We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. The staff speak good English (if needed), and are always around to help. Our room was cleaned every day, without having to request it. Free drinking water was provided in the common area which is a great amenity. The area is super walkable. It's nice and quiet at night, but easily accessible to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shops. Also a quick drive down to the beach. A note for WFH employees: The wifi is stable but can be shaky when it rains, and if you're sharing a room it's not the best setup. For us, there wasn't a chair/desk area to do work, so you'd have to do it from bed. You're better off working from a coffee shop imo.

Muy mala experiencia,la habitacion que ocupamos no funcionaba el dispositivo de tv, el desague de la regadera no funcionaba se bajo a reportar y la de recepcion dijo no podia hacer nada al respecto, las almohadas tenian moho,pedimos hablar con el gerente a lo que nos contestaron que no tenian autorizado tener comunicacion con ellos, por lo que solicitamos el nombre del gerente y nos lo negaron tambien. El segundo dia pedimos rembolso para retirarnos del hotel por lo mencionado en este reporte y nos contestaron que seria a travez de esta plataforma para solucionarlo.(Puedo adjuntar pruebas pero no me da opcion)

Stayed here for 1 night. Great hotel for the price. Felt like a safe area. Close to the main strip with lots of restaurants and shops. Great for a quick stay in Tulum.

Charmant petit hôtel et propriétaire très gentil ! Super bien situé, proche des restaurants et de la plage. Attention pour les dormeurs au sommeil leger, on entend les club autour mais avec une paire de bouchons ça va très bien.

Good place.
The hotel is well situated in the center of town. It’s a charming and peaceful place. The only hick up was the bed was quite hard. Additionally, when the floor of the hotel got wet from rain or from coming out of the pool, it became very slippery. But aside from this, it’s was lovely and the personnel was very helpful

Lovely little hotel tucked in a side road. Close to the main restaurant and shopping area. All in walking distance. Beautifully furnished with lovely details. Cost and comfy beds. Helpful staff. The pool is small but enough to cool down or dip your feet in. Our child loved it though. The breakfast is basic. The free continental is two slices of toast with butter and jam. We went to the Taqueria next door for proper breakfast. Showers don’t get very hot and stay rather lukewarm. It takes forever for the water to warm so you end up wasting a lot of water.

I booked the King room. The site doesn't mention that it's on the third floor and there are no elevators. I asked to be moved to the first floor which is a cheaper & smaller room because I am handicap and the front desk did just that. When I asked the manager for compensation being that I paid for the deluxe but had to be moved to the basic room. She nastily said its my fault I am handicap and they don't compensate when its the customers fault. Needless to say we cut our stay there early and left. Also the towels, sheets, and bed is very hard and uncomfortable.

Really loved this hotel, very clean, 24 hour desk clerk. We rented a car and the clerk promised to watch over the car over night. Loved the breakfast as well, it was made by order.

Hotelli oli kulahtanut ja todella basic. Ei millään muotoa hintansa arvoinen. Olimme tosi pettyneitä ja olisimme vaihtaneet toiseen hotelliin, jos emme olisi olleet maksaneet huonetta etukäteen. Pullovettä huoneessa ei ollut, kahvikone oli, mutta ei kahvia. Sänky ok. Aamupala ok, mutta hyvin yksinkertainen. Uima-allas tosi pieni, vesi harmaata, ei tullut mieleenkään mennä uimaan. Naapurissa baari, jossa meno jatkui aamuneljään; todella huono äänieristys/ ei äänieristystä. Asiakaspalvelu surkeaa. Hotellin väki ei osannut kertoa mitään Tulumista ja mm. poislähtiessä luvattu taksi oli jäänyt tilaamatta. Polkupyörät hotellissa ok. En suosittele tätä, jos haluat rahoillesi yhtään vastinetta.

hi! we are sorry about you are talking about our hotel because we do put our heart into it. the building is 12years old but we keep on moderning it and keep it knew. we do offer glass bottles in rooms and there is a big water dispenser in the common areas rooms have frigo bar so you can keep your water cold if'll like we put coffe machines in the rooms but coffee is for sale at front desk (2usd per coffee and it comes with sugar and spoon) many times the taxi central does not answer and we try to contact our known taxi driver, in high season this can be a problem since they are all busy doing other services. we are very sorry about your experience and we do understand our hotel is not for everybody to like nice day!

Wonderful, quaint boutique type hotel. Like staying in a tree house in the city. Walking distance to several busy streets with good dining options. Would definitely stay again.

Ok. Room is overpriced, noise is beyond belive during nights. It actually is like you sleep in a disco. Not even earplugs helped. No warm water from showers. Also they were painting when we came in and all our suitcases was in white paint, plus our clothes that we had on. Room beautiful, good location, clean. No warm water in shower. But not for people who want to sleep. Over 300 for two sleepless nights.

hi joahanna, there is hot water in shower you just have to let it run for a little bit (5-10min) the noise we are so sorry about but is not in our control since inside the hotel we do not allow any kind of music or sound, noise, scream etc and we try to keep it as quite as possible but we cannot control what other hotels do nearby

The staff were super helpful. We arrived super early in the morning and we left our bags at the hotel behind a locked gate. The also made it super convenient to get COVID tested the day before our flight back the nurses came straight to our room! Overall super cute place recommend :)

I really liked the staff at Hotel Posada 06, but I was not really happy with the check process due to the fact that the electricity was down. They let me keep my bags whilst I went out and got something to eat. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was good, and the adobe architecture makes you really feel like you are in Mexico. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy and there were some industrial smells in the air. I think this has more to do with Tulum developing than anything that Hotel Posada could really help. The rooms are really cool and efficient.

The property was beautiful. The pool area was clean and nice as the pictures promised. The staff was pleasant and respectful. I really enjoyed my stay here and would I will book here again.

Bed size misrepresented.
I booked a queen bed room, but got a room with a double bed. The hotel clerk says the hotel doesn't have queen beds, only doubles and kings. The hotels.com room descriptions are incorrect. I had to pay $20/night to upgrade to a king room, which was a great value for the much larger sunny room on the top floor with an outdoor bathtub. A large dead bug on a table never got removed by housekeeping during our 3 night stay. The free breakfast was ample and delicious. The room was quite comfortable. The location is great in Tulum center, and the loud music at night from a nearby nightclub is to be expected anywhere in the center. I would stay here again.

Great little boutique hotel in the downtown area! Short walking distance to supermarkets, souvenirs shops, restaurants and some of the best taco stands in town! Definitely will stay again and again!

Hotel was in a great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful in assisting in getting taxis and covid testing. We felt safe and would definitely stay again!

I was a little hesitant about this place because of some of the reviews. But overall it was a great experience. The staff were all nice and very helpful. The rooms have AC, are clean and unique. You have many restaurants, bars and the centro (downtown) waking distance. To go to the beach you either rent a bike, scooter or catch a taxi. The taxi's are pricey.
