Previous comments pretty much said it. Not a great place, but convenient for my early flight the next day. Shower had strong pressure and was hot. Everything is dated and worn. Hard for my Uber to find the hotel. We circled around and he dropped us off at Terminal 1 where it wasn't clear that the hotel was there. I think there were signs for "Hotel" on the road, which I didn't realize was for this hotel. We just got out of the car and walked in and it was 2-minute walk inside the airport terminal to the hotel. There were no windows in my room - I'm guessing because it's in the middle of the airport building - the whole hotel, I mean. It's a 10 minute walk within the airport premises to Terminal 2. I was able to use their little gym at 3am, which has one treadmill, I think an elliptical, and a bench-press/shoulder press machine. Check-in and out was uneventful.

The property is very basic especially the furnishings and finishings. The shower door was not closing shut and water leaked to the floor. The bed was not comfortable and towels were very worn. We survived the 12 hr layover overnight but will not be our desired accommodations moving forward!

DO NOT stay here! This is a safety/health hazard. They’re located next to airport fuel and it reeks of the smell, and the front desk acknowledged it and did nothing to refund us.

property is located at the airport in Terminal 1. we took Uber from terminal 2 bet it was very difficult to find it. NO signage anywhere! It is ok for one night but no more than that.

For its purposes the hotel was fine. It is very basic don't expect any luxury. But it was convenient for catching our flight early the next day after arriving late at night at GIG. If you are looking for a hotel just for a few hrs because of the flight this is a decent option.

Convenient hotel by Galeao airport just for an early or late flight. Breakfast is ok, staff is good, the airport shuttle is another good thing.

If you need a quick stay flying in and out of Rio it is convenient, but both our rooms had a large population of ants scurrying around. One roomed smelled. The bed was saggy and old. The deadbolt was broken. Positives, It was safe and convenient and air conditioning worked.

Piso manchado, sanitário com cheio ruim, paredes do banheiro manchadas, utensílio de plástico no banheiro para apoiar shampoo e sabonete totalmente amarelado e com aparência de sujo, não tem água quente, lençóis de cama duvidosos, mal iluminado, Tv não é do tamanho que diz no ato da reserva. Tout était selon ce qu’on s’attendait. Je n’aurais toutefois pas pensé qu’il n’y avait pas de fenêtre aux chambres. Aussi, on est tombé dans une journée/nuit où il y a eu une panne de courant massive alors l’hôtel était sur la génératrice. Tout a fonctionné SAUF la climatisation. C’était donc une chaleur accablante dans la chambre et sans air extérieur étant donné qu’il n’y a pas de fenêtre. Et donc la nuit a été difficile pour dormir pour mes enfants et moi. Le personnel était très gentil. Le restaurant était très bien ainsi que les serveurs vraiment très sympathiques.

My room only had 220V outlets. In a city where the standard voltage is 110V, who would have 220V devices/converter? Exactly, not even the hotel had them! The hotel was also difficult to find, and there were no windows in the rooms.

A conveniência é o ponto alto. Dentro do aeroporto e com transfer para o terminal de voos domésticos. Se vc quer um lanche no quarto terá apenas 3 opções, mas o misto estava ótimo. O quarto está limpo, mas sem janelas. O banheiro é bom e a água quente funciona bem. O que não gostei é o nível de ruído. O isolamento acústico é ruim. Tivemos uma questão com o split que me pareceu ter o termostato quebrado, pois ficava muito frio em qq temperatura que constasse no display.

Foi bem ruim! Ligamos para pedir a van e demoraram muito para nos buscar, quando chegamos fazer o check in foi bem demorado, em uma hotel como esse, deve ter um check in rapido. Os quartos são barulhentos, sempre pessoas falando e passando com malas de rodinha! Alem disso, naquele dia teve até policia, tinham pessoas usando drogas no quarto e a recepcionista falava super alto no corredor e chamou a policia.

A equipe de atendimento em um primeiro momento foi atenciosa. Porém nos entregaram uma chave de um quarto que não havia sido limpo ainda. Equipamentos mal conservados. Ar condicionado não tem regulação de temperatura. Não tem shampoo e nem sabonete nos quartos. Em péssimo estado

Sobre o hotel do Galeão
Inicialmente chegamos ao hotel e a nossa reserva não foi achada. Foi necessário mostrar o voucher. Achei estranho… Porém, com boa vontade e bom humor o funcionário achou e nos acomodou no quarto. O quarto seria luxo, mas não parecia ser (realmente nunca me acomodei no local, só fomos mesmo pq a Gol, dessa vez, alterou o nosso voo). Sobre os funcionários, todos foram excelentes, no trato e na gentileza.

ACOMODAÇÃO IRREGULAR.
Quartos sem janela e com uma cortina para esconder a parede. O ar condicionado é central, sem que fosse permitida o controle da temperatura pelo hospede e pelo situação toda que vimos, não há limpeza regular. Moveis sem a devida limpeza, com poeira. Os corredores são úmidos justamente pela falta de penetração da luz solar. Tudo isso propicia o surgimento de ácaros e de fungos, causando alergia ou afetava o sistema respiratório gerando gripe alergica. Eu e minha familia ficamos doentes naquele ambiente. Portanto, não recomendo.

The room has no window and it smells like an old facility. The AC is noisy and the control is limited to on-off, without temperature set-up. Overall, the lack of concurrency in the area makes this hotel alive although very below of the standard.

There was no hot water to shower. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the sheets did not look clean. The tv didn’t work and the wifi was also inconsistent. Not a good stay.

Room has no windows. Beds and bath need upgrades, they look different from pictures shown. The advantages is that it is right inside the airport terminal 1, which is an abandoned terminal. It offers shuttle to terminal 2.
