1830’s B&B Beauty
The house is a very nice 1830’s home with old pine floors and wide trim. The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfasts were very tasty and not over done. The location is very rural and quiet. The room was clean with an en-suite bath and the king bed very comfy. There are two guest rooms on the main floor with no stairs to navigate. The B & B is highly recommended.

Best part of this B&B is the staff. Felt so much like we were staying with friends or relatives. We just felt so welcomed and at home.

Cool old house with heaps of character and the sweetest couple running the place. Had a private sitting room and very comfy bed. Scrumptious breakfast and a card for our anniversary! Would absolutely stay again!

Jeanne and Don were great hosts. The property was very clean and had a welcoming vibe. We arrived later in the evening after they were in bed so she left a paper with instructions on how to get to the room and their phone numbers in case we needed them. Breakfast was great, they were very accommodating, would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Warm, welcoming B&B
A lovely farm house in Rehoboth. We were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic breakfast with other B&B guests. Our room was charming with all the amenities we could want - including air conditioning if required. Our hosts were kind and attentive.

A quiet home style, welcoming B and B.
A perfect place to stay overnight to attend a wedding closeby. Hosts were welcoming and did all they could to ensure our comfort. Very much appreciated them allowing us an earlier check-in. Just lovely!

Delightful couple own this delightful property. Would recommend to any who wish a peaceful long weekend. Great restaurant nearby with 10% off voucher from Gilbert’s. Easy drive to Newport. Hope they get the large swimming pool working for next visit.

Nice B&B-off the beaten path-bed was comfy-bathroom adequate (could use some new towels) Breakfast was standard B&B. House smelled a little musty. I am leaving this review because I was offended when I found that the owners had left an envelope by the bed in case we wanted to show some "extra appreciation." HUH? They are the OWNERS! Asking us to leave them some more money?? We already PAID them. There were no employees cleaning the room! What nerve. Would never return because of this. (maybe they should raise their rates if they are so desperate)

Stayed here before going on a cruise
I was going on a cruise out of Warren, RI and spent the night before my cruise here. It is a lovely B & B. Very welcoming and comfortable. A wonderful breakfast the next morning. I would stay here again if coming through this area. E

Una gran estadía
Nunca imagine estar en un lugar aparentemente apartado de todo me brindara unos días tan agradables como en efecto tuvimos. Pese a estar en el campo estábamos cerca de todo pero con la tranquilidad y belleza natural que rodean este hotel. Sus dueños atentos y serviciales se aseguraron de que tuviéramos unos días inolvidables y unos desayunos en familia muy cálidos. Siempre estuvieron atentos a nuestros gustos y necesidades. Historic home near 200 yrs old. Wonderful people
Jean and Don were so warm and welcoming. Loved the breakfasts each day ( started with fruit, then juice, tea, meat and eggs or pancakes) and they were helpful with things to do in the area. Room was clean and very comfortable. Home had orginal floors, doors and hardware on the doors. So neat to see that all over the home. Could not be happier with this location, owners, bed comfort and over all room.

Hosts are very sweet. Old creaky home with uneven floors in a secluded area but close to Providence. I would recommend this for someone who wants to hang out in Providence but wants to get away from the city at night. Very quiet. Please note, the Queen Room says it features a private patio on the hotels.com description, but it does not. There is a door to the shared patio where there are a few chairs outside. Although it says it's a tree farm, it didn't seem like one.

A Home Away From Home
Jeanne and Don were very welcoming. Our room was homey and cozy. Each morning, we looked forward to eating a delicious, made-from-scratch breakfast with our hosts and other guests. They made us feel extremely comfortable and were always accommodating. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Jeanne and Don were great! Always made sure you had what you needed went out of their way to make you comfortable. Breakfasts we're very filling and tasty in the property was quiet and restful . It was a great place to stay would go back again. Thanks Jeanne and Don it was great to sit and visit with you both.

I was so happy to walk into such a wonderful home. Everything felt period and delightful. Breakfast was made to order. My choice of eggs, toast a fruit salad and juice with sausage. Who could ask for more.

Pleasant stay
My coworker and I were trying to find a hotel close to Foxborough for one night and stumbled upon this bed and breakfast. After arriving late, we fell into our cozy room with private bath. It was everything we needed- comfortable, clean and quiet! The breakfast the next morning was delicious and we enjoyed meeting the nice owners and other guests. Highly recommended!

Wooded Seclusion
Jean and Don are welcoming and charming, and any guest at Gilbert's Tree farm will feel at home right away. It's a quiet spot, surrounded by woods and paddocks, but a good base for exploring southern Massachussetts, as far as Cape Cod, and - to the West - Rhode Island. Breakfast is generous; pancakes are prominent and the coffee excellent.

Good breakfast in a rural location
Hotel confortable, good full breakfast prepared as to guest's choice. Slight cat odor. A bit out of the way. Very clean. Shared bath was clean, shower worked well, towels, shampoo etc provided. Free parking. Rooms upstairs. Owners have operated the B&B many years.

