The main reason I chose the Quality Inn was because is was a hotel that is nationwide and offered an indoor and breakfast. The motel was a franchise I am sure. Said the e desk was 24hr and Everytime I needed something I had to call a phone # posted at the desk. The pool was not in working order and not in use, and there was a very limited breakfast the first day. And no breakfast the second day . Had bagel no toaster, waffle syrup but no waffles the juice machine u had to run several cups through to get the juice flowing, coffee was ice cold, cereal had 2 diff types in same dispenser with only almond milk available. Very disappointed and when I called the # at the desk no one answered or returned my call when I left a msg. The room looked ok when arrived but later realized that the beds were off, one had one mattress on wooden box the other bed was 3 mattresses on the floor. One bed hard and other bed sink to the middle. Went in to take a shower and noticed a quarter size hole inside the shower that could've very well been a peep whole. We stuffed it with tissue. The towels were yellow and dingy.. overall just very disappointed and know why the hotel was empty. If I would've known the pool was closed and really wasn't a free breakfast available I would have chose a different hotel. I thought that quality inn was a good place being known nationwide but I would not recommend this place to anyone because of the misleading advertisement and the whole in shower was weird

Back door can't be locked, dirty towels and wash cloths when we checked in. Breakfast is virtually nonexistent and that which is available, you're concerned if it has expired or not. Beds are terribly uncomfortable and the pillows are barely thicker than a towel. For the price you're paying, cleanliness should be the bare minimum.

After the first night we started itching and after the second night of not getting any sleep from itching we went to another hotel. No one was at the desk and when you called the number that was left there to call nobody answered. Left a message and was never contacted. Walls had wallpaper pealing off and vent grates missing. Continental breakfast area was dirty. I have been at other Quality Inns over the years and never been to one this disappointing.

The pool was not working and wasnt told until i checked in. It was one of the main reason why I booked. The breakfast was slim to nothing had to go and get breakfast somewhere else. Will not recommend to stay there.

This motel is absolutely horrible. It's completely run down and in serious need of basic maintenance and a serious deep cleaning. There were "No Smoking" signs prominently posted throughout the property, (including in the lobby, hallways, stairwells, and in guest rooms); however, clearly smoking is happening everywhere as it reeked of stale cigarette smoke everywhere, including in our room.  Trash cans were overflowing, the carpets were dirty and in need of replacement, the bathroom floor was dirty upon our arrival, the curtains in our room were nasty, and I could go on and on. Worst of all, we witnessed a drug deal happening in the room next door. Do NOT stay here!  bzamzow@thezap.com

Disgusting, uncleanliness, unsanitary. The cleaning staff don't clean. Woke up with bed bug bites. Popcorn on carpet and sofa. Unthawed ice cream left in lil freezer. Shower wasn't cleaned, ring around the tub and toilet was no better. I will never stay there again and I will inform everyone of their inhospitality.

The lot and building are in disrepair. The inside lobby smelled awful, the lobby. Desk etc. Were dirty and the worker didnt look much better. The pool was not working either. I chose not to stay because of the filth and the worker would not release me from paying for one night. We went down the road and had a great experience. What an awful representation of Quality Inns and i got stuck with a bill as well!!

DONT STAY HERE, the place STINKS horrible, mold in walls. Strong smell of smoke. When checking in no one was at the front desk we had to call a number for someone to come to the front. The room was disgusting. The bed and towels had stains. BIG STAINS. Dirty. The shower was so dirty. The fridge had black stains on it too. As what we can tell those rooms got clean months ago. The Pool is closed. And with locks. Bedding sheets were just nasty. Don’t stay here.

Don’t get cheaper hotel, even in small towns. First, they didn’t let me cancel due to snowstorm, so I drove an hour to this hotel. I went in, can it reeked of smoke. Now I smell like smoke, Then there was a screw intentionally wedged into my deadbolt creating a barrier making it incapable to lock. I ran with fear.

Everything was dirty, sheets, bathroom, carpet, floors, curtains falling off, pool locked off with paddle lock, smelled stale in whole building, room when entered had no heat on was 63 degrees in there and hear was set on off.

Lobby smelled like smoke upon entering. Room was dirty. Food cheerios and other old food pilled under the recliner. Coffee was cold at 8:00am. Hot water for tea was cold. TV was blaring in office when we came to dining area. In fairness the guy did jump up and go to make more but we had to get on the road. Obviously it hadn’t been checked on since it was made. They say you get what you pay for. In this case you get less than you pay for.

This experience was very disappointing. From the very strong odors drifting into our room, to the duct tape on the shower, the door that did not lock, and only 1 pillow for 2 on a king bed plus a few more unfortunate situations we would not recommend staying here.

The room was not dusted, there was food under the bed, there was a dirty ring in the bathtub and the toilet. Chairs were old and "sinking" and the beds were old and sagging

Not as advertised
Advertises indoor pool and hot tub... Not available. Wanted to do a bubble bath, since couldn't soak in hot tub but the tub wouldn't fill because the stopper didn't seal. No blow dryer to dry hair and it's cold out. Provided a bar of hand soap, lotion and conditioner, but no shampoo, had to use hand soap bar.

Do not stay here…staff was super rude, felt like you were an inconvenience. Garbage all over outside, overgrown with weeds, no locks on windows, key entry broke, anyone could access hotel, dirty room…RUN!

The room met our needs though was sparse. Common areas were dirty and unkept. The "breakfast" was a joke. Outside was unkept. Price was low.

We stayed at Quality Inns in Traverse City and Minocqua on our trip and they were the worst hotels we have ever stayed in EVER!!

The condition of the hotel needs improvement. Exterior needs weeds removed. Bathroom needs caulking update lighting fixed. No screen on the window. Someone had opened the window and did not close. There were many bugs in the room when we arrived to our room. Rooms need better cleaning; vacuuming under and behind the furniture.

DISGUSTING
Room given was a queen, not a king as reserved. Room was disgusting. Dirty and smelly. Bathtub was broken and coming apart at the wall. Windows were broken and halls smelled of mildew and rot. We left IMMEDIATELY.

Quality Inn? We think NOT!
We've never complained about a hotel until now. This hotel was TERRIBLE. It needs total updating and new management. We arrived at 1:30 on motorcycles and had been riding through rain. My husband went to ask about getting an early check-in. He was rudely ignored by the man at the front desk. After standing there for ten minutes, he was told that we couldn't check in until 3:00. There was no place to sit in the lobby to wait because all of the chairs were placed upside down on the tables. At 2:30 the we were told we could check in. Our room was supposed to be a king suite. When we arrived, the door was unlocked and the deadbolt didn't work. The bed looked very messy, curtains were falling off the wall, paint was badly chipped, and the receptacle in the bathroom had no power. We were moved to a queen suite - desk person wouldn't give a reduced rate for the downgrade. Said it was the same price. This room was missing a nightstand, table/chair, cups, and drain for tub was on top of the toilet. Swimming pool and hot tub were out of order. Door to them was padlocked. We had no option to move to a different hotel due to the rain and it was too far to drive home especially since we had been driving in the rain already for several hours. Our advice: Without any updating, or new ownership, DO NOT STAY HERE! Quality Inn? We think NOT!
