they made some upgrades to the pool area since I last stayed here, and hopefully they will continue to make some improvements to the rooms. I'm sure lots of water and sand trek through the carpets and it is starting to show, and the refrigerator was chipped all over the front and seemed to be spray painted poorly. This made a nice place with good people feel cheap. Overall a nice place that i hope continues to improve.
