Had a great stay for a week in early April 2024! Property is easy to find and check in was smooth and staff were friendly. The hotel is in a great location with a few really excellent restaurants very close by and then everything 5th Avenue has to offer a short walk away. We stayed in the junior suite which was exactly as described - very spacious, lots of storage, surprisingly quiet once the fan/air conditioner unit are turned on. Housekeeping staff were attentive and the property is generally quite clean. The rooftop pool was awesome! Often had the place to myself! A nearby hotel pool plays music all day so the vibes at this rooftop pool are just perfect. It’s not the fanciest place or the place for anyone who is remotely high maintenance, but if you consider yourself a reasonable traveller just looking for a safe, quiet, and convenient hotel, then this is the one. Notes: there is no elevator, so you have to take your luggage up the stairs. There is a corner store across the street for drinking water and snacks. The little pizza stand across from the hotel is delicious!

I think it was a good deal for what i pay. You have everything around also the attention we got was great pool upstairs was great it was empty... only down side was parking space not available from hotel we pay 1500 pesos for 6 days across the street. It was a car rental so i didn't want nothing to happen to the vehicle. We had a good time.. good for what we pay.

Everything was absolutely great. Very clean and the service was great. The only thing is that the neighborhood is very noisy so if you want to sleep in a quiet place you're not going to get that.

Habiendo hablado con la camarista, tomó más tiempo en sus dos habitaciones pues ambas necesitaban más limpieza de lo normal. Las camaristas hacen limpieza total de la habitación cada día. Esperamos verte de nuevo por aquí.

Very clean, well maintained property, in a good location of center of the town but on a quieter side of Quinta Avenida, so there's not blasting music all day and night. Much quieter than other places we stayed at near Quinta avenida. Highly recommend the hotel for a good deal! Despite not being right in the beach, it is a quick <5 min walk to the beach.

Easy access t beach, shopping areas, bus stations.
Our stay at Hotel Lis Itzaes in Playa del Carmen is fantastic! Room settings and size are exactly like the pictures on the website. The location is great because it's easy to walk to the beach, shopping areas, bus station, tour meeting stops, and even colectivo station. There are so many great restaurants nearby. Food from the street vendors outside of the hotel is tasty and affordable if you travel in a budget. The area is very safe day and night. You will see police cars patrol on street every 5 minutes. Also, hotel crew is amazing. However, if you are a morning person and go to bed by 8 pm, then you probably need ear plugs for a better sleeping. If I travel to Playa del Carmen again, I definitely will stay at this hotel because of its great location, convenience, and value of money.

Excelente hotel, personal muy amable, habitaciones amplias, ubicación perfecta para desplazarse a otras zonas. Nos preocupaba el ruido por la cercanía con la 5ta avenida, pero a pesar de estar a una cuadra es sumamente silencioso y tranquilo. Piscina muy bonita en la azotea.

Très bon hôtel pour un super séjour
Un séjour vraiment très agréable grâce à l équipe au petit soin pour ses clients. Merci beaucoup à eux. Les chambres sont agréables, propres et spacieuses. La piscine n est pas très grande mais il y a de la place pour tout le monde et nous y sommes rarement en même temps parfois nous étions tout seuls. Hôtel superbement situé en pleins centre ville et à 2 minutes à peine de la plage. Effectivement il y a du bruit de musique la nuit car Playa del Carmen est une ville où on peut faire la fête mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir car le bruit de musique est lointain.

Excellent hotel for the price. Great proximity to the main tourist area of PdC, excellent staff and the room was as clean as can be. Rooftop pool isn’t large but does the job. Will stay here again.

Hola Ana, Hay un estacionamiento frente al hotel con el que tenemos convenio para asegurarle un espacio. Este tiene un costo, como sale en la página web. Lamentamos que te haya molestado Expedia y por ello nos des una calificación baja a nosotros, que somos independientes a ellos.

In the heart of the action in Playa del Carmen
I liked Los Itzaes and the location is right in the heart of PDC. Close to the ferry port, the municipal park which has fun happenings on the weekends, and the hotel lobby and main floor are nice and the room was very clean. But if you are an early riser and not a late night party person, then the location may be too noisy for you too. Nearly every night was loud music and yelling until at least 3 am. Also if you come with a car then be prepared with lots of change for parking meters. Not on the same street but fairly close. PDC is great since so much of everything is a short walk away. But I had to spend far too much time and energy thinking about and taking care of parking. Also there is no pool so if that’s important there are other choices. But overall it was nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times of the day.
