The staff was very helpful and polite However, the hotel would close the air conditioning in the middle of the night , at different hours. How ridiculous? Especially during this summers heat wave! Lounge chairs are for all hotel guests . I was so disappointed , it is definitely not a 5 star hotel .

Apollo Blue Baujahr: 2008, verdient leider keine 5 Sterne. Die Anlage ist schön (von aussen) und sauber. Aber... innen sieh die Anlage genauso alt und kaputt wie das Schwesterhotel Apollo Beach (Baujahr: 1975). Möbel dunkel, Kühlschrank (bestimmt aus 70 Jahren letzten Jahrhundert so wie es aussieht)brummt in der Nacht sehr laut, macht alle 5 Minuten so ein "kratzenden" Geräusch, dass man jedes mal erschreckt. Badezimmer ist zwar mit Badewanne und Dusche ausgestattet, ist mit so schwachem Licht, dass man keine Spiegel braucht - man sieht sowieso nichts. Nach dem Duschen steht das gesamte Bad unter Wasser - ist das jetzt normal für 5*? Und der richtige Knaller sin die Zimmertüren - die knallen so richtig richtig laut und zwar man muss sie manchmal 2-3 mal mit Wucht zuschlagen, um Zimmer zu schließen - um 6-7 Uhr morgens ist super Weckdienst. Die Strandtücher kann man zwar jeden Tag wechseln, aber die sind so "abgenutzt" - wir sprechen über 5*. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind zwar nett anzuschauen, sin aber nicht hilfsbereit, besonders wenn man kurz von der Abreise steht. Wir waren mehr male in Apollo Beach - ein altes 4* Hotel, war in diesem Jahr komplett ausgebucht, da mussten wir ausweichen, aber ich würde das nicht nochmal machen - leider ist das Hotel Apollo Blue mit 5* ausgezeichnet, mit entsprechenden Zimmerpreisen, entspricht einem guten 4* mit Abstrichen.

Disappointed. Cannot be compared to other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The main building was good but lacked atmosphere in communal areas. Location was excellent, right on the beach and only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Pool area was very good and clean. Rooms tired looking need upgrading. Water in shower was not consistent, went from cold to scolding without warning. Bath water was brown ! Room cleaners were very friendly. Sister hotel Apollo Beach was a 4 * which had much more atmosphere but the entertainment when we visited was German. It appears that both hotels cater for German tourists. Would not return.

Hôtel très propre bien entretenu, petit déjeuner copieux, staff pro, très bien situé. MAIS si vous êtes francophone, il vous faudra parler allemand ou un minimum d'anglais. En effet nos "amis" allemands, après avoir contribuer à ruiner la Grèce, adorent se faire servir par ceux qu'ils ont traités de fainéants. La clientèle de l’hôtel est en majorité teutonne......

Ein wirklich klasse Hotel mit sehr gepflegter Anlage. Ein Zimmer mit Terrasse zum Pool ist in jedem Fall zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, die größtenteils gut Deutsch sprechen können. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Da wir abends immer auswärts gegessen haben, kann ich das abendliche Gastro-Angebot nicht bewerten. Die Lage ist optimal: Das Meer ist direkt vor der Tür, Restaurants fußläufig. Zu meckern gibt es wenn, dann nur Kleinigkeiten, z. B. dass die hoteleigenen Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand nur den All-inclusive-Gästen vorbehalten sind. Vor allem bei geringer Auslastung eine nicht notwendige Regelung.

Bilan très mitigé de notre séjour dans cet hotel. Ce n’est aucunement un 5 * Nous avons trouvé la realité très éloignée des avis que nous avions lus et qui nous ont conduit à y séjourner. Hôtel destiné à une clientèle allemande, tout le personnel parle allemand La chambre (suite avec piscine partagée) ne correspond pas aux standards 5*. Elle est très datée et peu luxueuse. Salle de bain proche du camping avec une douche minuscule en plastique, une seule vasque, toilettes non séparés et baignoire qui bouge avec une vis qui sort en bas de la baignoire (super quand on voyage avec un bébé). La literie est moyenne avec des draps rapeux et boulochés. La piscine partagée (la ronde du 2eme etage) est très agréable et au calme. La grande piscine et la plage sont également agréables. En revanche, les transats sont de mauvaise qualité et non luxueux. Pour changer les serviettes, il faut se rendre au spa, assez éloigné de la pisicine et de la plage. Nous ne les avons donc que peu changées. Au niveau nourriture, nous avons pris la formule all inclusive. Sachez que beaucoup de choses ne sont pas incluses dans cette formule dont les bouteille d’eau minérale et la carte snack dans l’après-midi. Si vous souhaitez manger dans l’après-midi, il faut aller dans l’hôtel juste à coté (apollo beach). L’hotel reste agréable en dépit de tout cela mais cela n’est définitivement pas un 5* et ne vaut pas le prix que l’on paye. Je ne recommande pas et n’y retournerai pas.

Excellent hotel we would go back again. Our room was lovely . Everywhere was so clean . The food was varied and very enjoyable only downside was waiting for it to be topped up sometimes . The pool was great and was well maintained We had no problem getting sun beds at the pool on by the beach . The beach is sandy apart from shingle at the edge once you are in the sea it was mainly sandy . We also enjoyed using the red boat to visit Rhodes town , this pickled up and dropped off from the beach which made things easy .

Lovely hotel great location
The hotel is right near the beach with its own private area. It’s also a 5 minute walk to the main strip of bars restaurants and clubs. The hotel staff are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean. Lovely hotel.

Hotel is on the Beach so great easy access
We had a great first day with Birthday cake for our sons birthday which was a nice touch. Good facilities with good spa/ jacuzzi and games room. Great music night with Beatles tribute act. Breakfast had everything you wanted but closed a little early at 10am. Room was great location with sea view and shared pool on the first floor. bedding was a little underparr - could have had firmer beds, more pillows etc.

Good stay with some improvement needed
very good stay but the resort need to cover some important improvemnet in order to get the excellent status. 1) Lack of beach bar is an disconfort to any guest 2) Lack of dinner "a la carte" every evening for all inclusive customers 3) Sun bed around pool are few and most of them are reserved, 4) Smoke policy has to be avoid smoker in the restaurant area including outside.
