Simply wonderful
Excellent hotel at the heart of Rhodes Old Town. The breakfast was excellent and the service even better. There is a late charge for flights arriving past a certain time, which is €40 however they do share this on their website. The staff couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful. Quiet hotel too - we never heard any of the other guests.

Ideal location for exploring the old town
This is a lovely boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the most amazing breakfast. The location was excellent for all the major sites within the old town. My only complaint is that it was only after we booked our stay that a surcharge appeared for our late arrival and, when we were checking out, only then were we told we had to pay in cash. A visit to an ATM meant we missed our planned transport to Lindos. This info needs to be clearly stated.

Regarding the late check in fee, we have it mentioned upon booking, but we will do our best to have it more clearly stated, so our guests are very well informed. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely concerned about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is located in the midst of old Rhoades town which is a fantastic well preserved medieval city. It is easily walkable with excellent restaurants and narrow streets lined with shops as well as broader streets to view the palace, fortifications, and Street of the Knights. The hotel is itself is in an historic building. From the outside it looks medieval. However, our room was spacious with as the modern amenities. We even had a steam room! The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was served in a lovely courtyard. The food was delicious and plentiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel!

We could not say enough about how special our stay was at the Allegory Hotel. Constantina and Caliope and the rest of the staff treat you like family. It is as close to staying with your closest friends as you can get. In addition, the planning assistance is fantastic and the breakfast was unmatched.

Great location. No noise from street. Konstantina and Calliope were excellent hostesses. The hotel is adorable but the staff is what makes it shine.

I cannot rate this property highly enough. Fantastic setting, beautiful rooms and the most wonderful staff. Konstantina was so helpful and ensured I had a delicious vegan breakfast every day. A small slice of heaven.

Great location and staff in Rhodes
Absolutely perfect spot inside old town. Facilities were great and the service was superb. As a very frequent traveler, I would recommend this place to family and friends looking for a relaxing and convenient location in Rhodes.

Wonderful place to stay
We had a wonderful time at Allegory. Everyone there was extremely hospitable and made us feel welcome and at home. It is a beautiful hotel, extremely well maintained, and in a very good location in the Old Town. Walking distance to all the main sites, but peaceful and quiet at night. We will certainly return to Allegory for future visits to Rhodes.

Die Kommunikation war bereits vorab sehr gut und professionell, der Empfang herzlich und der Aufenthalt lies keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt von Rhodos-Stadt und dennoch ist es relativ ruhig, die Isolierung der Zimmer hervorragend und man bekommt nichts mit von den umliegenden Zimmern. Der Zustand und die Reinigung der Zimmer waren perfekt. Und alle Angestellten sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zum Frühstück gab es Kaffeespezialitäten, Brot, Crêpes, Konfitüren, Joghurt, Obst, Gemüse, was das Herz begehrt. Natürlich auch griechische Aufschnittspezialitäten. Außerdem hat man die Möglichkeit anzugeben wenn man eine besondere Form der Ernährung befolgt, aber auch ohne es anzugeben dass ich mich vegan ernähre, bin ich lecker satt geworden. Ich kann dieses Hotel vom Herzen empfehlen wenn man eine sehr schöne und individuelle Betreuung im Urlaub genießen will!

Location was ideal to explore the Old Town and the hotel is charming. There are some improvements. The shower water leaks on the floor and the walls are very thin that you can hear everything happening outside of your room.

Anything we say about this hotel is not going to do it justice. Our stay here was fantastic! The hotel itself is located in a very picturesque part of the Old Town in Rhodes Town within walking distance from all the main streets. The location is very quiet which is fantastic when you are trying to relax on vacation. The architecture of the hotel is very unique as it feels you are staying in a castle. A table with chairs is located right outside your room where you will be having your breakfast or drinking your coffee without having to worry about finding a seat or trying to locate where breakfast is served. The breakfast is out of this world as well with fresh fruit and spreads provided that will make your experience very memorable. Where this hotel however really signs is its staff. Mrs. Konstantina took super good care of us. From the moment she came and picked us up at the gate to the Old Town with a little electric gold car (cars are not allowed in the Old Town except for very early in the morning) the quality of service you will see the quality of service you will be receiving. Mrs. Konstantina organized our beach day without us having to lift a finger. Anything we needed she was more than happy to help us with. The hotel even arranges for a doctor to come to the premises to do COVID testing, if necessary for your upcoming return flight. We certainly look forward to going back again! Do not hesitate to book at this hotel and you will not regret it!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff. As far as boutique hotels go this hotel is very nice, and its location in the beautiful old town of Rhodes has alot to do with its general charm . The location in Rhodes old town is special and the place has every amenity - including good wifi, excellent temperature control, nice amenities. But the exceptional staff are what we will remember. The women who run this place are hospitality epitomized. They were each unique and each contributed to make our stay fantastic. We felt embraced and cared for and there are not enough words to explain the value of this kind of warm hospitality.

What an amazing hotel!! Honestly, I would say it was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The location was brilliant being within Old Town Rhodes; not too quiet and not too noisy. Staying in the medieval town, surrounded by the architecture and history was a great experience. All of the staff (particularly Sofia and Marietta) were outstanding. They made sure we were comfortable and offered advice on where to go and how to get there. Constantina and the lovely hotel cleaner/chef were also incredibly kind and helpful. They were all so welcoming and provided such a friendly service where nothing was considered too much :) Every morning we looked forward to the delicious homemade breakfast, it was presented beautifully and all tasted amazing. My sister and I stayed here for 6 nights, and we can truly say we would recommend The Allegory boutique to anyone. We felt safe, cared for and welcomed. A big thank you to all of the staff for making our first trip to Rhodes so wonderful xx

A small luxury boutique hotel in a historic building. Attention to detail and personalised service that most 5 star hotels would have difficulty emulating. A must stay for an discerning traveller.

Truly a luxury boutique hotel with personalised service. Most 5 star hotels would have difficulty coming close to this property. Attention to detail across all areas- super soft towels, Korres toletries, plump pillows, comfy bed, large rain shower and the list goes on and on A must stay for any discerning traveller.

Loved this hotel
Had a wonderful time in Rhodes. This hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Host was charming and helpful.

Obviously you haven't noticed while booking through expedia that there is a late check in fee of 40 euro for checking in between 9:00pm until 6:00am and it is WRITTEN IN OPTIONAL EXTRAS PARAGRAPH. However we feel sorry for your confusion. Thank you.