What a B&B should be
We loved being greeted by the hosts Jeanne and Don. Our stay was short but great. Jeanne prepared breakfast for us and sat with us as we enjoyed homemade french toast and sausage. I would recommend this B&B to everyone. Definitely what a B&B should be.

Overnight in MA. A clean orderly B&B
Arriving in late afternoon, we were settled into the room and were directed to a very nice restaurant for out evening meal. The room was well appointed and very quiet. The location is idyllic in the woods. Breakfast was hardy and with the company of the owners.

This B & B was very quaint and had an interesting history. The inn keeper and her husband were helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely stay.

Vi nød opholdet meget. Det e dejligt beliggende i landliggende omgivelser, men tæt på f.eks Newport. Vi fortrød, at vi ikke overnattede flere nætter. Værtsparret er rigtig søde og venlige, og meger behjælpelige med alting. Da vi lige kom fra Boston var det en dejlig kontrast til storbyens larm.

Very Happy with this B&B
The B&B is nestled into a quiet, wooded neighborhood in Massachusetts just east of the Rhode Island line. It is convenient to shopping, the interstate and waterfront. The hosts are a special treat and breakfast was excellent. The beds were good. The room was tight but quite adequate. The house is charming and comfortable. So much better than the sterile hotels that abound in the vicinity.

Lovely B&B in park-like setting
My husband and I stayed at Gilbert's tree farm on June 19-21 (3 nights) and had a wonderful time. We were in the area for a wedding and it turned out two other couples were there for the same reason. We met the most interesting people at breakfast, which was excellent by the way. The property was absolutely gorgeous and we found some wonderful trails just minutes away by car. The owners were super-nice and would do anything to help. I would definitely recommend this B&B highly

This needs to be said
After reading all the reviews, I am getting the impression that noone is willing to say but many are trying to relate that the Gilbert farm is not what is advertised as. First of all, there is a house at the end of driveway, was a farm a 100 years ago. No trails, no walking area around it. The room upstairs is in attic, you can only stand up in one side of the room, window is small. The SAHERED bathroom is behind your wall, so you can hear the other guests going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I get the impression that the owners have not stayed in a BB themselves for the last 30 years. They are older, overall nice people, but are not up to speed as to today's standard. Even though, they are locals, they were not able to provide much information as to what's around the immediate area. The BB has no travel information, booklets or maps. The breakfast is very limited, almost rationed, while sitting at the communal table. hopefully, Hotels.com will indicate that the Gilberts farm has a room option with only a shared bathroom. Finally, the positives: close to the highway.

Wonderful stay at this B & B
We loved the location of the this B & B. Quiet with lovely surroundings. Our host and hostess were so sweet and wonderful. I have never felt so at home in a B & B. I especially appreciated the effort to serve breakfast at our convenience. We had to leave a little early the last morning to be in Newport and we were provided a wonderful breakfast before the normal time. The food was fantastic.

Very comfortable and welcoming
Jean, the innkeeper, was very attentive, but in a non-intrusive way. She called ahead of time to confirm our arrival and ask what our preferences were for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and in a wing all to itself. I would definitely stay here again.

Be prepared to pray at breakfast
A lovely B&B. Hosts attentive, and very accommodating, like to get to know you. Room clean, no a/c. Shared bathroom, not so comfortable when other guests are present. I don't remember reading on the website that the bathroom is shared, although I can be mistaken. You just kind of find out that you are sharing the bathroom with two other rooms when you get there. Very quiet but not much around it. Front entrance sign is tiny, hard to see. Lastly, be prepared to say a morning prayer. Born a Christian but now a practicing Buddist, I am all for praying, just not at the breakfast table. A word of caution to the hosts - not all people will be opened to doing that. Personally, it made me feel uncomfortable.

Enjoyed our stay
This B and B was off the beaten track and well worth our stay. The owners were very accommodating. Since there were no other guests upstairs at the time, we did not have to share the shared bath. That was a big plus for us. It was a good price for a B and B.

Nice place to relax
This bed and breakfast is in the country side, but not off the beaten path. The owners were friendly and familiar with the area. The house has air conditioning, but it was not on during our stay, as the evening temperatures were in the uppers 60s. The windows were wide open and it was comfortable sleeping weather.

Convenient for our overnight stay
We needed a B&B for overnight on our way to Martha's Vineyard, and Gilbert's was only about an hour or so away. Rate was very good. Our room had an adjacent private bath. Had to get there through a common room. No air conditioning, but fortunately didn't need it. The fan would have been too loud to keep on all night. Nice, rustic building but very comfortable. Jeanne and her husband were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good! We would go there again.

Quaint Out of the Way Location
Very nice family run B&B. A little overpriced for a typical B&B Very friendly Owners that provided very good service. Shared Bathroom was a bit of a surprise. Wi Fi was spotty in room....difficult to connect. Pool not available as it was unserviced. All in all a comfortable stay and very clean. By the way...no AC
