Unfortunately Barbara you showed up a few hours earlier than we accept our guests and wanted to just sit out on our front lawn which was not acceptable. We would have taken your luggage and put it in our office and let you go exploring for a few hours but you didn't seem to like that idea. We were only 15 minutes away from an Historic Village which you could have gone. We are booked solid and only have a few hours to change out our rooms and bathrooms which means a lot of robes and towels since guests are now using the pool. Sorry this inconvenienced you but I pride our business in our cleanliness and do not want to overlook anything just to make room for new guests who arrive early. The reviews would be much worse if we did not take this time to thoroughly clean especially in these times of fear about COVID still.
